“7 Leaves is my go-to for milk tea. This place is beautiful when you walk in, absolutely love the theme.

They have a huge variety of flavors for macarons and milk tea, plus lots of other drinks are served too. My favorite is the Taro milk tea.
The drinks and macarons are very flavorful. A lot of other milk tea I have from different places tastes more watery than the tea at 7 Leaves, they do an excellent job with their drinks.

However the macarons are a little bit out of the expected price range, but still worth trying out!

The service is very nice and hardworking, keeping the place clean, and most importantly, having customers leave satisfied!“

We always come late when items are sold out so can’t comment on their food. Except for the pop corn chicken, it has the right amount of spice and crispness.

This place is spacious inside and filled with students. Their drinks are consistent. Be sure to look at the app for their “shh..” menu which is their secret menu. I always get Tea-Tex which is mung bean with matcha.“

They have a band which plays karaoke on weekends. The music and musicians are great, and so many guests are eager to sing! The only thing I could ask for would be for the volume of speakers to be turned down slightly. For those who enjoy a calmer dining experience, the tables inside are a pleasure.“

“Stopped in this cafe on a whim today and was so happy I did. I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection. The sourdough was amazingly good, crisp and chewy, and the eggs were fluffy. The staff was so friendly and nice and the pricing was very reasonable. Wished I took photos but it was too good and I ate it so fast! Highly recommend this spot.“

“I love this place! Discovered it last year while vacationing in Newport. They have the yummiest freshest farm fresh food. Last night We had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, curry chicken sandwich and Drunken noodles. Probably the best burger I have ever had! “One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! “I’ve been to this location several times, and they consistently deliver. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and with the newly remodeled bar, it’s the perfect spot to hang out and sip on something good.

Their breakfast selection is solid. I always go for the avocado toast, it’s a favorite of mine, especially because they bake their own bread. It’s so fresh and flavorful! This time, I also tried the seasonal banana matcha latte. It was a bit on the sweet side for me, but still enjoyable.

My boyfriend ordered the buttermilk biscuit & egg sandwich and a vanilla latte both were a hit. They also have an impressive coffee selection and several locations to choose from, which is a bonus. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making the experience even better.

“Yes yes, another Country/Chicken Fried Steak breakfast 😋 this time at the mom & pop shop Sunny Side Cafe in Seal Beach. They took over a defunct Denny's and are making it their own.

They served some of the darkest orange egg yolks I've yet to see at a diner/cafe. Super dark orange eggs yolks usually signify the hen had a diet rich in carotenoids, which are pigments found in plants like marigolds, alfalfa, and other foraged foods. They were deliciously sticky. And instead of a toast option, they bring you a homemade biscuit, halved, then griddled on the cut side (nice touch) and served with heavily cinnamoned whipped butter.

The stand out for me were the hash browns, nicely crispy yet tender within and I'm fairly certain they were flat topped using clarified butter. They were incredibly delicious just on their own.

Friendly service rounded out a very nice meal. It's barley 10 min from home so I'll definitely be back.“
