We had a cashier server named Tiani. She was so kind to my wife and I, gave us sincere service with a smile and checked on us after we started the grub fest just because.

She also gave us recommendations and insight on the differences between the spices for the chicken

“If you are looking for a showstopping meal to share, this is exactly what to order. My friend and I came in for a late-night dinner and were blown away by how every dish complemented the next.

Start with the Marinated Olives, briny and fragrant with orange, lavender, and garlic confit. The Wild Mexican White Shrimp skewers were bright and tender with preserved lemon vinaigrette, and the Brussels Sprouts with date purée and brown butter were absolutely unforgettable. The Spiced Lamb Bolognese Radiatore was rich, savory, and the perfect way to round out the meal.

Our server was quick, attentive, and made easy adjustments for my friend’s non-dairy restriction without compromising the flavors. Every plate came out beautifully presented and full of flavor.

“If you’re reading this, here’s the short version: this is easily one of the best restaurants in Culver City, and you need to try it now!

It’s a small spot in downtown Culver City that you could walk past without noticing. I’m glad I didn’t. There are a couple of tables outside, but most of the seating is indoors. The space is modern, clean, and relaxing.

We ordered three dishes, all recommended by our waiter. The mussel toast is a must. Every bite is savory and packed with seafood flavor. For mains, we had the short rib and rainbow trout. The short rib was perfection. Cooked over fire and served with crispy potato strings. It’s something you get at high-end steakhouse but at half the price. The rainbow trout looked beautiful and tasted fresh, though the citrus was a bit stronger than I prefer.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the churro and ice cream sandwich. The ice cream (another must try), sourced from a Persian maker, was rich with rose, honey, and pistachio. The presentation was just as impressive. The churros were decent, though I wished they were crispier and the dipping sauce was thicker.

Overall, I’d give this place a solid five stars. The food is close to Michelin quality without the Michelin prices. Go and you won’t be disappointed.“

“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

I came in around 9:45 PM December 16th just a little bit before closing And he was so welcoming I had such a terrible day and he put a smile on my face so big and I forgot all about my problems 10 out of 10 customer service!!!! “Wow. I just put my fork in to pull some chicken meat off and it was so tender the bone popped right out (even though it wasn’t my intent) and came off 100% clean. Unreal.. reminds me of the food back home. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu including the fried eggplant vegan sandwich. We got the lemon chicken, falafel, and fried cauliflower, which is more like a cauliflower steak than florets. Delicious but just an fyi.“

And, the accompanying baba ganoush was very fresh and tasty. David, the chef and owner (along with his wife) is very friendly and welcoming. The chicken included a skewer with one little mushroom, one cherry size tomatoe, a sliver of red bell pepper and a small sliver of red onion. The vegetables kabob was delicious but such a tiny portion. I would have liked a full side of the grilled vegetables (4 skewers) which is not on the menu. Next time I visit I hope they make an exception and allow me to add the extra vegetable kabobs to my order.“
