“The best ahi poke in California! The Mexican guy in the bar and the Asian girl are the best 👌 in the place. They are happy 😊 doing there job. She knows how to prepare the poke . Also my wife don't know English and she was pacient to explain her. The place was clean. I will be back. We were ontario clientes but no anymore.“

The chef not only an excellent cook but took part of the service. The Michelada base alone is memorable and wanted to buy a gallon of it. The waitress was professional but needs to elevate her service skills, one attention to the client was very slow, there was no effort to explain the menu, little initiative to attend out table.“

The owner and employees are all friendly. Korea seems to be doing well too.
King crab, crayfish, conches, garlic bread, and scallops are all delicious.
I also highly recommend the clam chowder and Modelo Beer.
Oh, the chicken is delicious too. It tastes similar to Kyochon Chicken.“

“I recently visited the area and had to try this spot. The fried fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavor in every bite. “Service was quick. Food was cooked to order. I ordered the two piece fish and chips. Which was two full filets of fish. Fries were frozen but okay. Fish was a little oily but I dabbed with paper napkins to soak up the excess. That and a can of soda was around 11 bucks. Pretty good price for a meal dated May 2025.“

“Tucked away in quiet street in busy Diamond Bar, behind the throngs of strip mall shops is a little Thai restaurant. The decor is calming and everything looked new.

Instead of a lunch special, I opted for a full meal and had plenty of leftovers. The Pad See You was excellent with chunks of chicken and flavorful. I also opted for the Beef Satay appetizer. However the portion was huge and dinner size at $15. I spent more than I wanted for lunch but had a second meal. Now that I’m closer to Mt Sac during lunch, I’m exploring all the options that busy Diamond Bar has to offer.

“We rarely dine in, it is usually a take out. Saturday's or Sunday's, we highly recommend their Menudo or Weekday's their 7 Mares , it is delicious and pricing is not bad at all. However, be aware that if you take out then no tortillas will be included.“

“Townsent is a hit or a miss. I guess it depends who is manning the kitchen and who is taking your order. Today for lunch the food sucked. I ordered for 2 people, 1000 year pork, crispy fried shrimp, stir fried clams with ginger sauce and Kung Pao scallops. The 1000 year pork was a little chewy, normally it should melt in your mouth. The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!“

“I got Tteok-bokki to go at this establishment a few weeks ago. The inside is very nicely arranged and clean. The music playing was great.
The Tteok-bokki was very good. The rice cakes were chewy and spicy but not overbearingly spicy. They had just the right amount of flavor.
Overall I'd recommend this place.“

“My husband has known the family that owns this spot since they were on Hacienda in the early 2000s. We moved back from Vegas after living there 3 years, and here waiting for our tacos, and come to find out Guero passed away right after we moved. I’m glad they are still open, that his family is keeping the business going, but man, you never know. Prices have gone up, but we know the food is good, so as long as they’re open, we will keep coming back. RIP, Güero. 😔 🙏“

“A gem in the city of Monrovia. It’s in a small plaza next to a laundromat, near a liquor store and across from another taco stand—this taco stand across the way doesn’t serve fish tacos. This place has a good variety on their menu, but the prized item is their fish tacos. Quite tasty and delicious with green or red (for the more spicy palettes) salsa. A good place to stop off for a snack or meal. Great and friendly service, especially from Mario.“
