“Its a simple little bakery, but the food was delicios. I went there for rhe cream puffs that were highly recomended on internet, after reading a list of the 10 best bakeries in OC that AAA sent me. They run out of stuffed breads between 2 and 3 pm“

“Take out bakery spot in garden grove. Quite busy for a little bakery thats tucked away and hidden in a small strip mall. Must have tremendous wordof mouth as you would not ever accidentally find this place.
If the non vietnamese community even tried a couple of the items in this place there would be a long line out the door. Ive had many of the treats in vietnam and other places in garden grove. So its nothing new. But they make everything very well. Go and randomly pick anything on the counter or behind the display case and you will not be disappointed. The only disappointment you will feel is not getting more while you were there.
Please do youself a favor and go here and try everything. So good“
“My sisters and I love this place. Their bánh mi đặc biệt is soooo tasty and the sauce in the bánh mi is sooo goood and different from many of the sandwich shops I’ve eaten before. Their sponge cake with salted yolk also very light but tasty as well. Don't forget to grab their delicious mini bánh bao on your way out. My kids love it so much we always have boxes in the freezer. Overall, the quality of foods here are superb. Great customer service as well. Highly recommended“

“It was so yummy! I ordered two large trays this week — one for my aunt and one for myself.
This is what we call a healthy rice cake. It’s made with Jeju Island mugwort, chestnuts, almonds/peanuts, squash, and several kinds of beans with sweet rice.
I tried one first for my aunt, and it was so good. Everything is individually packed, which makes it perfect for a quick meal or a healthy snack.
The service was great too. The owner, Philip, was very kind and explained everything so well.
I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for healthy and delicious snacks/meals.“

“surprisingly quality brownie? decadent like the name but never crossing into that cloying-heavy chocolate of sickly-sweet territory; dangerously easy to eat. just the prices seem to run higher at this spot so the indulgence is taxed but given the higher quality compared to some other bakery chains, its a lovely sweet-treat spot.“

“This place has minimalistic decor that’s bright and simple. They have very unique drink flavors and they offer cold brew, matcha and Einspänner, which I don’t see so often. It’s a Viennese drink that I drank every day when I was in Vienna and Europe where the top layer is a really thick whipped sweetened cream. But nowadays, it translate to any drink topped with this thick sweetened cream on any type of drink not just espresso.
I got strawberry matcha latte for myself and picked up ice pistachio latte, biscoff cookie butter latte and strawberry lemonade for the family.
The strawberry matcha latte has been the best matcha I’ve had by far. It’s nutty not grassy or bitter so you know it’s not low grade, yet it’s bold and strong. The strawberry purée was perfect. It wasn’t thick like jam or thin like syrup. It still had the pulp and when you mix it, it didn’t change the matcha taste.
I will need to come back to try their coffee.“

“We dined at Amarith Table last night for the first time and can't wait to tell all of our friends about what a Great Restaurant it is. There is literally something on the menu for everyone. The food is delicious ontop of being all organic. The service was top-notch: friendly & efficient. Every staff member came to our table to introduce themselves and to see how things were. When we left we felt like we were part of The Amarith Family. We cant wait to Come Back...Woohoo!“

“Everything tasted wonderful and exceeded our expectations.
The Christmas cakes are beautifully crafted, full of holiday spirit, and very inviting. The cake texture is soft and moist, with a sweetness that’s perfectly balanced — not too rich or overpowering. The cream is smooth and light, making the cakes enjoyable from the first bite to the last.
The Pastries Box is just as impressive. The bread is fresh and soft, the fillings are flavorful, and the selection is well balanced with pastries and fruit. It’s a great option for a quick meal, breakfast, or sharing during small gatherings. The presentation is clean and well-organized, which makes the experience even better.“
“Accidentally found this hidden gem on Yelp and oh man, hands down the best kimbap I’ve ever had! It’s just a small shop, but their kimbap is absolutely delicious. I rarely leave reviews, but this place really stands out. The auntie and uncle who run it are the sweetest, too. I honestly hope more people discover this spot. I’ve been stopping by every week now—my sister said the same thing, it’s seriously addictive:)“

