This small grab 'n go restaurant has a line to order. With only a couple tables outside and a small parking lot, it is not a place to stay and eat at. However, the staff are friendly and most importantly, food is sooo good.“

“Loved the food here! We ordered the beef ribs, grilled salmon, and a couple of poke dishes. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and SO flavorful; even our young kid liked them instantly. Maybe they smoke the ribs a little too. Whatever this shop does it's "broke da mouth" good. The salmon was delicious. The poke flavors were amazing. We even liked the mac salad and I normally don't enjoy that. Even details down to dressing the rice with dried seaweed was appreciated by us all.
My wife was super happy to be able to sample so many poke flavors as she was ordering. This is our new "go to" Hawaiian place because it's some of the best; even compared to on the islands. Also, the prices are quite reasonable. We can't wait to go back.“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. I can’t wait for my next trip to LA so I can stop there again!“

Try the Chicken Bowl, which comes with brown rice and a large drink for only $8.75“

“For a small take out poke place, this was great. The fish was fresh, and all the ingredients in our poke bowls were well thought out. We had the mango albacore poke bowl and the shitake chili tofu bowl.
Lots of people came and picked up takeout. They do have two small tables in the front on the sidewalk. I would definitely get their poke bowls again. Not much atmosphere needless to say.“

“We were so stoked to find out Beach Hut still existed when we moved back to the area! Still the same menu as 20 years ago and still amazing Hawaiian comfort food. Great friendly staff in a much easier location to park then back in the day in Hermosa. We will be back many many more times!

“I recently grabbed some takeout, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken katsu on garlic noodles was a knockout - the chicken was incredibly crispy and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly garlicky and addictive. The furikake chicken was another winner, with a satisfying crunch and a sprinkle of that magical Hawaiian seasoning.
Laidback Kids is the perfect spot for a quick and delicious Hawaiian fix. You won't regret it!“

“So the brother at the front counter, his name is Joel and he was extremely awesome and very helpful and helping me pick out what I wanted and his customer service was awesome. I really appreciated his care of detail and he made me feel just at home restaurant is very clean very Ohana and very well-maintained. They had a lot of good selection of meats, sides and drinks as well and I got a half-and-half, pineapple, chicken and lava Katsu chicken with Mac and veggies. It tastes so freaking good. It was awesome and they give you a lot of options on sauces as well but yeah, I recommend this place if you want real good authentic Hawaiian food so yeah it was a 10 out of 10 and I definitely recommend this location without a doubt, aloha and Mahalo.“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time on Saturday - it's my new favorite poke place! Lots of parking and no wait! More importantly, the bowl was delicious! I sat outside on the benches where I proceeded to devour the entire bowl! Got a mix of salmon and spicy tuna for the protein. They have lots of great veggies and toppings. I will be back!“

“This was my first experience at this establishment. First, I am satisfied with the welcoming atmosphere set by the representatives. Second, the wait time for the food was short. “We were just passing through and looking for something close to our hotel, and so happy we found this spot! Because it was our first time, we got complimentary chili - definitely see why it’s 7 times award winning! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and very accommodating to make sure our order is to our liking. We had 2 bento boxes, Kaula pork and bbq pork. The portion sizes were perfect and the meat was very flavorful. The sides of macaroni and cucumber salad were just as good. We also had one of their many specials of the day, fish tacos, which were incredibly fresh and simple, exactly what I want for fish tacos. Next time we’re visiting LA, we’ll be sure to be back!“
