“I've been here twice for my fried fish fix! So good. The place doesn't have alot of frills inside, but the menu is clearly available on the wall to order, and your food is prepped quickly!
The portions always have me enjoying it the next day..pop it in my air fryer for that crispy piece of fish and there you go.“

“Small independent restaurant that's admired by locals in the community.
I was on a bike ride and passed by, so I checked out the reviews on Google and walked in.
The lady at the counter was nice,and food is prepared upon completion of order.

There's limited seating inside,but I was able to enjoy the food indoors.

My only grip would be, there was no bike rack for cyclist, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me..

The food was fresh, tasted great and plentiful. And I couldn't finish my meal because it was so much food. I highly recommend this place. The service was good also. “The food was so good, & we ate it so fast, didn't get a picture. But the food was not salty, nor bland. The tartar sauce even was tasty. We ordered the red snapper, reg shrimp, jumbo shrimp, wings. The seafood was not greasy, nicely seasoned. Definitely recommend.“

“It's small and gets crowded at peak hours. I like the chicken. It's slightly different from the other franchises. The french fries are very good. It's cheaper than the bigger franchises. I like that you can choose between drumsticks, thighs, or wings. Mix and match what you want. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Parking: I only go to their restaurant on MLK near the corner of Vermont. But there are more locations.“

“If you're a fan of Louisiana fried chicken this is a quality location. These Louisiana fried chicken places are a dime a dozen in LA but at this location the service and food were outstanding. We came in a few minutes before closing and the owner Rumpol (I probably spelled that wrong) chose to stay open to cook from scratch a batch of chicken. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable explaining the difference in oils and cooking processes. The chicken was some of the best Louisiana fried chicken I've ever had you can taste the quality of grease and the love put into our order. The prices were so reasonable especially as expensive as things can get these days. My only gripe was there wasn't a lot of dine in seating but for the service and food I truly recommend this place.

While looking at the menu there was another customer in there, so I asked about the food. He told us the food was really good. So, we placed our orders and let me tell you all….the food DID NOT DISAPPOINT, but not only did the food NOT disappoint the customer service was EXCELLENT. When she handed our bags I said ooh they heavy (lol). Baby when we popped the container open the presentation spoke volume and for what you get the prices are really good. We couldn’t even pull off without going in and 😋 is all I’m going to say. I hate I didn’t ask her name but she’s the beautiful cook and owner of the establishment (1996). There are not many places you can get great food with great service but this mom and pop establishment definitely did just that. She is really sweet and KNOWS how to cook. “I think most restaurants use some kind of inexpensive fish with the thought that once it's breaded and fried, no one will care. But the Slow Bell's haddock was thick, moist, and cooked just right. The fries were so good bare that I felt guilty using ketchup.“
