“Of course Black Jet has amazing pastries and food, but what I really want to highlight are their cakes to order! I ordered my partner’s birthday cake from them (the Boston Cream Pie flavor) and it was incredible. I also recently ordered their heart-shaped Devil’s Food Cake for my best friend’s engagement party, and it was perfect! Everyone has loved the cakes both times. “So I went to 7-eleven in Vallejo the other day and came across a variety of great looking cakes that were individually packaged for about $5 I believe and something told me to try one. I am so glad I did!! I have found my future cake maker. I can’t tell you how delicious Cassandra’s cakes were I still can’t believe just how good they are and I’m so happy I walked into 7-eleven that day lol. I love that they somehow are distributed out here. It was very fresh and I even saved a piece for the next day and it tasted freshly made. 10/10 recommend!!“

“i'm just a girl but this cake is so pretty to not post!! i've been ordering birthday cakes from this place for a few years now for my family, and asked to place an order for a mixed fruit n cream cake! initially, i ordered writing on it as it was a thank you cake, but i ended up finding out last minute that i couldn't give the cake to the recipient. but, that was completely okay, because my bday was coming up so this ended up being my bday cake. i can't complain because it came out absolutely gorgeous :') i've never received macarons or sprinkles on my cakes from ladyfingers, but this nice touch was so lovely. i also love the peekaboo piping on the cake, its so cute. THANK YOU LADYFINGERS CAKES FOR MAKING NOT TOO SWEET CAKES FOR MY ASIAN TASTEBUDS!!

i really missed oakland chinatown's mixed fruit cream cakes after i had to move to san leandro. finding out that ladyfingers in san leandro also sold mixed fruit cream cakes (and dare i say prettier cakes) made me ecstatic. thank you for giving me a taste of my childhood, i can't thank you enough.“

“Delicious selection of cakes and breads that made it tough going selecting just a few. In the end we settled on the lemon meringue tart, apple crumble slice and a baked cheesecake. All were delicious. We also grabbed a cold sausage roll for heating later on and it was a monster. I have reviewed Almost French Bakery before but it’s missing off Zomato.“

Humble beginnings and beautiful cheesecakes are coming out of his paradise! I am from Wisconsin and we know a thing or two about cheese but I can tell you we can’t compare to Gregory and his cheesecakes! James and the Giant Cupcake made our wedding cake & cupcake tower - not only were they DELICIOUS (and vegan and gluten-free!!!) and got tons of compliments/friends asking us where we got them/where they could get more, but they were also a dream to work with and made them beautiful! “i’ve actually never been here nor have i personally bought anything, but someone brought a cake from here. chocolate strawberry cake. it seems unassuming but WOW it’s one of the best cakes i’ve ever had. i could have eaten all of it myself. it was perfectly sweet (not actually sweet) and the texture was 10/10.“

Their prices are really nice and affordable (keep in mind they only accept $5 or more for debit and credit card purchase) with a great range of sweet and savory pastries. I love getting their pineapple buns and their matcha red bean pastries.
