“An excellent place for a first date. It’s quiet enough to talk, yet not so quiet that it feels awkward. The lighting is soft and romantic, and the drink selection is fantastic — especially if you’re into wines or classy cocktails. I appreciated the attention to detail: the garnishes were fresh, glassware elegant, and even the water was served with a cucumber slice. That’s how you know they care about presentation. We stayed for almost three hours, just talking and sipping. Will definitely come back.“

We got the lobster bao buns, the noodles, tuna sashimi, and cucumber salad. all INCREDIBLE! service was also perfect with everything coming out very fast. Noodles had that elusive awesome wok hay flavor (I know that’s a Chinese concept but not sure how to describe the Thai equivalent). Our server was super friendly and efficient- food came out lightning fast. We ordered the fried eggplant, the basil stir fry with beef, and the Chow Fun with tofu. Only wish we had more people in our party so we could try more things.“

“So glad to find Poki Poki has a location in Carlsbad. I was trudging out to the Oceanside locations for my poke fix, but this is much closer. The food is just as delicious as the other locations.

I always get the seared ahi as one of my proteins, which comes in thick wedges. The servings are generous, a regular size bowl is easily two meals for me. The staff here is friendly, the fish is fresh, the location is right across the street from the beach, and they serve beer here too. What's not to love?“

The freshness in flavors, everything perfectly cooked, char grilled proteins and veggie skewers 🫠🫠🫠 I used to eat here every day when the original place was in San Marcos but I do not mind driving down a little more for my fix.
