“This is the best restaurant in Gold River and one of the best in Sacramento, hands down. True hidden gem. My family has been going for years and we look forward to many lunches and dinners to come. Food is amazingly prepared and always fresh, great portions and quality- each plate could be $10 more expensive and I’d still happily pay. Don’t tell the owner. We love the atmosphere, great indoor and outdoor dining and always amazing service. If you don’t know about Z California Cuisine I feel bad for you! Only place I recommend anyone to try with full confidence they’ll have a great experience.“

“This location is about 15’ from my work. My colleagues and I have been coming here since they opened back in 2016. Even now some of my colleagues were retired but we still get together at Blaze Pizza every couple or few weeks. We love spending time here to enjoy our delicious pizza and chatting. We love the build your own with many fresh toppings available and the crust is thin. Round Table Pizza was my only go to place for pizza but since I came to know Blaze, I eat Blaze Pizza more than Round Table Pizza.“

“Wow! If I lived closer to this place my wallet would be in trouble. We were nearby at the Sac Children's Museum and stumbled across this place when looking through restaurant reviews and were so happy we did. If you are trying to decide where to eat in the area, stop and head over. Highly recommend due to the amazing food (we had the Potato Bolani, Lamb Kebab and Chicken Kebab), warm service, free tea while we waited and huge portions. Can't wait to go back.

Back in December, my family was dining there when the owner came over and shared his story behind Riley’s, a tribute to a beloved Labrador who changed his life. He took the time to truly connect with us, and we left thinking, “Wow, this guy is different. He cares.” Fast forward seven months, and I reached out to him with a heartbreaking story about our extended family’s red fox lab, Wrigley, who we lost suddenly and tragically. I hoped he could do something small to honor Wrigley, but his response overwhelmed us. He listened deeply, reacted with empathy, and went above and beyond to honor this pup in a way that brought us comfort and healing. Riley’s on Sutter has now become a special place for our family to gather and remember Wrigley. “New Owners! Delicious Persian and Pakistani (alternate pages of menu). We had their paneer appetizer). It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.“

“It's been so difficult, post-pandemic, to find good, quality, delicious food places. This place gives me hope. Hands down some of the BEST food I've had at a kabob restaurant. No exaggeration. It's clear they use quality ingredients, and know how to cook. I legit had an emotional moment with my chicken kabob plate lol. The gyros are super yummy too. “I go here about once every two weeks . I love the food or just for the shake with the boba . I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .“

Yesterday it was just the 3 of us tackling an XL pep/sausage and the sauce is even better than I remembered. We were there till closing time. So we took the party elsewhere. Clean restaurant and the restaurant was very cool and comfortable with outside temperatures close to 100 degrees! The BHD had plenty of workers taking orders, preparing great sandwiches, being amazing with customers, smiling, and I really enjoyed the ambiance. I ordered the Marsey Nachos, The High Tide sandwich, and The Malibu. WOW! Folks, these sandwiches were as big as any meal I've ever had. So much value for the money ?. Please take yourself and family to the BHD on Eureka Road, Roseville, California. Next time, my wife and me are sharing a sandwich. I think I'm in a food coma...soooo good! ?“

The old school classic music that played toward the end of our dinner made us dance in our seats and enjoy our dinner even more. Seth is an excellent and attentive server. He showed me the menu because of my dietary restrictions and made sure we got our food orders in good timing because of our concert we were headed to. “The food was excellent and our server was awesome!

However, the gentleman who works at the front counter and the woman who sat us didn't seem like they were having a good evening. No, hello or how are you even after I asked them how they were doing. It almost made you feel as if you were a nuisance/annoyed they had to deal with speaking to you therefore it didn't feel welcoming at all. We were seated quickly as it was around 7pm on a Saturday and not overly busy.

Our server changed that non welcoming feeling. She immediately greeted us with a smile and was very friendly and helpful. I really wish I remembered her name but I hadn't planned on leaving a review until I got a yelp notification asking me to do so.

We will definitely be back because of the service she provided and all 3 of us in our party enjoyed our food. If the food hadn't been good and our server had been like the first two employees, we wouldn't be open to dining here again, so both of those things saved our experience.

We had an email allowing us a free chicken sandwich when you use the app. We don't eat out often so this was a treat for us. When we picked up our food, two of the young workers couldn't help us with this promotion, so we spoke with the manager. She also said sorry we can't help you! We were at the window and received our order, but had to order another item as the chicken sandwich was going to be my husband dinner and we wouldn't receive it. While we were trying to get this order going another young man came up to the window to help us! He heard about the situation and honored the free Chicken sandwich promotion. Everyone was kind regardless of the situation. We love this location and because of Elijah, we left happy customers.“
