“Delicious and authentic ramen. But the wait was way tooo long… I didn’t read about the long wait in the reviews, so I think I should share my experience. I didn’t expect to go there and wait for an hour outside the ramen shop…. That plaza has no interesting shops to hang out, so it’s quite boring and cold in November. Btw it’s a Saturday night. We have only 2 people, but we waited 1 hour….

“Excellent tacos, and a plentiful number of vegetarian options, some of the most flavorful tacos I've had. Each taco is about 5$ and 2-3 is typically enough for one person.

Ample indoor and outdoor seating and quick service, very glad I found this place, and can't wait to go back.“

“It was about noon as I left my Doctors office and feeling a little hungry. I say Pegah’s Kitchen next door and gave it a try. The staff were all very professional. I had their Italian omelette and if I had to rate it on a one to 10 scale with 10 being the best, I would give it a 12. This is the Vista location. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch, as they are not open for dinner.“

“I was going to a concert at a theatre at the Escondido Center tor the Arts last night. I decided to have an early dinner since I was driving from the coast. I had just been to the Brigantine in Imperial beach for lunch a few weeks prior, and was reminded how much I liked their fish Taco plate ! So once I discovered there was a Brig in Escondido I was prepared to order the same thing I had at lunch in IB. Then I looked at the dinner menu on line and discovered it was not on the menu 😩 but I mentioned it to the server - and she said “ I can get that for you” I even ordered the spicy passionfruit margarita too! I was so happy! The Brigantine in Del Mar has always been a fave- at the bar- and outside of racing/county fair season and on shelter Island- and it's great atmosphere and food make it a great place to eat!“

“If you love French-style wines, especially Rhône varietals, you’ll definitely want to check this place out. The wines are amazing, and the whole vibe is relaxed and welcoming.

The setting is gorgeous, with a big patio full of tables and umbrellas. They often have live music, which makes it a fun spot to hang out. They sell great snacks like charcuterie packs, crackers, olives, almonds, and chocolate in the tasting room and there's usually a food vendor on-site.

One of the highlights of visiting is Stevie, one of the wine pourers. She’s super friendly, down to earth, and really knows her stuff when it comes to their wines. She makes the tasting experience fun and approachable, even if you’re not a wine expert.

The owners, Lynn and Mark, are also incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell they love sharing their beautiful property with others. It’s dog-friendly, too! You’ll often see their own dogs wandering around, and they even have horses and pigs.

Domaine Artefact is a great place to relax, sip some fantastic wine, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I highly recommended it and look forward to going back again and again.“

“I was there for an event the other night. I let the staff at the front know that I was vegan in case I should have to order something different from the set menu. But they were so kind and accommodating, they made me my very own veggie platter. Everything was so delicious too! I will definitely be back for dinner. Restaurants that go above and beyond like this definitely leave an impression on me. Thank you for they delicious veggie platter and kind service.

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu. The Hummus is a must! Very creamy and delicious.“

“Wow, vegetarian of 10+ years. I just moved to Esco and saw this on uber eats. I’m genuinely blown away, not only is the food SO GOOD, but the fact that you don’t have to worry about cross contamination or getting meat accidentally, is so nice. The packaging is so cute, AND my husband who’s very not vegetarian, really enjoyed it too which is such a surprise, he got the Nashville chicken sandwich. Wish I took a pic of the food but my chonky self was too excited. I will say it is pricey but rightfully so!“

“This is an amazing winery. Stumbled upon this gem after spending the day at the Safari Zoo Park. Wonderful wines (didn’t taste a bad one and hard to choose a favorite) and ambiance. “I had high hopes for Huckleberry’s—this was our first time visiting, and my husband and I love exploring new breakfast spots. Breakfast is one of our favorite meals of the day, so we were excited to try it out.

The experience started off well. Our waiter was friendly and attentive at first, but unfortunately, he didn’t check on us again until we had to flag him down for drink refills. That lack of follow-up really affected our overall impression.

When the food arrived, it didn’t come out all together. My husband and I got our plates first, but his potatoes were cold and his English muffin wasn’t toasted at all. My son’s meal—chicken tenders and fries—arrived much later than ours.

On the bright side, I really enjoyed my meal. I had the Bananas Foster with scrambled eggs and fried green tomatoes—everything was absolutely delicious. But it was disappointing to see my husband, who was looking forward to the meal, not enjoy his due to cold food and poor preparation.

Overall, while there were a few highlights, the inconsistent service and food quality—especially the cold plate—make it unlikely that we’ll return. There’s just no excuse for food coming out cold.“

“The Menu here is a bit of a challenge if it's you 1st time here. I went here because i went to the movies at the Regal. The food was good but not something i would rave to friends about so i could only give 4 stars. Service was good and fast but maybe because i dont speak spanish i felt lik they could really care less that i was eating there. I got Fish tacos and one had multiple pieces like the fish broke apart, but the second one was much better. One piece of fish, Super crunchy and lots of sauce cabbage and Salsa. This was my 1st time here and i will try the Veggie Burrito next time to see if its a better value.“

“Trying to contact the owner. Owner, when will you be at the restaurant?? Thank you. Sadly the on floor manager, Nick, now claiming to be the owner in today's conversation, will not honor a gift card our friend bought for us a few months back. Nick is very agressive, harsh, and sadly not a good face for this amazing restaurant. Our family has been eatting here for 3 generations ever since they opened. We have watched several sets of family member take over operating this family business, and have loved ever member prior. However, Nick is an unfortunate one. With a gift card receipt stating Nick's name, he denies selling a gift card to anyone but one person. Nick has unfortunately ruined our favorite family restaurant. If the real owner ever reads this, I hope we can work something out. My recommendation, eat somewhere else. Its not worth the gruff service and the potential to get screwed. :/“
