This was my first order from Van, and I was pretty sure it would be tasty and satisfy my expectations because they wrote: "Under New Management!" “This is a mocha filled cake. I brought these fresh flowers 1 day before the event. Although, my daughter’s instructions was to include red melted chocolate on this rustic/vintage themed cake but they did NOT. I can see why, it would have taken away from the theme. they have such a great eye in designing and captivating one’s imagination . They delivered the cake on time and the extra flowers were also returned. Definitely, recommend to friends and families!“

“We ordered the pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It was the best part of our meal!! I've gone through a lot of pecan pies in my life. Always disappointed that the crust doesn't have the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness or that sweet gooey stuff around the pecans is artificial tasting or the pecans don't taste right. This pie is perfect from start to finish. It's made with real butter which I can taste. The pecans seem to be just slightly roasted and there's lots of them. I'm so happy with this place. I'm ready to try their other products. We ordered online and everything worked out perfectly. There's a bit of a line out the door but you have to understand why. It's just really really good. I cannot eat a pecan pie from anywhere else at this point. Thank you, Susiecakes!!“

“Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“

“I can’t say enough great things! I went out on a limb and called Valentine Sweets. I live in New York, however my brother lives in Pasadena! I was doing a gender reveal for my friends and family in New York and wanted my brother to be included. I called early in the morning and spoke to the decorator Tatiana. I explained I needed one single custom gender reveal cupcake and she had no issues with the request or making it happen! A simple cute vanilla cupcake. Decorated with blue and pink sprinkles. And surprise pink frosting in the middle! She had the cupcake done within a couple hours for my brother to pick up! She had great communication and texted me when it was ready. Besides the fact that it was adorable,
My brother said it was delicious! I am upset I don’t live local myself to try it! Amazing service and communication. I can’t recommend enough for special occasions!“

“Well for first time going it’s cute and simple. Everything about it is my favorite, the staff the drinks the snacks and food, get their bread all the time and haven’t really switched up from here because the options are new and not common at other Korean bakeries! Give it a shot!“

“What an absolute gem this shop is. We had our wedding cake made by Pastries by Nancy & oh boy it did not disappoint. When we had to go try cakes from different vendors, all we could talk about was the cakes from this shop. The owner was also very helpful & knowledgeable about the cakes & what could & wouldn’t work. I remember being most excited to have cake at the wedding more than the other parts of the wedding! We love their cake so much we are going to come back for a slice every year on our anniversary.“

“Disappointed to say the least the ice cream wasn’t made properly, the employee was least bothered to even ask what I wanted. It felt like so much pressure to just ask for a sample and decide if I wanted that, the loud music made it so hard to hear the person and for the person to actually even listen. Wanted to take it to go but wasn’t even asked if I wanted that and felt forever to ask for a lid. Not to mention the ice cream literally has no toppings except the m&ms paid more than $10 to get nothing but a bad tasting ice cream.
Edit: The manager followed up and was kind enough understanding the situation and offered to make the ice cream and make it right. That was really sweet and I appreciate that since I got the ice cream after a few days from my initial visit and she remembered me, also gave me the sample for churro ice cream!! Made my experience better“

“I called from out of state to have a cake delivered to my parents for their anniversary. They made sure everything was handled perfectly and that the delivery went seamlessly. My parents LOVED the cake. Will absolutely be back! Couldn’t recommend them more!“

“Five stars for the woman who worked there on Saturday. She made me my oreo, sweet cream and sprinkles on top. In a waffle cup. Kind of pricey but it hit the spot. Some women spotted me with my ice cream and commented on how good it looked. I told them where I got it. Little did they know how much effort I went through to get it. Ie all the driving and talking to other Cold Stones to find the best store.“
