“Great service, friendly atmosphere, cold beers and good company! This is part of our road trip with the final destination being Cache Creek!“
“Gorgeous setting, wonderful attentive staff. Such a pleasure to have Lane stop by our table and chat. Red wines are hearty. Lovely crisp white wines. This was a last minute decision to burn a little time (pun intended haha!) before heading to the Sac airport. Definitely coming back!“
“Our experience at this steakhouse was nothing short of excellent. Really nice place with delicious food! My G/F ordered a steak that was prepared to perfection! I ordered the most delicious and juicy porkchop I've ever had. Our sides were just as impressive; broccolini, garlic mash potatoes and sauté mushrooms!!! Definitely a hidden gem. Our host Zack Shoemaker was very attentive and had amazing recommendations. Highly recommend.“
“It’s not a buffet anymore. It’s like a sit and order restaurant though you order your entree when you enter and pay. Probably a good idea to decide ahead of time what you would like. Different. Your choices are 12 oz Rib eye, 8 oz NY Steak, Chicken, Salmon or Mongolian BBQ. All meals come with mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans. Don’t know if you can substitute for fries or baked potato. You can have all the salad, soup or dessert you want as it is self serve. The waitress/waiter will ask you when you are ready for your meal and bring it to your table. I found it to be unusual at first. I don’t think the buffet is coming back soon. I expect a renovation and possibly a food court of sorts. Service was quick. Prime rib was huge and looked very delicious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. NY Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Mongolian BBQ looked excellent and plentiful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. With the high ceiling it is difficult to create a “private” space to enjoy your meal but I guess something needed to be done to utilize this space. I think it was worth the price and will definitely return to try the prime rib next.“
“Enso Review: A Flavor Jackpot 🎰🍣
If you go to Enso for anything, go for the Wagyu Gyoza. Hands down the best gyoza I’ve ever tasted—juicy, rich, and impressively oversized. I’m an avid sushi lover and still found myself wishing I’d ordered a second plate of the Wagyu gyoza. It’s easily the star of the menu.
A close runner-up is the Scallop & Crab Duo Appetizer—a perfectly balanced bite that makes you stop mid-conversation. And for dessert? The Green Tea Ice Cream surprisingly stole third place. We devoured three plates without shame.
On the noodle side, the Wok-Fried Yakisoba was fine—not bad, but not the kind of dish you dream about later.
Now for the rolls: the Jackpot Roll lives up to its name. My party of three unanimously crowned it the best roll of the night. The Scallop Roll, however, missed the mark—the scallop just wasn’t good. The Salmon Lover roll was average, and the Salmon Teriyaki Bowl landed in the “decent but not memorable” category.
Bottom line: Go for the Wagyu Gyoza, scallop & crab duo, and the Jackpot Roll—those two alone can turn an Enso visit into a win.“

“Asian restaurant located in the Cache Creek Casino. It can get busy during the weekends and it helps to make a reservation. Service is ok, depends who your server is. Food is also just ok, we get a variety of things depending on if we want bangus, eggplant, fried rice, walnut shrimp, soup, or noodles. They take comps so it’s bang for your buck. Or you can also order to go.“
