“This is going to be my poke spot. The portion was so generous. I don’t know what mammoth size poke bowl people are used to but I was stuffed after getting a regular. The fish, the avocado - everything was so fresh. The server recommended the eel sauce which was so umami and delicious.“

“I recently went to Sago and honestly loved the whole experience. The vibe was very tropical Tulum-inspired super cute, aesthetic, and perfect for a cute date, night out with girls or content spot!
We tried a few dishes and everything was so good:

The kimchi marble potatoes were crispy and flavorful with the cilantro, chimichurri, and chive crema (definitely one of my favorites). The cucumber salad was really fresh and light with a nice kick from the serrano and ponzu. We also had the hamachi ceviche, which tasted super fresh, and the Japanese fried chicken with chive kaluga caviar which was crispy, juicy, and just a really fun, unique dish.

The drinks were also super refreshing and slightly tropical, perfect with the food.

Overall, the atmosphere, presentation, and flavors were all on point. Such a cute Encinitas spot and I’ll definitely be back to try more.“

“Good pho, 3.5/5. Really enjoyed the broth flavor, pretty good fresh noodles, meat was a bit sub par extra chewy texture and fat around edges. Given the hefty price per bowl, and restaurant name, should improve quality of meat served.“

“We arrived a little after 7 pm on a Wednesday night as a party of 2 adults & 1 toddler. The restaurant was packed, but the host graciously cleared a table I'm assuming they usually use for host things to seat us right away.

Our server was so kind and friendly towards our toddler, and all the servers were very patient with us as we decided what to order since it was our first visit.

The food came out hot and quickly, and was quite tasty. We got the fried eggplant appetizer, drunken noodles (veg/tofu), Lao curry bowl (chicken), and mango sticky rice. The drunken noodles were up there with some of the best I've had. Everything else was good, but not amazing.

We had a great time though because of the service and friendliness of the staff, and will definitely return.“

“We got the not-so-pork banh mi and the tofu banh mi, both without mayo to make it vegan. The staff are super friendly and kind, and it was easy and straightforward to get the order veganized. The tofu banh mi was a bit plain (they offered us peanut sauce instead of mayo, which we had declined. Next time, we’ll say yes, haha!), but the not-so-pork banh mi was excellent. Would go back!! “This is a solid poke spot that is really unique because they also sell boba. I noticed that a lot of Boba places in San Diego actually sell something else in addition to the drink, like popcorn and candy, or crepes. I found that to be pretty interesting. The food here seem to be good fish quality but the sauce is to me were a little bit on the bland side. I still enjoyed the meal and the milk tea quality was just okay.“

“This place is absolutely amazing! Me and my family come here almost once a week and we all love the food and the experience. The ramen is absolutely delicious! “Didn't come in with high expectations, but it was a pleasant surprise. Food is great, especially not overly sweet like every other Asian places.. Service is quick and friendly. 20-30 for each entree is reasonable in the time and place that a combo meal fast food costs 15-20. I highly recommend shrimp and scallop, and chicken lettuce wrap. Menu looks great! I think I am gonna try everyone on the menu in the future.

It was a good addition to skydeck. Reservation on OpenTable showed no table available until 8 PM for two days in a row. But when we came in around 6, there were a plenty of seatings.“

“Act of kindness and respect. My husband is a Vietnam vet. We ordered our food at the counter. We didn’t notice the placard at the counter saying “ we give discounts to vets”. Our number was called and we went to the counter, paid and brought the delicious Japanese food to our table. I asked Buddy, did you get your discount? He was unaware. We inquired about it mid meal. They offered to re-ring our tab. We said don’t bother, we’ll get you next time. The owner or manager not sure who he was didn’t let it go. He noticed we were drinking water with our meal. He came over with bottled water and said this is for you. We honor all veterans. Thank you for your service. It really touched our hearts. Made our day. I shared the 2 x $25 meal (gyu-don and chicken karaage) and a salmon poke bowl. Karaage was super light and crispy and the gyu-don was exactly what I was imagining. The salmon poke bowl also great, with a mix of raw and seared salmon. The seared salmon was a great touch! Overall, everything was delicious and very good portions. I will definitely be returning to try some other menu items!“

If you like spicy, you cannot pass on their hot and spicy soup. We have turned on several friends to that dish alone! “It's a perfect place for a group of friends to gather as they have round tables that seat 6 or 7. The chicken lettuce wraps are always a favorite, as is the hot and sour soup, which is hearty and delicious! New lunch specials are excellent, with lots of choices and scaled down in price and in quantity. And everything is prepared fresh (you may actually have a wait for some items), but always worth it!“

“Eating a lot of their food past four months through Grub Hub due to being unable to walk. It’s always excellent. Tonight’s was super excellent, chop suey with beef extra snow peas and Napa cabbage. Been cooking for over 60 years and this is one of the best and healthiest things I have ever eaten.
Also a bargain…one order is enough for three meals!!!

“Front desk was friendly and efficient. Dinner and breakfast was good but dinner needed a few comfort appetizers. I happened to get a handicapped room which was huge. Problems I noted were there were no towel racks anywhere in the bathroom or bedroom. Also the handicapped shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. I had to wear flip flops in the bathroom so I didn’t track water all over the bedroom. I stayed 2 nights and paid extra care the second night and still water was outside running across the floor. I forgot to tell the front desk that the lower light switch between the beds was similar to a strobe. Flickering on snd off very fast. I’m thinking it was a low light for a dim room but it flickers. Hopefully they read this. Our room had a mini refrigerator and there was bottled water in the room, and a coffee maker. I would stay again.“
