“Came here on Labor Day morning for breakfast. The place is nice and cozy inside. It was busy but I got seated quickly. The staff are friendly.
I ordered eggs, sausage and potatoes with whole wheat toast. The food came out at a pretty descent time. The food was good. It was breakfast, I didn’t order much. They do have a decent amount of stuff on the menu. Definitely will be back.“

“At this cash only joint, the coffee refills are flowing, the staff is SO friendly, and Teddy himself can be found behind the counter every morning. This place is iconic and the food is fresh and delicious. Standouts are their huevos rancheros (delicious), hot cakes, chili omelette and tuna melt. They also bake all their baked goods fresh every morning. My favorite diner in LA!“

“Great Home Style breakfast. The biscuits and gravy is really good, and my husband loves the steak burrito. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. A must try for breakfast. Remember though they only accept Cash but there is a ATM across the street at a Chase Bank.“

From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. The staff @ Cafe 50’s take pride in their customer service & establishment and they deserve all the recognition! You have our family’s support for life Cafe 50’s! We would ❤️ to support you, supporting the local community!“

“Theresa was excellent all around. I came into the restaurant to dine in for a air conditioned environment because it was over 100 degrees outside as I was waiting for the tow truck to arrive for my car parked just outside the parking lot.
Theresa was sweet, hospitable, warm and just gave all around great service. Thank you so much!“

“I got the luxe breakfast burrito. I had it about 6 or 7 years ago and don't remember it being as humongous and tasty as it was. 17 bucks and change after tax. Well worth it! I got about two thirds through it and had to ask for a to go container. Honestly the BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had. They have a wide menu of options. If you're in Westwood village DO NOT snooze on this place. Absolutely fantastic!“

“Stopped by for some breakfast at this location last Sunday and was greeted by a server named Norma. She was very welcoming, attentive, and even recommended some new items we had not tried yet. Food was out right away and everything was delicious. My family and I had a wonderful experience and will be back soon. Thanks Norma and Denny’s for an awesome breakfast!“

“Denny’s is a pleasant place to eat. I like the ambiance and it’s very clean. Great food and great server 🥰 My server is MARISSA. She let me seat with a friendly smile 😊 then a few minutes she came back and ask my order and drink 🍹 my ordered food 🥞🥗came out quickly, hot, delicious and satisfied 👍. Marissa walked by frequently to check on me and ask if I need something or order something. She always make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend MARISSA for a reward due to her skills, a hard working server, and a great asset to this DENNY’s restaurant. To sum up, I will come again and enjoy my food.“

“This place is the worst unless you also have small screaming children, or you're deaf because all you hear is the scraping of the chairs, none stop! Customer service is very iffy, at best. Left with a headache from the racket.“
