“We loved the authentic noodles and warm hospitality. Our lovely server also recommended me to drink the Tenth degree ginjo instead of regular sake, which I liked a lot.“

“The food is great! I think when we got there a group of people walked in so it was a little slow for service. Parking was pretty easy and the atmosphere is just simple nothing fancy but the food is amazing I highly recommend and would go back!“

“Guys! This place is definitely the real thing! Real Chinese food thing!
The young lady is so patient and kind. Kinda feel bad slowing down the line when I had a lot of questions about the menu..
I had the Chicken noodles with cumin seasoning and it’s awesome! I bet the fried rice is good too! Coming back for it for sure~“

“Pretty good! The dan dan noodle tasted great. The wonton soup was okay and the beef roll was a little lacking on meat. The Taiwanese sausage seemed a bit small for $7 but was pretty good.
Overall very reasonable prices and the food is pretty decent.“

“Just LOVED my street noodles. They were spicy even though I ordered them mild. Fresh noodles are THE BEST!“
“They have a sign in front that advertises $7 chow mein, which totally got my friend. It was definitely a heaping portion still of noodles with a good Thai chili kick. I split it into two meals still (although I probably don’t eat a lot compared to a lot of people). A bit greasy and I wish there was more veg. It was savory but not overly salty.
I felt like it was missing a little bit of nuance in its sweetness but I can’t pin what was missing. There was definitely still MSG because I was thirsty after, so that’s not what it was missing.
The free bone broth is really refreshing (reminds me of sullungtang) and a good way to either start or end your meal.“

“Arrived near closing time but decided to try it. There was metered street parking a short distance from the place. Located in Santa Monica (Montana Ave.) it was small but cozy. The owner was welcoming as I entered. I ordered the shrimp & pork spring rolls and the Pho Ga (shredded chicken). Definitely a bit too much food but I was satisfied with everything. I would definitely stop by again to try their Banh Mi or Bowls.“

“Came for a quick dinner bite. Food was tasty and service was efficient. Easy dine out option for kids. Curry ramen is unique, and actually goes well with the karaage. Egg yolk in ramen wasn't runny. Karaage sando was tasty and a good value.“

“This place is a gem, tucked away 6 walking minutes from the Pantages. If you're a true dumpling, shumai and long bao fan, your taste buds need not walk any further. The explosion of flavors will make you want to come back. Make sure you also try the Lychee Lemonade, the scallion pancakes and the tomato and egg noodles. An A+ all around!“

“As jjamppong lover, it’s hard to find a good place in K-town. But this place makes a pretty solid jjamppong and jjajangmyeon among the Chinese restaurants around.
The jjajangmyeon is a bit sweet, but the noodles are pleasantly chewy. The jjamppong broth and ingredients are good. For now, this is the spot I’d choose to go. The downside is having to pay for $2 for parking.“

“I fear that sometimes, we all give high ratings to vegan restaurants, despite their being less than great, just to be encouraging for the team. This place, however, is legit amazing. Flavorful, fresh, and a wonderful, genuine bowl of noodles. If you’re on the fence, wondering about the authenticity of all of the glowing Redwhite Boneless reviews, I would just give it a try.“

“One of the best Thai food I had in LA. We had a group of 9 and the servers were very accommodating to get us a table. The food was awesome- we ordered Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Box of Prawns, Rainbow rice, crusted Salmon and Hot Mermaid. The food came out quickly and the service was great.“

“We had a wonderful experience here!! Service was 10/10 and they helped make my friend’s birthday memorable. The ramen is delicious - not too salty or oily or heavy, and the broth is super tasty. This establishment has a rich history; ask the servers!
Thank you to Mija, our server, for an amazing experience!“

“Ambiance: a bright, clean, nicely adorned establishment, with a striking painting as a feature wall...the wait and serving staff definitely contributed to the overall ambiance... Service: as with the many other reviewers, our experience was very similar with respect to the service, as our server was knowledgeable, friendly, competent, helpful, and attentive...did I say friendly...definitely one of the elements we will take away from the evening... Food: on the recommendation of our server, who was very helpful, knowledgable, friendly, and attentive, we ordered the Takoyaki and our server's favourite Spicy Garlic Pork Shoyu Ramen x 2. The latter was described as a "spicy soy sauce tonkatsu broth with garlic is served with two slices of chashu pork, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, egg, fried onions, seaweed, green onions, and buttered corn". I absolutely love ramen, and, to me, what defines any bowl is the soup base, described by a very learned chef as "an intensely porky, opaque pale broth with a sticky-lipped intensity, with the rich, buttery texture of light cream; the best sports tiny nubbins of fat swimming around on their surface, a slick of mayu (black garlic oil) or chile-sesame paste, a handful of thin-sliced green onions, a soft-yolked soy-sauce tinged egg, and a few slices of meltingly tender chashu pork belly". The broth definitely reflected the events described, and the many hours spent in preparation, with a rich texture and flavour, complemented, but not over-powered by either the chili nor the garlic. It was a wonderful recommendation that we would order again! All in all, the evening that left us very satisfied in terms of having our hunger sated, and taste buds quite happy... the true test is whether we return, and, should we find ourselves back in the city, we would most definitely make a return trip to try other dishes!!“

