“The food is very good, inside is cozy, the staff were very friendly, and they got all our big order correct. Prices have gone up a little, but if you only eat here once every few months, then it doesn't feel so expensive. Plus, the portions are big, so we always get two meals out of the one order.“

“Sun China is my go-to spot for Chinese food in Sanger! I’ve been here several times for lunch, and their lunch specials are always a great deal. Most recently, I had the orange chicken lunch special—it was fantastic. The chicken was flavorful, the portion was generous, and it came with a delicious soup that hit the spot.

“Overall very underrated Chinese food, the wait time is practically nonexistent, the owners are one of the best people you’ll ever meet, food is made with care and you can taste it. This is the very definition of fast food and surprisingly still made at a high standard. My only critique is the decor which is not appealing but who cares when you’re served great food in record time, I will definitely return.“

“I loved this place. I have recently moved to the area and tried it's near by restaurant. Amazing! The food is delicious, huge portions. Big plus for me is the customer service. The owners are so helpful and attentive. This place is so clean! I always look at the air vents not a spot of dust. I couldn't smell the oil they fried with. So this place is overall it for me!“

“I love the classic old timer atmospere here.

But the food leaves a bit to be desired. The fried rice was on par with some of the Chinese buffets in Fresno which is not a compliment. Just ok in flavor and somewhat dry, compared to the 1st tier fried rice at Chong's or New China Cafe Fresno, or, 1.5 tier fried rice at Sakura Chaya. Definitely working with an old recipe that could be improved. While not too many places do top notch fried rice, the portion was not exactly generous..

The sweet and sour pork is the classic 1st gen imagination of Americanized Chinese food. You already know the taste when you see the cherry red sweet sauce. This is a very nostalgic taste although not 1st tier like Imperial Garden's.

However given the fair pricing and the nostalgic taste that some people might want, 3.8 stars out of 5.“

“This place is a gem. The food came out so fast and they were so family friendly! Gave my boys coloring books and were so easy going and naturally made us feel welcome and comfortable. Plus the food was amazing! We live an hour away and I would make the drive just for the food.“
