They handled the various dietary needs with ease and it was all clearly marked. Everyone was raving about the food and asked for their business cards! “What a classic sandwich shop! I ordered the sleeper on Dutch crunch! It was huge and I see why it’s called the sleeper! I took half home and ate half there, the lady was kind to warm half of it, but I think it might be better cold. Plenty of seating inside and I was surprised the have a hot grill section as well! For a sandwich less than $20 this spot is definitely a deal! I’ll be back to try some of the hot grill selection next 💯“

“New York Pizza in Palo Alto is, in my opinion, the best pizza in the Bay Area. The taste of their pizzas is absolutely delightful, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The staff is just amazing, so attentive, friendly, and always ready to serve and make sure you’re satisfied. I love dining in, but their delivery service is also fantastic. “Delicious food for decades, family owned! We are never disappointed with this small, friendly restaurant. It is not a chain restaurant, has been around for many years, which must say something. Give it a try if you’re in the mood for some quick, delicious Mediterranean food!“

“Wow! I am really impressed by the gelato here. I popped by on a whim and I’m honestly blown away by how clean their gelato tastes. Their gelato isn’t heavily flavored or give off that icky artificial sweet after taste, so if you’re used to baskin robbins this place is not for you. However, if you are (a) looking for a sweet treat that doesn’t make you feel guilty or crummy afterwards or (b) Asian (“not too sweet” is our ultimate compliment after all) then run don’t walk!! I tried their chestnut flavor and their ube flavor. The ube was just right with a light ube taste, toasted coconut, and a hint of vanilla. The gelato was not a ghastly fake purple color. I’ve never been able to finish a whole cone of ice cream/gelato before because it always ends up overwhelmingly sweet, but the gelato here was just too good! I’m going to recommend this spot to all my friends.“

“Came in for the first time and ordered two sandwiches. One, the Pastrami, the other roast beef, both with cheddar and everything on it. The habanero sauce is fire. The ravioli plates. All looked amazing. I gotta go back for some of that action. This might be my new favorite spot.“

“WOW, porchetta sammie in the Castro? Ridiculously delicious, like you need to order. Not traditional italian porchetta slices of meat, but even better, chunky cuts of buttery tender goodness. Solid smoke aroma and taste without being overbearing. You get a slight tang of the vinegar mop, but again, not overbearing or distracting. We also ordered smashburgers and those were good, but for me the star was the pork.

I'd like to try the trio sampler or go full on into the pastrami on rye! I hear the pizza square is also pretty tasty.

Great addition to the Castro! Finally, great food options and Johnnie's is absolutely a destination! It's true passion people, when you love what you do (BBQ/Smoke meats), it shows! Keep the que going! Best in the city!“

“I went into Steve’s Cafe & Catering alone and honestly wasn’t even sure what to order at first. The staff immediately made the experience comfortable by asking thoughtful questions about what I liked and helping guide me toward the Parmesan chicken sandwich — which ended up being incredible.

It was fresh, flavorful, and so good that my girlfriend even ate vegetables she normally doesn’t enjoy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt welcoming and supportive, especially as a new customer. You can tell they genuinely care about helping people have a good experience, not just making a sale. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

By the way, the brownies made my girlfriends eyes roll hehehe, I highly recommend Steve's Cafe & Catering“

“Kasa has beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area with a heart. The decor is gorgeous with pretty details sprinkled around. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. It is inspired by the recipes of the founder's grandmother and it is delicious. I love the chai there and love that they have a chai kit. They also have a location in Castro, San Francisco with its own unique decor and very friendly staff. Thank you Kasa for sharing your food and beauty with the Bay Area.“

“Absolutely delicious food. Daniel knows how to make the most flavorful, juicy, and authentic tacos I've had. It's a food truck parked on Woodside Road next to the Safeway parking lot. The Crispy Barbacoa tacos are to die for. They're served with fresh salsas and consome to dip your tacos into. Support this restaurant and enjoy.“

“We've been enjoying True's delicious Ethiopian cooking for 5 years now, ever since we found out this catering company does take-out orders on the weekend. We used to have to trek up to SF or San Jose, but once we found True we've never looked back. The food is absolutely delicious and packaged individually so it's easy to save leftovers. Our young kids love the Kik Alitcha (yellow lentils) and Gomen (collards), willingly eating their vegetables. I love all the vegan options, especially the salad! I am a salad lover, and the Green Salad hits the spot every time.

When rain threatened our latest outdoor event, Pamela assured me everything could be moved indoors quickly if needed. “Boneyard catered our wedding and all of the guests were pleased. The chicken, pulled pork, and brisket were true to form -- what you'd expect from a *good* BBQ joint in Texas. The staff (Rich and his family) were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. Sides were delectable, the iced tea was perfect, and all leftovers were boxed up at the end. Needless to say, we enjoyed the leftovers. Highly recommended.“
