However I’m disappointed in the food quality and portion size I been coming here for years and the consistency isn’t there. I ordered 3 pineapple fried rice with beef and honestly the rice has no sauce very bland and the beef you have to dig to find a piece. In the whole plate it was 19.99 and there was 4 pieces of beef like come on. I’m paying 20 for just rice no sides no vegetables and barely any protein. My bill was 70$ and ended up cooking steak at home to add on top of the rice. And that’s not considering the quality of the beef they use it’s very chewy and low grade.“

“My first visit to Nava Thai Cuisine was a delightful experience, guided by the staff's super friendly recommendations. Walking in, I felt welcomed, and the service was quick—my food was ready in just about 10 minutes, which is fantastic for a dine-in or takeout order.
The staff suggested a few favorites, and I settled on the Chicken and Vegetables with a medium spice level, and an order of the Fried Tofu.
The Fried Tofu was definitely a highlight. The portion was generous, and the texture was incredible—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tasted almost like a savory donut! It was accompanied by two flavorful dipping sauces: a rich garlic dipping sauce and a vibrant spicy sauce, which elevated the dish perfectly.
The Chicken and Vegetables was tasty and the medium spice had a nice kick without being overwhelming. My only minor wish is that the portion size was slightly larger, as I found it to be a little on the small side. However, the freshness of the ingredients and the warm, friendly service more than made up for this small detail.
Overall, Nava Thai Cuisine offers a good experience with fantastic staff and standout dishes like their fried tofu. I would recommend this place, especially if you're looking for fast, friendly service and a great appetizer“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

- Really nice level of heat (I ordered it very spicy), and there were no Thai chili pepper pods I had to fish out, so that's good, and they provided extra ground Thai chilis on the side. 👍👍
- fresh mushrooms, not canned, good amount 👍👍
- heat, sourness, amazingly delicious tasting broth, hint of sweetness to contrast the bold hot and sour flavors. All the wonderful tastes melded together, lime, cilantro, galangal, lemon grass, so completely developed and full flavored 👍👍 👍
- giant shrimp, tails on, so tender and delicious and lots of them. 👍👍👍
Bottom line, I've been hunting for the best Tom Yum in SoCal, and I have found it at Royal Thai Orchid. I was settling before, now, never more. Makes me REALLY want to taste their other menu items. Just ordered Tom Yum for the 4th time in the past week (yes, I am obsessed and yes, it's that good), but this time I ordered some stuffed chicken wings as well. Will be amazing I'm sure. 😁“

“Thai food in this neighborhood have all fallen for some reason, and I thank this place for opening to pick up where they lack. I think it's great they came into a location that has very mediocre Thai restaurants around with decent ambiance but low quality food. Instead of focusing on a dine in experience, this place is all about delicious Thai take out.
The drunken pad noodles and spaghetti are great and Thai level spicy.
The pineapple fried rice is also delicious.

“Very kind gesture today with the Brea Father's Day car show event - a very sweet lady waitress probably helped save my 85 year old fathers life today on Father's Day. “I ordered the Chicken pad thai (Medium Spice) not thai level spice so if I do come back, definitely getting spicy with extra spice on the side. The space inside makes you feel like you're transported back to Thailand (there was a cab in the front of the menu screen) and limited seating, a couple of tables outside. Overall rating, 4.6 stars for me, I know google doesn't give me the options for the point six. The pad thai was really good, not too mushy, chicken not over done and love that they added the Vietnamese chives ( hẹ) and bean sprouts along with peanuts, gives an extra crunch in every bite. “Everytime we come to Yorbalinda we have to stop by the Bangkok house Thai, serves one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had even my 3 year old loves it!! We usually order the same, wonton soup, shrimp chow mein and yellow curry this time we order orange chicken and OMYYYY LORD best decision of my life!!! It was crunchy, chicken was soft not too much sauce but definitely not dry. Just perfect.

“Have been picking up takeout from this neighborhood staple for 26 years and I know people who have been eating here since 1990. D Thai Chinese is apparently a one-woman operation; the owner takes orders, cooks, serves etc. all by herself, and she is so sweet and friendly.
I can only respect how D Thai's prices remain lower than other Thai/Chinese places in the area, although the prices have been raised in the last year or so (two dollars up per lunch and dinner special). The quality of the food however has remained reliably good, fresh cooked to order, and flavorful. I don't know enough about Chinese or Thai cooking to comment on how authentic it is, but it's pretty good in my opinion and that's what matters most to me.
I've tried most of the menu over the years and the standouts to me are the fried rice, thai basil chicken, mongolian beef, beef salads, and pad see ew. The majority of the menu is four stars, but those are the five star items in my experience.
Be advised, cash only and takeout only! For what it is -- a takeout Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- D Thai is a respectable local treat that I will allow myself pretty regularly within my budget. Since the owner lady is so likeable and impressive, and the food is plentiful and decent quality for your dollar, I have to rate this place five stars overall.

I have always judged a Thai restaurant by their Tom kha kai. The first time I had it here I knew I was in for some good Thai. “Friday 3/28/25 Dinner at Fire Tiger Thai Food in Whittier with my friends Erwin and Victoria. Enjoying a wonderful dinner together after a hard day’s work. We ordered Shrimp pad Thai, fire tiger wings, seven sea soup, crying tiger, and mango sticky rice. The foods were so delicious and savory and a good size portion. Not salty, not too spicy, just right to taste with all the herbs and spices.

Nikki, service staff, was super nice and work diligently to serve all the customers.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated with flowers and was cleaned.

I recommend trying this restaurant.

It’s been a minute since my last visit, so I was surprised to discover that they relocated from their previous Santa Ana location into the 4th Street Market. I parked at a nearby meter but according to their website, there are two parking structures off of 4th and 5th Streets that offer the first 2 hours free!

I recommend making it a combo with the Chicken & Rice which includes 2 choices of protein, soup and vegetables. My go-to protein choices are Hainanese Chicken and Crispy Chicken, so I get to enjoy the best of both worlds! The combo includes a choice of signature ginger rice or steamed rice, but you can choose brown rice (+$1) or sticky rice (+$2) for an additional charge. They also allow their customers to select 2 sauces from 8 different options. The Ginger Chicken Oil is a nice complement to the Hainanese Chicken and I enjoyed dipping the Crispy Chicken in their Spicy Soybean Chili Ginger sauce. If you’re a Hainan Chicken fan like I am, The Chicken Rice is a must try!“
