“Amazing food, one of the breakfast in the town! We tried avocado toast with salmon and breakfast croissant, and everything is so delicious.
One note about the place: we prefer to sit outside because the exhaust hood inside doesn't work well and afterwards our clothes smell like food. It would be great if this could be improved in the establishment.“

“Staff is great and welcoming; atmosphere is wonderful and casual, lighting gives great vibes; we sat out back in a super cute patio. Food was delicious, and we got several appetizers and bottles of wine. This was just a happy hour catch up with friends and not a main meal. For the apps that required small slices of bread to eat with, they purposely give you less than you need tho I'm unsure if we had to pay for the extra order of bread. I like that when you're ready to leave, you don't wait for the check but head to the cashier inside and pay there. Overall a pleasant experience on the pricey side, not that we were trying to conserve costs.“

“Back2Back was an absolute gem. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service hit the sweet spot between attentive and laid-back. The food? Next level. Fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared with real care—every bite was full of flavor and intention. You can tell the team loves what they do. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Easily one of the most creative (dishes, flavor combinations), and one of the best, meals I've had in the Bay Area. So many standouts - snails of course (miso and mandarin!), pan con tomate (+pimenton), mussels, oysters, scallop tostada, Venezuelan pancake, fried quail. And the wine was excellent (the chilled red birthday wine). A gem!“
“Super cute wine bar just across the street from Cafe Zoetrope. We were there for a calligraphy class but my daughter was feeling ill so we sat outside for a bit. The sommelier was kind and empathetic; he offered us waters and was talking to her to make her feel less embarrassed. While we were waiting, he even helped a lady park her car. So while we didn't have wine or food, the service is top notch and we'll go back!“

“Amazing. Even one of our waiter was amazing. They forgot my sardines and they gave me mussels. Both were AMAZING. Drinks were amazing AND the staff were amazing as well. I dont usually leave reviews unless it is worth my time. Definitely a place to go“

“I recently hosted my birthday party here and everyone had a fantastic time! Sabrina and team were super welcoming and ran everything so smoothly. We did a flexible set-up with a minimum charged for wine & charcuterie and then cash bar after that, which is ideal for this type of event. This is a great event space for ~20-40 people, would highly recommend!“

“This place is awesome! I went last night and I happen to meet the owner... ended up staying for a few hours and the staff, owner, and regulars who came in were all really great! Feels like a cozy community oasis in the middle of SF. Good for a date night as well, as they have plenty of good wine, intimate spots, and it's not too loud! Def go!“

“Authentic fare at a great place. The food was delicious and the wine selection. superb. Wait staff was attentive but unobtrusive. We ate outside but were impressed by the interior: cozy seating with fun decor. This will become a local go-to place for us. Also found that they have a spacious area in the rear for private events.“

“We hosted our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The willow trees and venue are beautiful, and it's a fun spot to host an event! Our guests had the best time, and the staff and owners were so kind and accommodating. They let us bring a band (they have an area for that already), choose a menu for our hundred guests, and the food and drinks were delicious. 5 stars! Thank you everyone at Bella Cora!!!!“

“Been here a few times for drinks or a happy hour and SF Wine Society is a gem. It has a fun bocce court, is well decorated with a sense of atmosphere, and the folks here really know a lot about wine. And as random a compliment as this is to give, the bathroom here is seriously decadent, beautifully designed and fancy??? I think that alone is a testament to the care put into this place. All the food is really delicious so I recommend getting something to go along with your drinks!“

“We noticed this wine bar in our way to Hayes St, seeing all the packed restaurants (with lines) we turned back around and decided to see what was on offer and Ebb & Flow. What a lovely, friendly wine bar. We ordered wines based on their staff picks (great option), a cheese board, salami, and tuna. The atmosphere was perfect, I’d recommend it for a date or a pre theatre drink and light food. If we’re back in SF again we would definitely return.“

“Love this place! Wine and tinned fishes what more could you ask for. Their selection of tinned fish is vast and I love how many different types and flavors there are. They also had some nice non-tinnned fish, empanadas, burrata and spreads. The perfect accompaniments for wine! Everything came with so much warm bread. We probably ordered too much, but no regrets.
They are dog friendly and the service was great! I saw they do popups sometimes so I'll have to check those out. Can't wait to go back.“

“My best friend and I made a reservation at Wine So Cru, and from the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of. The staff opened the door for us and warmly welcomed us before seating us near the fireplace, which added to the cozy ambiance. The atmosphere here is incredible—chic yet inviting.
Throughout our visit, the staff checked in on us just the right amount, attentive without being intrusive. We each enjoyed wine flights; I went with the champagne flight, while my best friend opted for the Chardonnay. Both were fantastic choices! We also tried the olives, which paired nicely with our drinks. There was a pop-up on-site that looked interesting, but as I'm vegan, we didn’t try it this time.
Overall, Wine So Cru left a great impression, and I’ll definitely be back soon!“

“A wonderful addition to the Westbrae neighborhood! We've been watching and waiting and yesterday my husband and I discovered Adega Azul is finally open. Inviting atmosphere, friendly owner, a thoughtfully curated collection of wines for sale. And a charming place for an afternoon glass of rosé and savory Brazilian pastries.“

“We love this place. So much in fact that we got married in this fantastic space. The staff is amazing. I only wish they had better food options. But honestly, if you've never been here, the wines are sensational. We'll be back next December. Thank you all at Jax Vinyards... we are so grateful for you and the service and the incredible wines.“

“THe food was amazing. Our server Kevin, every guy there is Kevin, was not clear and was pushing us to get the most expensive dishes. We ended up ordering 2 half Pekín ducks which was more expensive than ordering a whole one. I felt he our server wanted us to spend more money. Aside from that the food was great.“
“Delicious! I recommend to any wine worthy connoisseur!“

