“this was my grandfather's favorite place for 40 years. grandma is British so thought the "chips" were really French fries! The family are scattered around the US, but always stop at Wendy's when they are in town. Can recommend this cafe if you are in the area.“

“Went there twice during our 2 day trip. Biscuits are amazing. Maxie was our server, and she remembered us when we returned! She was very sweet, and the owner came out and chatted with us about the history of the restaurant.“

“Came here on Labor Day morning for breakfast. The place is nice and cozy inside. It was busy but I got seated quickly. The staff are friendly.
I ordered eggs, sausage and potatoes with whole wheat toast. The food came out at a pretty descent time. The food was good. It was breakfast, I didn’t order much. They do have a decent amount of stuff on the menu. Definitely will be back.“

“At this cash only joint, the coffee refills are flowing, the staff is SO friendly, and Teddy himself can be found behind the counter every morning. This place is iconic and the food is fresh and delicious. Standouts are their huevos rancheros (delicious), hot cakes, chili omelette and tuna melt. They also bake all their baked goods fresh every morning. My favorite diner in LA!“

“Great Home Style breakfast. The biscuits and gravy is really good, and my husband loves the steak burrito. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. A must try for breakfast. Remember though they only accept Cash but there is a ATM across the street at a Chase Bank.“

“On a mini-vacay and My wife found this place some how. The service was great and the food was better! So flavorful and appropriately filling. After eating we made our way to Venice beach and walked 8k+ steps according to our watches. We only snacked on a cotton candy &Arizona Tea (Don’t judge 😁😳)... just go and eat at Ronnie’s!!!“

From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. The staff @ Cafe 50’s take pride in their customer service & establishment and they deserve all the recognition! You have our family’s support for life Cafe 50’s! “Was just acosted in a store at Westfield Culver City at on a Tuesday afternoon est. 3p; Stemmed over a minor misunderstanding involving a teen girl and a mirror that grew into a gang of teen girls, all dressed alike, hunting me down and threatening me. I had to be escorted to my car by security. I do hope Westfield Culver City is NOT becoming the gang infested den it was as Fox Hills mall. I will NOT be visiting Westfield Culver City/Fox Hills Mall anytime soon. I'll drive a little farther for a safer shopping option.“

“Iggy's has some the best tasting fries I've had. And, I love fries. Everything we ordered good. And, the price is right!
Vegetarian options: I had an egg and potato breakfast burrito at lunchtime; it tasted good, well seasoned no need for anything else. Everything we ordered there was good.

“I got the luxe breakfast burrito. I had it about 6 or 7 years ago and don't remember it being as humongous and tasty as it was. 17 bucks and change after tax. Well worth it! I got about two thirds through it and had to ask for a to go container. Honestly the BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had. They have a wide menu of options. If you're in Westwood village DO NOT snooze on this place. Absolutely fantastic!“

“Love this place and sad they will be closing the building which is a historic landmark for a while...not sure if they will reopen it as Dinah's in the future..so many memories there my hubby asked me out in this booth and it is where our love story began many decades ago.“
