“Amazing food!!! We got a few things on the menu today. We got the firebird , cali dip , kids meal chicken nuggets . Let’s start with the firebird .. amazing sweet and spicy taste with big nice pickles to maintain the heat overall recommend this sandwich . The Cali Dip was delicious sweet and so much flavor I’d have to say one of the best “Tortas” I ever ate . The fries are the best !!! Sauces are so yummy. Everything was about $47 but SO WORTH IT!“

“Good clean simple food. Not too salty, definitely not the best place to get tacos in san diego, but it seems like really clean, simple ingredients. I would definitely eat here again. If youare on a low sodium diet or have restrictions, this place is a safe bet“

“The App was really easy to use, with friendly staff available to assist. I came in when it was empty so I'm sure it's a different story on Thursdays. I did ask for utensils but didn't recieve it in the bag but it wasn't the end of the world or anything“

“Stopped by The Melt at Del Mar Highlands and was thoroughly impressed. The BBQ Bacon MeltBurger was juicy with a perfect balance of smoky bacon and tangy sauce. The garlic parmesan fries were crispy and flavorful, making them a great side. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're in the area and craving a satisfying meal, The Melt is a solid choice.“

“Being aware of the 20 minute wait for the chicken, we ordered our sandwiches in advance and picked them up. The sandwiches were well worth the wait. The chicken is cooked up fresh and juicy and coated with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. Easily the best fried chicken sandwiches in the area. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but with chicken this good, it does not to have to be. We will be back to explore the interesting menu!
Edit: Back again to try the kimchi fried rice. Another WOW!“

“I ordered the 2 piece meal with brocolli, pinto beans, and corn tortillas. I had a side of the avocado hot sauce and the red hot sauce. The chicken was tender and moist, not dry, flavorful, and well marinated. The broccoli was not overcooked and soggy but steamed just right with a little bit of crisp to it. My pinto beans had a great flavor with a little bit of a spicy kick, which I love.The cashier was attentive and engaging. He was polite and had a smile when saying hi and bye. The speed of service was amazing, as they cut my chicken and got my meal to me quickly. Great experience at this location!“

“I went to pollo loco san Marcos location as soon as walked in the welcome me with big smile on the employees face they keep up good prices still ESMERALDA served me with great attituded creating great atmosphere she was over my speciation i really congratulated this location for they quality food and service to customers“

“This was by far the best chicken I've ever had in San Diego I mean you just can't beat this place from the service to the heat of the chicken to the crispiness to the flavor it comes with oh boy this is my favorite time of year is coming to eat here. Don't waste any time and get your butt down here enjoy some chicken“
