“The food was fun and creative. The croissants, both sweet and savory, were a highlight. Overall, the food portions were very generous, and we had a good amount of leftovers. I do wish we had the option for more tea as the experience only comes with two teas. The tea menu was very extensive and I would have liked the option try more of them.“

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

“I stopped by Oklava in Palo Alto for tea and baklava, and it was a wonderful experience. “One of the best up-and-coming pizzas in the bay. Plain cheese has always been great and I recently got the "Pub Grub" pizza lab special that had buffalo cauliflower and a house made ranch sauce, probably the best speciality pizza I've ever had.“

If you are looking for the closest thing to Sweden's Kardemummabullar (Cardamom Bun), this bakery shop has the closest one that we can find in the South Bay so far. It would be perfect if the soft consistency was not just in the center and it was less dry overall. Otherwise, the spices were on point!

Their Kanelbullar (Cinnamon Bun) still has a lot work to do in terms of more cinnamon/spices, soft texture, and dryness, but it's a solid effort compared to all the other ones we have tried in the area.“

“Amazing neighborhood cafe. It's cozy, unassuming and well situated in a cute Plaza in midtown Palo Alto. The breakfast items are all delicious and well prepared, they roast their beans in house in a corner of the cafe and you may get lucky to be there while they do it, great aroma and a nice touch.

The place is run by a wonderful couple, they welcome their usual guests by name and treat the newcomers with much warmth and happiness. It is my happy place to go to go to start my day.“

Their burgers and curries looked interesting too. It's original, well-thought and properly managed. The food, however, is not remarkable in any way. “I was just looking for a place with quick service and a really good latte, and Atlas Bakery & More completely delivered. It’s inside a corporate building, which honestly made the whole thing feel even more unexpected. I grabbed my coffee and sat outside in their sunny courtyard with the fountains, little benches, and umbrellas, and it ended up being such a peaceful part of my morning. “I just went to sujues a few days back .I order my normal small or large iced Carmel macchiato with whip cream and extra Carmel .it is one of my favorite drinks when I go there .The people are kind at the cashier area .I sometimes tip here n there because I like there place .they have the food and snacks behind the glass which I can see clearly .There prices are a lil high but it's the bay area Ca .I might go back again tomorrow for another drink. Small is $5.75 and a large is $6.92.I wish they were only $4-$5 but that's the price we pay for the best weather state in America and in the west coast .“

“I went into Steve’s Cafe & Catering alone and honestly wasn’t even sure what to order at first. The staff immediately made the experience comfortable by asking thoughtful questions about what I liked and helping guide me toward the Parmesan chicken sandwich — which ended up being incredible.

It was fresh, flavorful, and so good that my girlfriend even ate vegetables she normally doesn’t enjoy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt welcoming and supportive, especially as a new customer. You can tell they genuinely care about helping people have a good experience, not just making a sale. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

By the way, the brownies made my girlfriends eyes roll hehehe, I highly recommend Steve's Cafe & Catering“

“This coffee shop has a nice aesthetic and a comfortable seating area, but my experience was just average. The coffee was okay—not bad, but nothing particularly special either.

The menu had a decent variety, though some items felt slightly overpriced. Service was polite, but a bit slow during my visit.

It’s a decent place if you’re in the area, but I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to come back.“

We ordered the Mr. Sun Special with strawberry boba and another Mr. Sun Special with brown sugar boba, and both drinks were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor. The boba was fresh, soft, and delightfully chewy, making every sip enjoyable.

“Just finished eating an egg, cheese, bacon croissant sandwich...earlier had a chocolate glazed donut with large Chai latte..the donut was fresh-i could tell immediately upon the first bite. 2 weeks ago, I indulged in Krispy Kreme donut...weird cause I see Krispy Kreme ee's making donuts but the donut did not taste fresh...a hidden gem of a place..next time I intentionally decide to indulge in a donut, this will be my to go place...from perusing other reviews, u might not find the hot drinks to ur liking but the donuts, pastries and sandwiches are divine..plus there's a variety of refrigerated cold drinks available:)...did not give 5 stars simple to encourage growth and creativity to abound:)“

“Groovy Goose has become our go-to coffee shop. We pick up coffee beans and lattes most weekends, and the quality is always excellent. The shop has a fun, hip vibe, the service is quick, and the staff is genuinely some of the friendliest around.

One thing that really stands out is how well they get to know their regulars. My wife stops by most weekdays, and when it’s not too busy, Alana often has her drink started before she even gets to the register. That kind of personal service is rare these days and says a lot about how much they care about their customers.

The bagels are made in-house and have a fantastic texture, with some unique flavors like Swiss cheese, spinach, and jalapeño. Their homemade cream cheese is also a must-try.
