“I recently visited RoyalTea Boba in Grand Terrace and had an amazing experience! This family-owned shop has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a must-visit in the area. One highlight was the special boba milk tea they made for me—it was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the boba pearls had just the right texture.

Another unique feature is their merchandise area, where I found instant bubble tea kits. I bought one to try making boba tea at home with my family. While our homemade version didn't quite match RoyalTea's perfection, it was a fun project.
The shop is beautifully decorated, and the shelves are stocked with various boba tea flavors and kits. It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into every aspect of this business.

“Great HaloHalo! I really enjoyed it even after I received it through delivery. Came in a large cup with all the good mixings and layers of shaved ice, milk (your choice of 2% or oat), various sweetened beans, jellys, tapioca pearls, fruits and topped off with a scoop of ube ice cream.

Chicken adobo bomb has a flaky crust similar to a croissant on the outside filled with shredded chicken seasoned as adobo. It wasn’t bad. I enjoyed this flavored bomb better than the corned beef bomb.

Corned beef bomb is the same crust as above. The inside is just corn beef and potatoes. I found the corned beef to be lacking flavor and it just tasted plain overall. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either? It was just meh.

I really enjoyed their crinkle cookies. I order strawberry and lemon. It was bigger than I thought they would be. I loved how the cookie was crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the middle. It was super good coated with powdered sugar.

I was excited to try their guava strudel as I love the guava rolls from Portos. These ones from Kape were amazing. I love that they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust to give it a bit more crunch.

Ube cupcake with the flan on top wasn’t quite hitting for me. The cupcake itself was really dry and the flan is not flan without the caramel sauce. You can taste the ube, but the cupcake itself received was really dry.“

“It an adorable place, the decor is lovely and the music is calming. Definently, recommend Le Moulin Rouge (salmon with creamy sauce crepe), it was delicious! We also had Desserts: Favorite crepe and Nutella crepe with strawberries. The strawberry tasted fresh sweet and sour which paired well with the sweet sauces.

“This was our first time visiting this restaurant. They were very friendly and we were able to be seated quickly even though the place was pretty full. I had the two tacos lunch, my husband had the chorizo and eggs, and our granddaughter ordered the carne asada wet burrito. Our food was good and plentiful. We can tell by the beans and rice if it’s a good restaurant and this certainly is very good. The beans and rice were delicious. I only wish that the taco shells were fried there rather than being too crunchy for my taste. Other than that, we will definitely return as soon as we can for more good food.“

“Great place for a girls night out. Great margaritas, good service, great vibe. We sat in a booth near the bar which was hopping but not too loud so you could actually have a conversation. There are multiple rooms in this large restaurant, and each room has a different vibe. Probably the prettiest room in the largest room that has a fireplace in the center. If I went back, I would want to sit there for a change, but you cannot order tacos in that room. Tacos were solid. Not as good as Guisados (sorry) but tasty and there were lots of options, including fish and vegetarian. The tacos were also probably the most affordable item on the menu. The churros were REALLY good. The chocolate empanadas sound better than they taste, but maybe I'm just not a chocolate empanada girl. Everyone who worked there was super nice and accommodating. The waitress gave us excellent recommendations. She could have checked in with us a bit more, but her friendly smile and great attitude made up for that. For a restaurant on Rodeo Drive, there was no attitude or pretension. I would definitely go back!“

There's a young woman with a crappy attitude. If I ask if there's a spoon in the bag, it's like I'm personally offending her. Yet! I've had them forget my spoon several times. Then there's the super friendly cashier that forgot to check the bag and notice half my order is missing.
