“Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. The only names I received were Mar, Janeka, Dom and Tone but everyone was incredible and we definitely will be back.“

“There’s something different about The Melt in San Francisco. I went with my family and ordered the Swiss & Shroom Double—and it was so good! But beyond the food, what really stood out was the atmosphere. It felt like being in a familiar, welcoming place.

What made it even more special was when Skinner came over to our table. We chatted about the restaurant, about San Francisco… and he even offered us some chocolate chip cookies!

“Better than Seoul Sausage and they won the Great American Food Truck Race! Perfect balance of spice, sauce, and crunch. The outside is amazing and the Parmesan was a nice touch!“

“Lunch at The Roost is one of our favorites in SF. As a pescatarian, this is actually the ONLY chicken I eat, anywhere - and it is delicious. The adobo seasoning is fabulous. Cole slaw has a unique flavor that I wish I could replicate at home. Do try the sweet potato croquettes, but leave room for their brown butter cookies!“

Came here for the first time while Dreamforce was in town so its possible it was busier than usual. That said, it didn't impact my experience at all. Ordered at the register, got seated right away, food came out super fast! My partner and I shared the KTPP Pork Noodle Soup and the Prahok Ktiss / Pork belly over rice and both were DELICIOUS!

The noodle soup had a clean savory broth with a hint of sweetness. The pork belly dish over rice was so flavorful and unique. Would absolutely come back here again. I hope they get added to the delivery apps at some point!“

The food was really good. Chicken was extra crispy and had a lot of flavor to it. The two piece is probably the best go to item. The pieces of chicken are big and juicy. They season it very well.

The chicken sandwich is a good go to for eating on the go. I thought it was a little dry, but I still enjoyed the sandwich.

Staff were cool and friendly. They brought us extra napkins and sauces. They created convo and were cracking jokes. Cool guys.“

“RT remains one of the best Fried Chicken sandwiches in SF. From the pickled slaw mix, to the perfectly toasted bread, to the perfectly fried chicken, to the portion size, to the custom BBQ and hot sauces, it earns the price.
But you would be daft NOT to try the rotisserie as well, which was moist, roast, and simply solid. Fried Chicken still clears.

The other genuine winner? The steak cut fries. It's hard to find a more well done fry chip - wedgey size, golden brown, perfect fry.

AND free refills on the pure lemonade.
