“This was my first experience here. I’ve heard a lot of good things about their cakes, and I can say it really lived up to the hype! I got Churro de chocolate and churro dulce de leche. I LOVED the chocolate one! It was amazing, and it paired really well with a cup of cold milk. Dulce de leche was so so SO sweet, that’s a reason I was about to give 4 stars. I expected a better blend of tastes for this one, maybe less sugar and sweetness from the cake since dulce de leche is sweet enough. In general, it was great and they really know how to make great cakes.“

Although, my daughter’s instructions was to include red melted chocolate on this rustic/vintage themed cake but they did NOT. I can see why, it would have taken away from the theme. they have such a great eye in designing and captivating one’s imagination . “We ordered the pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It was the best part of our meal!! I've gone through a lot of pecan pies in my life. Always disappointed that the crust doesn't have the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness or that sweet gooey stuff around the pecans is artificial tasting or the pecans don't taste right. This pie is perfect from start to finish. It's made with real butter which I can taste. The pecans seem to be just slightly roasted and there's lots of them. I'm so happy with this place. I'm ready to try their other products. We ordered online and everything worked out perfectly. There's a bit of a line out the door but you have to understand why. It's just really really good. “Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“

“Bought a cake for a going away party for my coworker who moved to Texas. The cake was exactly what I asked for. I had to pickup the cake at a store-front. The store-front is a cafe that belongs to a different business that is partnering with this baker. You have to go inside and let them know you are there to pickup your cake. The cafe store-frint sells good food and drink too, and the customer service was excellent.“

“You should stop by this kiosk, they have several locations in Los Angeles, we’ve been to all of them depending on where we are ?. All the cupcakes taste exactly the same no matter which location you purchase them from. There are over a dozen flavors to choose from ( lemon meringue, chocolate marshmallow, triple cinnamon, banana, s’mores, lemon bar, strawberry, chocolate, confetti to name a few) but less options from the kiosk.“

“Cute Temptation”

I once wondered what the difference was between cupcakes and muffins.
A muffin is a cupcake-shaped cake, and cupcakes are always decorated with sweet icing on top. So cupcakes can create artistic and diverse beauties.

Most of America's famous cupcakes have their own unique characteristics. It is loved for its beauty. Of course, taste is also important (in fact, famous restaurants have very good taste).

Sprinkles is the most famous cupcake brand in the LA area. In addition to the Grove Mall branch here, you can find it at Beverly Grove, Downtown LA, and Glendale Americana Mall.
What's interesting is that you can sometimes see this house's cupcake vending machine... It's a really novel idea, and it might be fun to find it in Beverly Hills and try it out.

The circle decoration that is the symbol of this house is very pretty.
Unlike other cupcakes, it has a cute concept, so it has the magic of making you want to adopt a puppy and take it home haha.

Like most American cupcakes, they are very sweet.
It may be too much for those who are sensitive to sweet tastes, but when you eat it, you will feel the combination of American sweetness and soft cake sheet. I tried red velvet and s’mores...
I liked the softness of the red velvet, which was of a higher standard than any other restaurant in Korea (strangely, red velvet in Korea doesn't live up to its name haha, it should be as soft as velvet...), and the s'mores had the taste of marshmallows in the cake, just like making real s'mores. The hidden bitterness of the dark chocolate balances the taste.
