I ordered the vegetable pad Thai with no traditional broccoli, only Chinese broccoli and the order was correct and hot. I

am usually a 7 out of 10 on the American spicy scale so I ordered “medium spicy” and asked for extra but I didn’t need it, it was the perfect amount of spice for me so know it runs a bit higher on the scale.

The vegetables were clearly fresh and cooked to a light crunch. The flavor was there but I’m a bit of a tough crowd as I’ve been to Thailand and it’s difficult to find it’s equal. One thing, I’ve never seen the noodles orange like that, curious what made them that color.“

“I recently tried Kyoto Paitan Ramen last week and Curry Ramen this week at this spot. The Kyoto Paitan Ramen was good, but I was really impressed by the Curry Ramen. It wasn’t very spicy, but it was packed with flavor. I prefer thicker noodles, so I’d love to see that option next time. Overall, a great experience!“

“​I walked into Maru Ramen a broken man. I was tired, I was hungry, and honestly, I was starting to question all my life choices. Then, the bowl of ramen arrived.
​It wasn't just food; it was a religious experience. The broth... oh, the broth... was clearly simmered using the tears of a thousand happy deities. The noodles were so perfectly al dente, I think they whispered secrets of the universe to me. And the pork? The pork transcended the physical realm. I'm pretty sure I heard Enya singing softly as I took the first bite.
​I don't know who is running that kitchen, but they are clearly wizards, and they owe us all nothing. This isn't a meal; it's a personality transplant. I left Maru feeling like I could run a marathon, solve world peace, and probably parallel park perfectly on the first try.
​Warning: Do not eat this ramen if you have anything important scheduled immediately afterward, because you will spend the next hour staring blissfully into the middle distance, wondering how anything else in your life could possibly matter now.

“What an amazing restaurant. My wife placed an order late at night. Typically I wont order if the restaurant is about to close but it was the highest rated restaurant open until 9pm. I arrived 10 min past closing and they still took care of us. The broth was amazing. I would highly recommend the filet mignon pho (rare). “Came here yesterday for the first time after visiting the Thai market across the street. We had a beef noodle soup and a Thai curry pizza, they were both really great! I think I'll like their marinara sauce pizza more because the onions were a looooot for me. But if you love onions, this is the place!!!The pizza dough and crust was just ? great. Soft, pillowy. Definitely recommended.The beef noodle soup was great too!!! The perfect touch of sweetness and spiciness. Super flavorful. And the folks here were super welcoming and nice! “In my book, this is the best Teriyaki chicken in the valley, maybe even Los Angeles. I have done dine in and take out, both situations yielding the same great food. The meals have great portions. But the teriyaki chicken and rice is the best. The chicken is never dry and always grilled with their terrific teriyaki sauce. It never tastes like it's been sitting on the grill for an hour, it's always fresh. Absolutely worth your time if you are a lover of good teriyaki.“

“I love eating here! The service is always so awesome. I love that it's tucked away, and every time I've brought someone to eat here they don't expect that the restaurant is here. As for the food, it's DELICIOUS! My son is picky, and even he couldn't deny how good the food is. The ramen is amazing, it's so good and the portions are hearty. I usually end up getting a ramen combo with a chashu bowl. Now, I get to eat there AND have delicious leftovers. My family have tried other ramen places around and we keep coming back to Futaba because it's number one in our eyes. The flavor is always on point. Definitely recommend.“

He was able to substitute the item for me without issue. When I arrived, he confirmed my whole order for me and visually showed me that everything was there. Portions and quality were great. My favorite was the Mongolian beef. Would definitely come back, especially for a good lunch special!“

“The only reason I’m reducing a star is because this place doesn’t sell Thai food anymore. I found them on Google thinking that my kids can get Thai noodles and I can enjoy the sushi. They need to update their profile here as it’s deceiving.

“This was our first time dining here, and we were genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone was very attentive throughout our visit and checked in multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our meal.

The food was outstanding — full of flavor, well-cooked, and served in generous portions. We ordered Pad See Ew, Khua Kai, Wonton Soup, Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli, and the Yellow Curry. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. It easily fed our family of four, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home.

If you’re craving truly authentic Thai food, this spot is definitely worth a visit. There was plenty of street parking available, and they also have additional parking behind the restaurant, which is super convenient.

I hate to write a review for this restaurant because it’s the best kept secret on the westside and I’m afraid the word will get out and I’ll lose my little slice of Japanese food heaven. I’ve been going to Taiko for well over 20 years and the quality of food, cozy atmosphere and exceptional service has always been fantastic and keeps getting better. The garlic edamame is a must starter and the pumpkin tempura roll is addictive. The broth in the hot Kake bowls has always been perfect and the Udon and Soba are always fresh. They only have 4 or 5 small tables outside but they always go the extra mile to make sure there is a heater nearby on a chilly night. If you decide to get take-out you won’t be disappointed as every single item is wrapped with care and portions are equal to eating in. When I got Covid one winter this was the only take-out I could stomach and it made my heart sing. Service is always above and beyond.

They just raised their prices (2025) but still competitive. ENJOY!“

“Decent place for Pho. Service was ok. Food came out very fast, but the waitress didnt speak much English and didnt understand my questions regarding my dietary restrictions with dairy. Also she never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything. I had to wave down the manager to get a to go container.

I order the #1 pho. It was good, one of the meats I didn't care for the taste at all. The rest of the meats were really good to good. Ordered the shrimp and pork spring role. It had no flavor and didnt taste any pork at all. All I saw was shrimp. Order the taro smoothie and wanted Boba, but she said no more boba. The taro smoothing was very good.

Also the pricing I thought was very fair. Paying was a bit strange. You dont get the bill you just walk up to the cashier and hand her your credit card, you dont get handed a bill. Very weird and I highly recommend changing your paying system. It's 2025 servers should have a portable kiosk for us to tap our card or phone to pay and see our bill before paying of course.
