“The Xinantecatl Restaurant arose on our horizon after a week of backpacking in the Sierras. I'm sure it wasn't only the contrast with rehydrated camping food while slapping hummingbird-sized mosquitoes. But this place is the real deal! Each person in our five person party descended into reverential silence while enjoying fajitas, salad with steak, camarones a la veracruzana (spicy and savory) and camarones a la diablo (SPICY and savory). Meals were served with hot corn tortillas following complimentary excellent thick cut tortilla chips and both red and tomatillo salsas, both tangy and yummy. The man who greeted us was also the chef and waiter, a charming guy on top of talented and efficient cook and cultural translator (ask him what the restaurant name means!).  Complimentary ice creams were his final gift as we departed home to the showers he never let on knowing that we needed.  I'll be back for sure whenever I'm in town!“

“The food and service was great. We had the philly cheesesteak sandwich with beer cheese on the side and a chicken BLT. They were both delicious. Their fries are also very good. Crispy and nicely seasoned. It is a smaller place with a bar, better for a date or lunch/dinner with a small group of friends. It is loud and not really “kid friendly” unless you only have like one kid. There is a great kids menu, its just the setting isnt the best for children. I had their house wine, it was very smooth and delicious!“

The food is reasonably priced, for the amount of food that you get. The food is delicious every time. Everything on the menu is delicious! I would highly recommend the Breakfast House. They make the best Belgian waffles in town and they use fresh strawberries, whipped cream and cinnamon sugar dust! The bacon is crispy and savory and the eggs are fluffy and rich. The crepe eggs Florentine were delicious as well! They also have a full bar, so you can enjoy a mimosa with your brunch!“

For not reason, other then you ordering your sub, the way YOU want it.The pizza(s) are take & bake & everyone's oven, Cooks different. That's the only issue with the pizza(s), but my rating does NOT reflect on that issue.My rating is based off the STAFF as mentioned above & sub quality is 90% on point. “Food is always fresh and the line goes quick even during busy hours. Most of the staff are friendly although some can sound a little rude but that’s because they’re busy all the time. Most of the time my order comes out correct but there was one time where they made a mistake, make sure to confirm they got your order correctly when they repeat your order to you. Overall still better than some other In-N-Outs; any In-N-Out you go to though will be an excellent experience 99.9% of the time!

Vegetarian options: Ask them for a “Grilled Cheese”, basically a cheeseburger without the meat patty (cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions of your choice, spread sauce, toasted buns). Like any other burger and their fries, you can get it “Animal Style”, with pickles, grilled onions, and extra spread sauce. Their Fries are fried in 100% sunflower oil. Remember to ask for a side of banana peppers if you like a little heat/tanginess with your meal!

Kid-friendliness: They have paper hats for kids to wear.

“It was my first time here. I seen it on TikTok and I wanted to try them out. Just a disclaimer that they only take cash and they are incredibly busy but the food and service was great! It’s a small restaurant but it’s mighty in its own way. They’re affordable and the portions are generous. I think two maybe three ppl can share off one plate of chow mein. I actually ordered a beef noodle soup. I was craving a nice, hot, hearty soup and it didn’t disappoint. I’m coming back again to try more of their dishes.“
