“We visited for the first time for my birthday and I was delighted with my experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and interesting in a very pleasent way. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. It was authentic and very well prepared. The portions were generous to say the least. The menus selction is very large and features a wide variety of seafoods offered in many styles. The terrestial offerings are just as numerous and vaired. The aqua fresca was fresh made and delicious. The enitre meal was excellent!We will be returning often with friends and family.”

“Got the burrito oaxaqueño and it was on the best burrito I have had in Humboldt. Tasted very home made and made me feel great all day! Horchata was also very refreshing and creamy, definitely worth trying. Huge fan of their salsa, i might see if I can get a drink size cup of the salsa next time I go!”

“I love the Donut Mill. Not only do they have amazing donuts, but they also have amazing pastries and drinks! I love their croissants, especially the ham and cheese one. They have great prices and great service. Very friendly people. I love how I can drive up or go inside. 10/10 recommend!”

“A great place to get high quality meals "like mama makes em". The servers are always so friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. There are several food restrictions in my family and they are always mindful. The lighting and comfort level are perfect during a rainy day; did I mention their coffee? Never had a bad coffee from them, and I'm picky. Perfectly priced, I usually share a meal with my partner since their portions are so big. One of our favorite spots in Fortuna!”

“We loved itWe ordered and split a few items and we were very happy with everything we tried.I ordered the Garanchas, I'm not usually one for ordering ground beef as a meat option, but everything was very well seasoned and the portion was generous, we all enjoyed them.We got two tamales, the Chicken Masa and Chuchitos. The Chicken Masa was so fluffy and moist and the Chuchitos was cooked perfectly as well, and for $3.50, you can't beat it. Then we got a plate of three papusas, one of our favorite foods. We got cheese and jalapenos, pork and cheese, and a plain bean papusa. They were cooked nice and crispy on the outside, not too doughy, not too greasy, perfect masa to filling ratio and the curtido was fresh and crisp with the perfect amount of oregano (a lot ?).We ordered some tres leches to-go, so I'm not sure how it tastes, but it looks beautiful, topped with a strawberry drizzle ?I would definitely recommend stopping in and giving it a try whether you're familiar with Latin American food or not!”

“A nice place with a beautiful natural wood bar. Lots, and I mean a lot, of specialty craft beer. I got there late after work, an hour until close. Bartender was pleasant and helpful. I'll have to explore a little more next time, as there is a back patio area and possibly non-alcoholic options.”

“Good food from Good people. My kids and I love coming here because it has a family atmosphere. The owners are always welcoming and their food is so delicious- from the spam musubi to the cheese puffs to the brocolli beef to their shaved ice- always on point. It was hard to replace Amy Delight's friendly service but Island Delight is the perfect place to continue the home like vibe restaurant at this location.”

“Love this food truck! It has become a weekly taco Tuesday spot after our discovery of their street tacos...mmmm...carne asada...mmm! They also make a spectacular chili relleno which you don't often see at a food truck. It is puffy and cheesy but not greasy. Better than most brick-n-mortar establishments!”

Everything we’ve had is really tasty, from the stir fry ginger chicken, to the whole fried fish, the lok lak (beef), the mee kaitang and the papaya salad. “Many taps, all for brews made on site, with everything good. Nice ambiance. Cool massive counter made by Alchemy Construction where you can get comfortable and get to know your neighbors. It has the feel of a neighborhood bar (and it’s in my ‘hood). I’ll definitely be back.”

“First of all we got there 5 minutes before they closed and they still let me and my husband and 2 of our kids stay. I had the burger and homemade onion rings they were so good. One of the best burgers I've had in a while and, my husband had linguica with eggs, potatoes and gluten free toast, he really enjoyed his too. My boys had French toast breakfast and my 8 year old son had chicken sandwich with veggie soup, he loved his sandwich, he said I give them 5 stars! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, cloth napkins, breakfast served all day! Would definitely come back when in the area!”
