“i heard from a little bird that 4 real italian men were going to open up a pizza express in town. Pizza is italian right. So why eat pizza from someone like Norway like me i will make you some grub and alot of potatoes. Leave the pizza to the experts. Well Valentines we had friends over and i thought pizza would be fun and a big salad.....wow wow wow Formaggio pizza is not like any in town. ITS REAL EVERYTHING THE SAUCE IS TO DIE FOR. “Great food, great family and staff, and nice and clean location. We had the Italian boss sandwich on fresh sourdough trucked in from San Francisco that day.. unbelievably yummy! The cannolis are amazing, and the chicken parmigiana was delicious. Great prices too! Definitely recommend!!!“

“This is one of the best pizza places, probably in El Dorado county. I’ve been to quite a few pizza places, but not only the pizza but the customer service. Being greeted with a smile every time you go in the fast service it’s clean exterior and interior. And it is absolutely positively the best darn pizza and I’ve ever had ! Mind you I have tried the all meat, combination n the vegetarian. And all of the pieces I’ve had and next one I’m gonna get the Stromboli but every pizza I’ve had has been the most delicious well prepared Amazing tasteful lots of condiments on it. It’s just the best!! Once you’ve tasted, you can’t stop eating it. Try it you’ll Love it

“Although I do love their food, and I have been a loyal customer for almost a decade, through thick and thin… COVID etc. But… I must say that the new “format” with servers coming to your table to take the order and then deliver it is a big mistake. Also the new furniture we arrangement. It is nowhere as nice as it used to be… Completely changed the ambience and the climate for the worst. Please please please go back to where it was!“

My pasta campagnia & my husbands veal,parmigiana were excellent! We also ordered a small pizza (to go) but had to have one slice! Great pizza! Then pumpkin gelato to share & finish our meal! Brought leftovers of each one home! So much food, so much goodness!“

“The food was excellent and our server was awesome!

However, the gentleman who works at the front counter and the woman who sat us didn't seem like they were having a good evening. No, hello or how are you even after I asked them how they were doing. It almost made you feel as if you were a nuisance/annoyed they had to deal with speaking to you therefore it didn't feel welcoming at all. We were seated quickly as it was around 7pm on a Saturday and not overly busy.

Our server changed that non welcoming feeling. She immediately greeted us with a smile and was very friendly and helpful. I really wish I remembered her name but I hadn't planned on leaving a review until I got a yelp notification asking me to do so.

We will definitely be back because of the service she provided and all 3 of us in our party enjoyed our food. If the food hadn't been good and our server had been like the first two employees, we wouldn't be open to dining here again, so both of those things saved our experience.

“The pizza tasted amazing. Best I have had in a long time. It is a thinner crust with very good sauce. The service was also very fast. I also tried both desserts and they both tasted really good. The manager was nice enough to put on the France vs. Portugal soccer game for us! This place is a gem. Really recommend!“

“My all time favorite pizza place. Unfortunately I moved to the Bay Area when I was a teenager so I can only get it when I come over to Sacramento or driving through to auburn or Reno. The family meal is my jam, garlic chips, (also my all time favorite) Caesar salad, and pepperoni pizza. Every time. Been coming here for 36 years. Wish you guys would come over to the sf peninsula area!“

“I recently had the chance to try a pizza made by a vending machine - PizzaForno, and I have to say, it was a surprisingly good experience. The machine was quick, efficient, and produced a pizza that was better than I expected from something automated.

The pizza itself was well-seasoned, with a nice balance of tangy sauce, gooey cheese, and a satisfying array of toppings (I went with the classic pepperoni). The crust, while soft and airy, didn’t quite hit the level of crispy I personally prefer.

The real magic happened when I decided to reheat the pizza at home. After a quick spin in the oven for about 5 minutes, the crust turned perfectly golden-brown. The flavor was still excellent, but the reheating brought out the texture that I had been craving.
