But when I took the food back to have the error corrected I was met with a swift resolution, hot delicious tacos and even a free soda for my troubles. “What a gem...hands down the best elotes l've ever had!! The corn man is super nice and super fast at pumping out Elote via cob or bowl. There was probably 20+ people ahead of me with multiple orders but it only took 25 minutes to get through since he's so efficient. It can be so amazingly rich and heavy for some folks but this is what you're coming for! A guilty pleasure ruminating in cheese, mayo and liquid butter and corn. I prefer the bowl over the cob since it's much easier to eat. I also recommend getting two at once so u don't have to wait in line again and it's so cheap. 100% recommend!“

“I was kind of craving a hot dog and since I was leaving lowe's and I always see this place.I Thought, you know what I'll stop by.
Ordered one chili cheese hot dog. I'll tell you.It was a good hot dog.The bread was nice and soft and toasted.The hot dog cut in the middle, nice toppings. Had it with the bottle coke, it became my dinner really quick.
Maybe next I'll try the pastrami one day.

“We ordered 4 Taiyakis for only $12. Then the owner was so sweet! She offered a 5th one for free. Got our fresh Taiyakis after pager rang quickly! All flavors were great: Red bean, apple, custard cream, mango, and chocolate filling within freshly baked crunchy shells. We almost wanted to order another round if we were not on the way of leaving Little Tokyo Market. Must try again next time!

Kid-friendliness: The fresh fish shaped Taiyaki tastes much better than the frozen one kids usually get in stores.“

“The taco 5y10 is what you come here for. It’s delicious! The freshly handmade yellow corn tortilla is delicious and soft. I got the taco de cabeza which is would highly recommend. The fattiness of the cabeza complements the black bean filling of the taco, both in flavor and texture. My fiancé ordered the taco de al pastor which was also good but we both agreed the cabeza was better. One taco 5y10 is bigger than any burrito, so one is more than enough. They cut the taco in half so that it fits in the styrofoam box, so if you’re interested in trying different meats, brining a friend, each other a different meat and swap halves. Also, the agua de horchata is delicious! Definitely homemade, not from a packet.“

That’s enough to set this place apart from the tens of other tacos spots using low-quality tortillas. The tortilla should not be an after thought, folks! Second, the meats are delicious. Their al pastor is juicy and well-seasoned. I am a sucker for tripa but I’m always hesitant to order it because some people don’t know how to clean it and cook it. The tripa at Ricos Tacos Naomi is fantastic! You can ask the guy to crisp it up if you want it crunchy, but personally, I like it soft. And third, the toppings (salsas and guacamole) are yummy!“

“So first of all NOT a fruit smoothie stand. I drove here to grab a smoothie as it is called healthy juices. Picked out my fruit and after a bit was handed a cup full of fruit. She mentioned she needs to change the name, she only has passion fruit and dragon fruit juice which is awesome but not what I expected at all. However, the fruit is ripe and on point. Delicious. Great service and although very disappointed as I couldn't drive away with my drink and I had to sit in my car and eat it which wasn't the point, the fruit was delicious and the variety of fruits was great including jackfruit, dragon fruit and lychee on top of the customary pineapple mango, etc. Will be back when in the mood for a good fruit fruit bowl.“
