Noodles in Elk Grove, CA

“Went to eat there about 3 PM. The place was empty so we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Ordered A14 - the Spicy Beef Brisket with Rice Noodles. Out waitress brought out a plate of items to add which included tofu, wood ear, lettuce, ham, green onion and raw egg and some other items hard to translate along with a separate plate filled with cooked beef brisket and a bowl of cooked noodles. A few minutes later she brought out a large bowl of boiling broth kept hot with fuel gel from underneath. I threw everything in starting with egg and dug in. The broth had a rich flavor, like it had been stewing for a long time and was just spicy enough without causing discomfort and not too salty either. I stirred everything up, grabbed a piece of beef brisket and shoved it in my mouth, preparing for a long chewing session. To my pleasant surprise, the brisket nearly melted in my mouth. Even the tendon was easy to consume. My SO had the dry noodle bowl that was also delicious but slightly lacking in cool cucumber to offset the spice.“

“Gluten free options for a lot of the regular items. Sweet and sour chicken gluten free was beyond good. Rice noodle with chicken gluten free was beyond good! Honey walnut shrimp gluten free was beyond good. I look forward to returning and trying the gluten free general tso chicken.“

“Stopped in Ramen Q to try something new. We only ordered two main entres, so I can't speak to the appetizers, although I would be interested in trying them. Their Hawaiian BBQ- awesome. Definitely the best I have had in the area. I also ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, which was decent. Not the best I have ever had, but enjoyable. We did have to wait a little bit to be seen, the kitchen seemed busy and like they maybe didn't have enough staff, but the person who helped us was friendly and did apologize for the wait time. Ultimately all of our food came out, hot, quick, and yummy. I would be interested in going again.“

“They have great Boba my daughter loves it we come from out of town to get it for her. I love their mangonada.“

“The food was good. Got the combination premium pho of oxtail and rib. Meat was very tender. Not the best pho but decent. No service though, shouldn't really tip. Fast food takeout style. You pay upfront and grab your own water and then wait for your food.“

“For the most part the food was tasty. It was a bit quiet with roughly 15 patrons total, eating an early dinner.
The Peking ribs were a bit sweet and slightly overcooked. The shrimp and beef dishes, along with the noodles were savory.
The hot and sour soup was very delicious.“
