“Came on a saturday when it was fully packed expecting my order to be messed up or food not prepared well but I was shocked to see that the food was absolutely perfect, got everything I wanted and the customer service was definitely a huge plus did not expect that level of service especially on such a busy hectic day. “The rice at the bottom of the bowl. That's all I have to say. The drippings of the chicken just sink all throughout the rice and pools at the bottom. And it's the BEST part. The roasted chicken was also way better than I expected. Usually the roasted chicken skin at other places is soft but this one was perfectly crispy. The chimichurri was also really good.“

“This place survived COVID and it's not easy to run a restaurant in SF.
Why? Food tastes good and the price is reasonable.

“Always friendly and tasty! OP is longtime family owned.plus same grill man who always say hi to me, a customer for 20 years. I usually go for the great gyro (extra tzatziki!), BLTs and fresh lemonade, burritos, but all is fresh and made to order.“

The food was really good. Chicken was extra crispy and had a lot of flavor to it. The two piece is probably the best go to item. The pieces of chicken are big and juicy. They season it very well.
The chicken sandwich is a good go to for eating on the go. I thought it was a little dry, but I still enjoyed the sandwich.
Staff were cool and friendly. They brought us extra napkins and sauces. They created convo and were cracking jokes. Cool guys.“

“RT remains one of the best Fried Chicken sandwiches in SF. From the pickled slaw mix, to the perfectly toasted bread, to the perfectly fried chicken, to the portion size, to the custom BBQ and hot sauces, it earns the price.
But you would be daft NOT to try the rotisserie as well, which was moist, roast, and simply solid. Fried Chicken still clears.
The other genuine winner? The steak cut fries. It's hard to find a more well done fry chip - wedgey size, golden brown, perfect fry.
AND free refills on the pure lemonade.
They got the high culinary quality in a lowkey casual environs DOWN. 76yo Asian Mother-approved. Actually, not just approved - *praised.* That's seriously an accomplishment to impress such a critically discerning audience.“

“This amazing little fried chicken joint is easy to get to, right across from the SkyStar wheel at Fisherman's Wharf.
There aren't any seats, and the place is often blocked by the hop on hop off tour buses.
They have a small but tasty menu. The fried chicken krunch box came out hot, packed with flavor, and juicy. The cole slaw was creamy and nicely seasoned. The double decker burger was a big burger that will definitely hit the spot.
All in all, if you're looking to grab a great meal to go, this place is absolutely worth checking out.“
“I was wondering what to eat iv been in this area for over a year and I honestly got sick of the same spots as every day food and while I was searching for a new spot Five Star came up and I don’t remember they where here so I went there and the employees are very welcoming and friendly and they told me it’s a new spot 🤩 and I got so excited to try everything and I ended up ordering half of their menu and I was surprised of how much flavors in their food it’s magically delicious, of course I couldn’t finish everything but I love the food they make, if there’s more than five stars I would give them more, very highly recommended.“

“I've been to many different locations for rooster and rice across San Francisco. This had been my first time at this location and it was nice. It definitely was given a corporate lunch location as it's under office buildings. They forgot to add a few items to our order. The food always delivers though, especially if you order the traditional dish.“

“I don’t make it a habit to buy fried chicken from a gas station, but I might start! It’s like KFC and Popeye’s, but less stuff on the outside, more chicken on the inside. Very lightly spicy. And now they have COLES LAW! Buy gas, buy beer, buy fried chicken to go. Thanks, Mike, for bringing me. After my second visit, this quite possibly is “America’s best-kept fast-food secret.”

“I been here many times and bought food here. Every time I been there I seen the restroom with an out of order sign but the only ones i seen go in there to use the restroom are the employees. I ask to use the restroom after I had purchased some food they said no that it's out of order... If there restroom is out of order and no customers can't use it then isn't it a violation ??“