“One of several new malatang places in the area, Bruin Bowl is not a large place, but they seem to have a solid selection of meats, veggies, noodles, and seafood despite their modest size. Both the bone broth and the chicken/fish maw soup bases are pretty tasty too. Excellent option if you're in the area.“

“My Favorite Thai Restaurant. They serve authentic, freshly made Thai Food. Some of the entrees are not in a lot Of Thai Retairant like the Shrimp Paste Rice or the Stewed Leg Rice. Service is friendly and felt sincere. They also have premade Thai food that’s very authentic. This place is such an underrated hidden gem.“

“A must-stop whenever I'm in the Valley. LaVo specializes in Thai fusion pizzas. The Thai Curry Chicken and Pad Kapao Gai (Spicy Basil Chicken) are standouts, and the Tom Yum Pizza is worth trying too. Spice is adjustable, which is great for groups with varying tastes. They also have a full Thai menu with a solid range of noodle dishes if pizza isn't your thing. Consistently excellent.“

“Yummy hotpot from here hits the spot, especially for late-night study breaks. Broth leans sour and spicy in a good way, heavy flavor, kind of addictive, like you just keep fishing for another bite. Fair price for students, portions decent, tbh works for my broke student budget. Good for one-person meals, I just ordered, ate while watching lectures, and it stayed warm. Delivery came on time, nothing spilled, packaging simple but solid. Night snack go-to in this college area, especially for heavy-flavor lovers and international students missing that kind of taste.“

“A small place tucked away in a plaza. The restaurant was quiet with regulars that chatted with the staff. I got dumpling soup. I chose the combo option for kimchi and beef dumplings. We also got sujebi with sweet pumpkin dough flakes. The dumpling soup was very flavorful and had many toppings, including egg, seaweed shreds, and green onion. The amount was quite good for its price. The sujebi was very rich and starchy. The banchan was good as well.“

“My friend and I came to DTLA Ramen late Monday afternoon in order to wait out the traffic and have an early dinner, and lucky for us, we got in on the last hour of Happy Hour (weekdays 3pm-6pm), so we got $2 off our Ramen and $1 off our salted Edamame.
The Edamame was pretty good, although not too out of the ordinary even with the salt.
Our Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, however, was savory, albeit not that spicy even though my friend got the Spicy (she rated it 4/10 in spiciness) ) and I got the Extra Spicy (6/10 in spiciness). So if you love it even hotter, don't be afraid to ask for even more heat.
The Chashu pork slices were nicely thick and charred, soaking up the broth while maintaining just enough crispiness. Both the broth and the noodle were also thick and delicious, giving you plenty of flavor with every slurp.
If there was something I felt lacking, it would be to have a bit more flair to the taste, since everything is a little one note and not a lot of depth and texture in the flavor. But that's OK, it was tasty as it was so we still ended up satisfied!“

“The Pho is enough for 2 people and it's delicious! We have had both the chicken and the Wagu beef. Also, the rice plates with fried rice and either Wagu beef or spicy pork is really good. We get one of each (Pho and rice plate) and share. We are quite full and satisfied when we finish! And the prices are very reasonable.“

“The best ramen in Culver City! I first had Ippudo in New York over a decade ago went it was arguable the top ramen spot in the entire city. Since then I’ve had it in Tokyo and now am so glad to have here in Culver. The Akamaru Modern is still as excellent and balanced a bowl as it’s always been.“

“Absolutely fantastic place!
My first time and I was greeted by the sweetest cashier helping me choose what I want and what specials are available.
I chose a pad Thai with shrimp and a Thai tea to drink.
The Thai tea was rich, creamy, and not to sweet and perfect to cool down the spiciness from the hot sauce.
And that pad thai - WOW. It's one of the more unique pad thai I've had, it's a tad sweet so the hot sauce helps balance it out, and it's a very rich and noodle-focused dish. The shrimp were a tad overcooked but still tasty and juicy. I loved the juiciness of the noodles too without it being a swamp of sauce.
I will definitely need to come back!!“

“We only found this place because we were looking for a bathroom & stumbled upon a gem. It was our first time trying ramyun & it was just wow! I ordered the creamy ramen with pork belly & my sister ordered the katsu for take out. I really like that they line the takeout container with foil to keep the food warm. The katsu sauce was thick & savory,, the chicken was crunchy & juicy, & they give a large portion of rice. The sweet corn & coleslaw help to balance out the rich katsu sauce. The ramen tasted kind of like carbonara with a kick. The pork belly was cut up into 6 small triangle pieces. I can't wait to to eat in next time! There's a small parking lot in front, but we found street parking.“

“When my husband and I arrived we checked in an there was an hour waiting time. We still chose to wait around patiently. We finally got called to our seats, the waitress was very friendly and explain the menu. It is hard to read the menu because the lights are super deemed. We use our phone light in order to be able to read the menu items. Overall I enjoyed my husband's company & the pasta was delicious.“

“Ordered Uber eats because I love the rustic spoon! I was a little disappointed with the amount of chicken in the dish that was delivered. Seem more like noodles and noodles with a sprinkling of carrots, cabbage and egg. The flavor was delicious! Maybe it was just the day. But I’m still looking for the cluck.😁“
