“I really appreciate this KFC for being one of the few truly accessible drive-through spots in Oakland. It’s easy to get in and out, and the staff are always patient and respectful — that goes a long way.

The food’s consistently solid, too. The biscuit with gravy is my favorite — warm, simple, and satisfying. The three-piece chicken tender meal with fries and a root beer always hits right.

It’s just nice to have a place that feels dependable, both in service and food. Thanks to the team here for keeping it that way.“

“Was told by a gentleman operating the gondola at the Transit Center to try The Bird. Said it was the bear chicken around. The prices seemed okay but when we got the sandwiches, the price was even better. Biggest piece of chicken I'd ever seen on a sandwich. Taylor tots were great and the drinks allowed for multiple refills.“

“Great variety of tasty dishes on the menu and the food was delicious! I loved the “secret” specials - you need to ask to find out what they are. Fun cocktail options. And, all of the dessert options were awesome! My fav was the cheeseburger - YUM! I would definitely go back!“

“Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. The only names I received were Mar, Janeka, Dom and Tone but everyone was incredible and we definitely will be back.“

“Okay wow. My kids love this spot and I never tried it bc I thought it was just whatever but I finally ordered a single tender for myself to see what the hype was all about and it was so good!!! I got mild which is just a tiny kick but not where you need to find water and it was so good! Amazingly crispy even after waiting after I had driven home to eat it and the pickles and super soft slice of bread was the perfect complement. The batter is very tasty with a hint of sweet and the chicken itself felt like great quality and wasn’t dry. Okay I get it now! Will order myself some food the next time the kids ask for this!“

“My family decided to give the Honey Garlic chicken a try and it was a really good. It was still crispy with the sauce. I was actually a little skeptical since I had the Korean fried chicken at Von’s before and it was just soggy and nasty so I kind of expected the same but to my surprised, it was crispy and tasty! We also ordered the rose dtebokki with cheese that was really good as well. Loved the sauce and the spice wasn’t overwhelming. The only downside was the price. It’s pretty expensive but some chicken so it will definitely will be a once in a while type of treat!“

“Customer service was phenomenal. The burgers were outstanding delicious. I had a salad as well. It was a nice day so I enjoyed my lunch outside on the patio and people watched. What a lovely day in Oakland. Don't forget to enjoy one of their housemade lemondades. Enjoy :-)“

“Randomly went there when walkong though SF in the night. Ate one of the best burgers in my life. What a treat! Came with a little pickled cucamber that was as good as we have it back home in Europe. I recommend this place for a random late night eating situation!!!“

“If you crave an old fashion burger complete with iceberg lettuce this place is for you. Today was my first time there and I went with the cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was good. Not great but honest. Gave it 7.5. The crinkled fries were mid. Pretty sure they were frozen. I didn't eat em all. Needed salt. The shake was decent and you get a large. Right there i knew it wouldn't be the best shake. For 20 bucks plus tip it was ok. I don't think i got their best. Next time I'm trying the teriyaki burger and chicken. It's a small, side of the road joint that's so close to being incredible.“

“I got the Mostritos plate from Roosters Peruvian Food, and it was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, and everything had great seasoning. Definitely one of the better Peruvian dishes I’ve had. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend! 🔥🇵🇪“

“Lunette is ranked #2 food spot in the Ferry building by the SF Chronicle. Well deserved. It offers very tasty dishes with both rice and noodle options. It has a separate vegetarian menu. Spicy dishes are highlighted. Table space is limited so expect to share a table and/or wait in line at lunch times. Fast and friendly service. If you want to try your hand at Khmer cooking , Lunette is also selling a cookbook.“

“The fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy tender inside. The various chicken combos are good deals. There is a wait for orders because the food is not precooked and sitting under heat lamps. Parking can be difficult and the small parking lot fills up quickly. I will definitely be returning!“

“I think this is one of the best Chinese BBQ spots in Chinatown. The char siu tastes just like the kind I had in Guangdong, it has that classic Cantonese BBQ flavor. The portions are also very generous, especially the amount of meat they give you.“

“Four stars because they clucked up one of the things we ordered. The Cali Cluckwich came with no tempeh bacon or avocado added on, and we didn't have time to get it fixed because we were crunched for time on a work lunch break. Without the cali ingredients added, it was a plain old classic cluckwich. Other than that, taste-wise the food was good. Also, I've always loved the customer service at the San Francisco location, the employees are always so happy and friendly. Hunny Hickory TenderClucks were delicious. “I’ve been a fan of the Roost for the last few years - I’d order from them most weeks when I drove into my office. Their food is amazing… you can tell so much care goes into each meal they deliver.

I just found out they opened a new cafe as well and can’t wait to see it!

“so good! Much better than I imagined! The staff didn't seem to handle it well when it got busy, they were incredibly slow at first, I wasn't thrilled, but it was definitely worth the wait. Very nice people and very good food, although if we're honest I would probably avoid the rice bowls as they are a bit torn. Get the tacos and I'll have to try the BBQ chips, but I think they'll be delicious“

“Lovely quaint place offering either whole pizzas or pizzas by the slice. Slices are enormous and tasty. We made the mistake of ordering two each, they were enormous. Great value for money. Rotisserie chicken and Mac and Cheese was also super tasty. Best of all were the very lovely staff. Would highly recommend. Exceeded my expectations.“

I also love the pickles they have here, i would buy a tub of it. the worker their are so kind and make sure everything is ready and fresh before you get it.
