“Every time I visit Westminster, Pho 79 is a must-stop for me. The pho is rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying — you can really taste the depth of the broth and the care that goes into every bowl.

Just a heads up: it’s cash only, so come prepared. Also, the fried chicken is a hidden gem — crispy, juicy, and definitely worth ordering alongside your pho. The sauce with the chicken is the play and takes it to another level. I’m always here when I’m in the area because the quality and consistency never disappoint.

I am definitely looking forward to revisiting this place! The only downside is the waiting time, as the restaurant is frequently crowded and has limited seating.“

“I’ve found myself coming to this spot many times whenever I’m in OC. It’s one of the few places where you can find a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes beyond just pho, which, honestly, a lot of places still don’t get right.

I’ve tried more than six different dishes here, and every single one has been flavorful, delicious, and truly authentic. It tastes just like home.

Some of my favorites are the Bún Mắm, Bánh Hỏi Heo Quay, Bún Riêu, and Hủ Tiếu Mì Khô—all so good and packed with flavor. I don't recommend Bột Chiên tho!

The service is always friendly, and the food comes out quickly, which makes the experience even better.

“Excellent Hu Tieu My Tho soup! We ordered it (kho) dry with the chicken broth and red sauce in the side. This is our new favorite restaurant for Hu Tieu My Tho. The owner is very friendly and eager to get you whatever you need to make you happy. They also have excellent Cafe Sua Da, very creamy and not watered down or bitter. We will definitely come back everytime we are in town.“

“Still a place to go for all the occasional. Just landed from out of country trip and this is the 1st place to go for comfort food. It was raining so perfect to have some hot pho and VNese coffee and Thai tea and orange juice. The place is packed and we waited for 15mins and got a shared table with another group. Easy order with friendly service but waited abit (understandable since it packed) but within 20mins we got our foods. The prices are still the same but I think the noodle is less than b4, I could be wrong but either way, it hit all the right spots in the body. The vibe was great since the smell is just make you feel right at home and with good comfort foods. They do have several table outside on the sidewalk too.“

“The food is so authentic and savory. I love Mi Quang. I would say that is the best Mi Quang that I’ve ever tried in America. The portion is personally little small for me. They also offer free nuoc mat. But 5 stars for the restaurant and definitely recommend!“

“Last week we went down to OC for a conference and we tried this noodle restaurant for lunch and it was great.The price is very reasonable and the place is clean, it even has ac for the hot day.We ordered the large egg noodles special and clear noodles for my wife. It does offer Chinese donuts fried crispy which is perfect with our noodle soups.The service is fast although we’re the fist ones there LOL. My wife was skeptical about this but we tried it anyway.The broth is perfectly seasoned and tasty, not much msg as most of the noodles restaurants around.The bowl looks small but there’s plenty of ingredients inside because the bowl is deep.We enjoyed the soups and we’re glad that we tried it out.“

“It was my first time going to this restaurant and I was surprised to see Jjambbong served. First of all, the portion was large, the noodles were chewy, and the soup was like a thick jjamppong soup.
The downside was that the soup was too hot and there was too much of it, but I ate it well.“

“Tried this place for the 1st time. At the door, you notice the sign that says Military Discount. Thank you for that. Started with Egg Rolls and Spicy Edamame. Great portions, amazing flavors. Sushi had Salmon and it was very good. The ramen was Pork based ans it had a good kick. Good spicy with so much flavor. I gave the 4 stars because they have TV's and I wanted a basketball game. They couldn't change the channels for whatever reason. Asked for the bill and apply the Military Discount on the bill. The discount only applies to the Things I ate/ordered. I was there with my wife so they gave us 2 checks. It was pretty weird but oh well. But that doesn't change the fact that food was great and I want to try more items on the Menu. “The restaurant area is a bit small and you should probably reserve a table before you arrive. But if you have to wait, it's worth it. The food is delicious and very similar to that in Saigon. The only thing is that there are not many parking spaces and sometimes you have to compete with others for parking spaces.

Parking: There is free parking in front of the store, but there are too many cars and you have to compete.“

Intentionally over-ordered so as to have leftovers for folks at home, but could have overeaten and finished everything as it was all so good. Got the spring rolls, crunchy and crabby and delicious, and the crab/shrimp udon, which hit the spot. Others around had plates cooking on their tables—this wasn't the case for me. Also got a jasmine green tea w/ mango jam, so as to begin the caffeination that will get me home tonight :) A 10-minute wait for seating on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm not so bad, but bears mentioning. Probably the most popular restaurant at the Mall of Fortune here.“

The thinly cut beef pho, their main staple was also incredibly tender and tasty.
The egg rolls came out hot and crispy, with great portions for an affordable price.

“We were greeted the moment we walked in, and were offered to seat wherever we prefer.

We ordered 4 mì la cay house special. The server was honest when asked if there would be more meat if we order the large size bowl instead of the regular size. The answer was just more noodle, same meat portion.

The noodles, broth, and meat were just perfect the way we expected. The portion was right for the price, and the price was reasonable compared to other noodle places.

The server, we think she's the owner too, was polite, helpful, and courteous.

“I’m sure this place will get crowded very soon. Come and try it before the waiting time gets long! More and more people are starting to come. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, parking is convenient, and the atmosphere is perfect for families and friends. It’s just perfect!“

“The bun rieu/ crab vermicelli is perfect for a cold or rainy day. plenty of crab cake, a soft shell crab, oc, tofu, fresh veggie, and the flavor is always on point. They have a wide selection of drinks and my favorite is the Thai green tea with foam.“