“Wonderful restaurant with terrific food and service. We share the seasonal salad and the stuffed calamari to start. Both were excellent. My wife had a wonderful pasta stuffed with pea puree and in a pea sauce. I had a stuffed pasta with cheese. Both were exceptional. The olive oil cake finished the night. Fine wine list with many affordable offerings. We had a bottle of Arnie's and it was just right. The service is very attentive from the reception to the goodby.“

“My significant other and I were travelling down Hyde St on the cable car and passed this wine bar. As wine lovers, we knew we had to go back! What a treat! There is a great selection of delicious dry European wines. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting. Everyone in the bar including the owner were very friendly and helpful with other great recommendations in the area. I highly recommend visiting if you are a wine enthusiast.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“Short wait on a Friday night for 7 of us. Really small place but the wait staff and owner very friendly and everyone was very happy with their meal. If I lived here I would go back.“
“What a nice way to spend a Friday evening in the city. Wandered in and was immediately geared warmly by Nestor (the whole team exude warm hospitality) who was able to accommodate us without reservations. The space is cozy and the counter seating allowed is to get to know our host a bit better with introductions. Highly recommended the Tavern pizza and add the Phoebe of the hunger pangs are mighty. Two pizzas were more than enough for two with plenty forbtake away enjoyment.“
“If you're in the mood for a great night out, this bar is a hidden gem that delivers in both food and atmosphere. As soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance. The lighting is soft but not too dim, the décor is cozy yet stylish, and the sound level strikes a perfect balance — lively enough to feel energizing, but quiet enough to carry on a conversation without shouting.
The food is what truly sets this place apart. While many bars serve standard snacks or pre-packaged appetizers, this one takes its menu seriously. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. The appetizers, including hummus and pita, or seasoned steak or chicken skewers are perfect for sharing over drinks.
The bar staff is friendly and knowledgeable, happy to recommend drinks based on your preferences or suggest food pairings. The cocktail list is creative and the beer selection is varied, making it easy to find something that suits your taste.
What makes this bar truly special, though, is its welcoming atmosphere. The staff makes an effort to connect with patrons, and it’s clear that regulars are made to feel like family. Whether you’re there for a casual drink, a light meal, or a night out with friends, this bar hits all the right notes. It’s a place that feels like a home away from home — comfortable, fun, and full of great vibes.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food, a great drink, and a place where they can relax and enjoy the company of others!“
“My wife and I return each year on the anniversary of our first meeting at California Wine Merchant. Most recently, the owner Greg, took our photo and gave us a complimentary glass of Champagne to mark the occasion. He’s a great guy and his bar is a great place to meet up with friends, or maybe the love of your life.“
“Fun place to come hang out with friends and pets when they have an event. I was so happy to find Noel and Purity wines, it's hard to find juicy fun natural wines around the Bay. The wines here are different from most wines. More akin to sour beer or dry cider. Everyone working here is kind and a little eccentric which is a great thing.“

“I’ve been bamboozed; I was told I could eat the entire bingsu by myself but it was too much!!!! I got the Korean one, and it was so yummy—lots of toppings and I liked the the condensed milk came on the side.
Really cute study vibe with free wifi and a bathroom. I’d go back to see someone play the grand piano. Not a ton of seating though“

“Very good, but not perfect. Maybe the recent Michelin star and the hype skewed some of my expectations, but while some dishes were outstanding, others fell a bit flat.
The beginning of the meal started out stronger, with a simple, but satisfying bread and butter and flavorful first course, for which I received a vegetarian variation to accommodate my finned fish allergy.
The 2nd course with the poached egg was definitely the best part of the whole meal - very rich, but silky and complex with flavor and texture.
The 3rd course pastas were both amazing for the same reasons as the 2nd and a close favorite.
The 4th courses were where things disappoint a bit: Though the lobster 3 ways sounds great, the stew was a little too overpowering in flavor and hiding the lobster's flavor (though there was a decent amount of lobster meat in there). The sauce that accompanied the tail was delicious, but the tail was uneven in doneness, with the narrow part a bit overdone while the thicker part was just right. The tempura claw was perfect and the best part of the main course.
For my husband's main course- the wagyu bavette. It was delicious.
The 5th course - dessert - was also a mix. I found the chocolate pear too one-note and overpowering with pear (expecting other flavors to come out of the chocolate, cake, or almond shortbread). My husband's sundae was much better with all the right flavors and balance coming through.
Overall, this was a great meal, but not perfect.“

“The downstairs lounge is an amazing space to host private dinners. There is no noise interference from the outside, the bank vault feel gives is a very special atmosphere, and the staff were very efficient and friendly in looking after us. For private events in SF, this is now our go-to option! Oh, and the cocktails were absolutely outstanding - many participants told me that!“

“We were looking for something unique and in a neighborhood we don't spend a lot of time in, and were so happy to stumble across Taksim.
As soon as we walked in, the smells of deliciousness hit our noses. The staff were very welcoming and also brought over a carrot/ginger soup shot as a little welcome item which was a very nice touch. Throughout the meal the service was stellar.
The food itself was also very good. The flower bread is super soft, airy and the sumac butter just takes it to a whole new level. The dip trio was also a very good idea. You've had these dips before I'm sure, but Taksim's are even better.
The cocktails and wine list are also impressive with some winners along the way. The Black Salt Blaze and the Peachy Bazaar were both very good!
Can't wait tot go back!!“

“Super chill place that’s cozy and serves amazing nibbles and wine without being pretentious or exclusive. Can’t speak to mingling possibilities (whether you’ll go home with someone new) but it is a hangout stand-out, with stellar service. My new fav place north of Gourmet Ghetto“
