“🥰Traveled to El Segundo for other than stumbling across an unassuming brick building with "Bread Bar" on a small sign. Who would have imagined finding a world-class bakery with a splendid selection of breads and pastries. One taste and I, my family and my friends were hooked! And they ship!“

“When I walked every employee had a smile on their face and the young lady named Melany took my order and she did an amazing job explaining the menu and bread options to me. “As a family with a celiac, this place is a godsend. The food pairs so well with their wine selection. The owner is a Som and knows her stuff. Bummer that their bakery had to close due to the terrible economy, but they still have a small selection. The biscuits are pretty insane! A+“

As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.

We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!

The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.

We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.

The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.

We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.

There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.

All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.

“We were treated here by one of my rich friends and honestly, that’s probably the only scenario where a place like this makes sense for treating the whole family out. My family has a very high bar for food. People say I’m picky, and I’m like, “Please… meet my mother.”

Service-wise, this place is flawless. The staff is charming, attentive, and somehow manages to make you feel both fancy and comfortable at the same time.

Since it’s family style, we shared practically everything and with a party of seven, those plates add up fast. By the time the table was full, the bill was basically giving luxury vacation energy.

Out of everything we tried, the Radiatori Braised Beef Ragu was the clear standout. Rich, comforting, and the kind of pasta that shuts everyone up at the table for a minute.

The Garlic Knot bread was good, though we weren’t big on the pieces with the garlic ends. After some research (and by research, I mean a heated family debate followed by frantic Googling), we realized that’s a pretty common thing in restaurants — just not our personal preference. Oh and the drinks were on point :)

Overall, a lovely, polished meal… definitely best enjoyed when someone else is picking up the tab.“

“Went for special holiday meal. Food was delicious. Probably the tastiest chopped chicken liver I've ever tasted. Fabulous brisket, potato pancakes, noodle kugel. Service was extremely good. The server helped make the evening fun. Terrific cocktails helped too. Will eagerly come back to the restaurant for brunch and dinner.“

“Excellent place for all bakery products. This always a queue, soliciting the lovely Brazil. I loved the big Sangki bread and the Banana Bread. The hummus and yoghurt dip, what's awesome? It's her secret recipe for over the years. I heard conversations where the third generation had come to buy from the bakery. It is an excellent place to have your morning breakfast and start the day with an excellent taste combined with health. Reasonable prices great value for money“

The staff is lovely, great with dietary needs, and a positive environment. I also love how they have local products they sell, and their own homemade creations too. “Very crispy chicken with friendly owner. The chicken was freshly fried and juicy on the inside. We picked yuzu sauce which is mayo with citrus taste which helped tone down the usual fatty feeling when you eat frying food but I’d say something more flavorful (sweet/spicy) can help if you want more seasoning. The yuzu sauce helps me taste the umami from the chicken. Overall very happy with my karaage!“
