“Good ambiance and good food.“

“Incredible dishes! We started with biscuits which were warm flaky and heavenly with perfect butter. Celery was refreshing and crunchy - highly recommend as a contrast to biscuits.

We also got calamari which were perfectly crispy, I was not the biggest fan of the sauce, but my husband liked it. For main course both the rosemary chicken and the steak were amazing!

In terms of seating we got the table on the patio which had great atmosphere except for trains passing by. I think next time I would book indoor table, but we 100% want to come as all the food was incredible.“

The oysters are ultra‑fresh and perfectly chilled, the ideal briny start to the meal. The steak is cooked spot‑on with a rich peppercorn sauce and crispy fries, making every bite feel like a true Parisian bistro experience. “So, I was not expecting to have a beer while perusing a nee bookstore this weekend, but lo and behold! I desperately needed to charge my dying phone, and couldn’t find an outlet anywhere in the book aisles. So I stumbled across The 1894, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Their happy hour is awesome- a french pilsner for only $6! And the staff went out of their way to accommodate me near an outlet where i can drink and charge my phone. Again, was not expecting this pleasant bar, but will def be back!“

“What a find!. I mean it was my birthday so we searched for something that tickled my requirements in the area we were staying. Such a warm and welcoming reception. The thing is I messaged a week ago on Insta and they held my spot. When we arrived we were treated like royalty .Food and wine was amazingly accompanied with great hospitality. “Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.“

“How did this quirky gem evade my notice for five years?! I guess because they're only open Friday and Saturday. This may be the best restaurant in Pasadena. Inventive creole-inspired food. “Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot.The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good,and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“What a hidden gem! This small quaint restaurant delivered some of the best food we had while visiting Pasadena. The flavors in the sauce (basil, olive oil and something else yummy) that surrounded the burrata were absolutely delicious! The lamb/beef/pork bolognese sauce on the spaghetti as well as the duck was excellent. Portions are definitely generous and shareable. Our only regret is we didn’t save room for dessert! Despite being there during the Rose Bowl with lots of people, the service was excellent! So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant via Resy, we’ve saved it in case we come to Pasadena again!! “Excellent food at a reasonable price. We are in Pasadena for a wedding and just had breakfast at the Cordova Cafe my wife absolutely loved the lox and bagel. And I had the Cordova breakfast burrito it was excellent. 10/10“

“I have been to Off the Hook several times. Each time with different friends and we have always had a good experience. The food is very good and fresh, the portions are reasonable (not too large, not too small) service is courteous.“

“Wednesday 1/21/26 Dinner at Bambino Felice. Ordered the La Supreme Pizza. The restaurant use fresh ingredients and cheese that comes out piping hot! So good, I almost finished the whole pizza by myself but need to hold back as it is only January and I don’t want to break my new year resolution of losing some weight so early; Maybe next month as statistically most people break their new year resolution. lol

I got the pleasure of meeting Ivan, restaurant owner, who took my order and go over their numerous specialty dishes. Thank you Ivan for your hospitality.

I will bring my friends and colleagues back to try other dishes. The restaurant’s service staffs worked hard and quickly to serve their customers.

“Victor was very attentive and nice!

The steaks now are drowned in smelly butter. Yes! The butter smells funny and it's soaked into the meat. I think it may be that fake butter like Orville Redenbacher's bottled immitation butter liquid. They pour it over the hot plate to get it to sizzle and smoke. Similar to the weird stuff Mexican restaurants pour on the hot plates to get the fajitas to sizzle and smell. (Yes, it's fake) Google it. Everything else was okay, but just like Flemmings now, not the same quality. $80+ for a piece of meat is not my thing anymore.“

The bottle service was the best we didnt have to keep finding our host at all they kept coming by making sure we were good, clearing our tables and making sure we had everything we needed!!
