40 Best Barbeque Restaurants near Fontana

“So I was celebrating New Year's Day in Fontana with family but there wasn't very many bbq places open near us. There was however Richard's BBQ nearby, and I like to try new things, so I gave him a call and he said he was smoking up some pork ribs and was selling meals with ribs, homemade beans and corn for $20. I decided to buy a few plates and we were all pleasantly surprised at just how good the ribs were. The ribs were fresh and hot and fall off the bone tender just how I like it. The beans were also tasty, more savory than the typical sweet style of beans you usually get at most restaurants. The beans were meaty, and I could taste some spice mixed in. It was very flavorful and hearty, but not overbearing like chili beans, it was very good and the savoriness was an excellent accent to the meat. The meals also came with corn on the cob, steamed perfectly by the way, and a little container of barbecue sauce On the side. It was a hearty and delicious meal. I will add that Richard packed everything perfectly in the containers, there are major restaurants that can’t do as good as a job as he did. I will definitely be going back.

“I feel like ever time I come here its packed, which is great for the business but the wait is numbing. I noticed the other day that there was only 1 chef so I can't get too upset but it's just frustrating. Theu need to hire more people to work there because the wait is always obscene. Other than that, the food is great and the premise is clean.“

“Aloha K is amazing! The food is great, the portions are huge, and the folks that run the place are one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet! Even a mini meal could fill you up. I love the chicken katsu with curry sauce on the side and don’t forget to get a side of spam musubi.“

“For the most part very friendly service though when they're super busy they have a tendency to forget your order. Large menu and lots of drink options from the fridge if you want more mainland Chinese beverages that are harder to find in a local 99 ranch or so. Also the portions are huge for how much food you get especially in this economy and especially considering it's Riverside (I've found riverside to be more expensive for lower quality food compared to being in West LA, some parts of the bay, lots of places). The skewers with chicken heart don't knock it til you try it it's super flavorful. They also have a big beef hotpot kind of dish which could probably feed two very hungry big guys or the large for only $5 or so can feed probably 4-5 average people.

Vegetarian options: Kind of limited

“Cool spot located in a relaxed group of food spots and beer garden style vibe. But it's EXPENSIVE. The food is great but I can't afford $30 lunch. A lunch that I order at a counter then my name is called and I go up to and get myself. I'm not pretending to be from HI but plate lunch style food was working people's food. Not CEO's food. I will go back when I win the lottery.

Parking: Fire place outside. I went during the day but it must be fun at night to hang out.

Smoker Brisket, BBQ Ribs and Rib-Tips, Link Sausage, Chicken, And Beef Dino Ribs, Potato Salad, Mac n' Cheese, Greens, Baked Beans, Scrumptious Desserts of Peach Cobbler and Banana pudding, and much more.. My Coworkers and I had an Office Lunch for 55 people, with nearly 6-7 lbs of everything. We ate off and on throughout the day, and are ready to run it back.. Great Food and equally great service.. “Got the combo meal with bulgogi and pork soondubu soup. Overall a decent meal. The portions were hearty so definitely get money’s worth. The bulgogi was pretty good, probably the highlight. The side dishes were below average and as you can see only 3 side dishes. The soondubu soup was a bit bland. Flavour wasn’t bad but tasted a little watered down.“

“Our first time there, and also a first time KBBQ experience for one in our party. Service was great, Anthony was our server and had good menu recommendations for us. He checked in with us often enough on our meat orders and getting our grill changed out. We went with the Premium option and got to try all the good stuff. “One of my favorite kbbq places! If you’re coming on a weekend make sure to come a little earlier to join the waitlist, it can get very packed sometimes. They’re typically not too busy though during the week. They also have plenty of parking most of the time.
They recently had a price increase but they added a lot more items to their menu. It’s still an affordable price range and worth it for their food. I’m obsessed with their miso soup & love coming here specifically for their curry pork belly. They have specials on the soju sometimes where it's buy one get one free. The staff is always so attentive and nice. :)“