“I've been visiting this location for a couple years now. I'm mainly there for a quick grab-n-go coffee and sometimes pastries.
Parking: This spot is located in a plaza with a large parking lot. Plenty of parking spots; usually easy to find.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium sized space with booth and table seating. It's a warm setting. It can be studious, but I'd say it's more so a social environment. The tables and seating can use an hourly cleaning. The tables are sticky majority of the time, and the seats have crumbs on them. The pastries and cakes are beautifully displayed along the left side of the wall. It does get empty mid-day and towards the end of day. Not sure how often they restock the pastries, but it could use some work during the day.
Service: It truly depends on who's working. Some workers are nice and efficient while other workers can improve on their professionalism. A few examples: a worker at the register did not say one word, took my order, and that was it. When you order a drink, they usually bring the drink to you. The same worker placed my drink on the table and again, did not say anything. I was looking the other direction and did not realize my drink was on the table. Another worker left mid transaction while I was ordering to assist another customer that rudely cut the line. There's also an inconsistency with how their drinks are made. Again, depending on who's working, your drink can either taste good or bad. There can be a language barrier at times, but majority of them understand and speak English.
Drinks, pastries, & cakes:
Drinks - 99% of my visits are for my coffee fix before work. I enjoy trying their seasonal drinks. I love lattes, and every season I always try the newest latte. Again, depends on who's working, the drink can either taste good or bad. From my experience, majority of the time my drinks come out exactly how I prefer it. Not overly sweet, flavored, and strong with caffeine. Other times, it can be too milky, lack of flavors, or not strong.
Pastries - I love their pastries. Presentation is always on point, and it tastes even better than it looks. The Ham & Cheese, Smoked Sausage Bread, and Curry Croquette are my favorite savory pastries, especially when they're warmed up. Their sweet pastries are fresh and tastes delicious. My go-to is the Strawberry Croissant.
Cakes - The cakes are limited, so I recommend purchasing one asap. The designs are very cute. The variety of flavors are appealing. Their Red Velvet Cake is my family's go-to on occasions. Their Cappuccino Cake is the most decorative and definitely tastes exactly as described. From the cakes we've tried so far, they aren't too dry or overly sweet.
Pricing: Highly recommend joining their rewards app for points and monthly coupons. I only visit when they send out coupons. I really enjoy their pastries, cakes, and drinks. My main star off is for the inconsistent service.“
“Not a lot but plenty of choice of baked goods & cakes. Inside the AR market & food hall with plenty of room for baked goods & cakes and drinks but they have varies type of breads and sizes (portions) for sell. Good service and very reasonable prices and it does tastes good too. Not bad for a small bakery shop that have regular customers that hangout daily there.“

“The name had been around since little Saigon started but this one was added about 2 decades ago, mainly for to go or quick fast food place. Now it's more of seniors hangout for games or lottery with cheap decent coffee and they have outdoor patio overlooking GG street. You can heard the seniors loud conversation or being excited due to game of chess or checkers when you drove by (stopped for red light). The parking can be a hassle since it in a popular stores complex but they do have side parking so it can be okey. There are 2 bus stops on each side of street so most took the bus or walking from their place. Service is okey, not the nicest nor the worst but just what can I get you and okey next! This place is also well known for lottery since they won alot of small or medium prices both for scratcher & lottery. Plenty of decent foods, not great but not the worth, and okey prices. Got the sandwich and the bread is good, crunchy and soft inside...meats are okey. Big portion and very filling. Coffee is okey too. If you want something quick and easy going, this could be the place.“
“This was a fun place to grab some ice cream or dessert after a day of swimming. The staff is kind and quick in getting their customers in and out so the line didn’t take long. We got ice cream but then took some cookies, a brownie and a chocolate mousse ball to go.“

“The service isn’t always the friendliest or best, but the food is cheap and solid. Not the best or tastiest, but pretty good value for money paid.
I’ve tried many of their dessert items and I would say skip on them. The drinks are humongous and great value but not best taste.
I usually only come here for buy 2 get 1 free banh mi. The most recent price is $12 for 3 banh mi.
Drive carefully in the parking lot. This is a notorious plaza for bad drivers and petty thefts.“

“Visited here specifically for their Tres Leches Cake, which is their most popular cake.
Parking: There's a large parking lot with plenty of spots. There's 30 min spots in front of the store too.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space. All the pastries, cakes, and hot items are displayed and labeled. They have plenty of pastries but very limited cakes. There is no seating whatsoever. It's a quick grab-n-go location.
Service: I was warmly greeted by the cashier. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name. She helped me pick out the cake and nicely wrapped it in a box. Some workers speak English, while others only speak Spanish.
Cakes & offerings: All their pastries are decorated beautifully and look delicious. Again, I mainly came for their Tres Leches Cake. Their cakes are 8 inches. Perfect size to feed a family. They offer slices of cakes as well and smaller decorative cakes. Now I know why their Tres Leches Cake is so popular! The cake is absolutely moist and not too sweet! The fruits were fresh. I think it would've been better without the excessive amount of buttercream, but it was easy to scrape off. I really enjoyed this!
Pricing: The cake was $43.67 after taxes. Pretty decent prices compared to supply chain bakeries. Highly recommend their Tres Leches Cake! Will be back to try their pastries!“

“The food here is outstanding! The pate chauds are a MUST TRY! So buttery, flaky, and the chicken filling was WELL SEASONED. And don't get me started on the banh mis. The bread was so soft, and the sandwich was filled with meats, veggies, and flavor! I'm so glad that I walked the wrong direction and found this place. Now I know why it was packed at 7:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning. And the iced coffee was perfection. 😘🤌“

“I love Bake & Che. They have multiple locations now throughout OC and LA. I mainly visit this location because it’s closer to me.
Parking: The parking lot can be frustrating because it can get busy on random days. Finding a spot is a hit or miss.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a small/medium indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. It can get crowded with people waiting around at the pick up counter. It’s a Vietnamese spot, so Vietnamese music will be playing.
Service: The workers are nice, quick, and efficient. They speak English and Vietnamese.
Desserts: I absolutely enjoy all their che. It’s so refreshing! Their bakery items brings back so many memories for me. My favorite is the Pandan. My go-to Che are the Thai, avocado, and house special. Perfect amount of milk and a generous amount of jellies & fruits. My only critique is the cleanliness of the packaging. Every time I received my order, the cup is always sticky. Their Green Thai Tea is the BEST I’ve ever had! The floral and pandan notes definitely came through.
Pricing: It is pretty pricey, but definitely worth it every once in a while! Highly recommend joining their rewards program through the Toast app. They also send out coupons/promotions occasionally.“
