“I had the 3 combo. Cheese enchiladas with onions. Red sauces. Hard shell chicken taco and chili Verde burrito with red sauce. Amazing. Fresh. They make the food right in front of you. The chips and pico gallo was excellent. They serve hot beans and cheese with chips. This place is worth the drive. The best in santa maria area.“

“Driving back from Avila, we drove Highway 1, and we pass thru the town of Guadalupe, we stop close to a Market, and asked a resident couple were was the best place to eat? They recommended Nardo's for their great Menudo.
This family restaurant is a gem in Guadalupe: friendly service, home cooking taste, the portions were just right. I had Chilaquiles with Steak and 2 eggs, my wife had Menudo and delicious home made tortillas.
If you happen to drive thru Guadalupe, stop by this Restaurant, you will have an awesome meal.“

“Fantastic, clean, hole in the wall Mexican place. Had a chicken burrito, which was just fabulous. Fantastic flavor. We also had the chicken Mole, which was very good, I was wishing for a little sour cream, but that isn't the style there. Chips and salsa were complimentary, and excellent. Didn't get a rumbling tummy after, which is always welcome. Will be back.“

The food here does indeed speak for itself. I'm partial to the crunch Barboca tacos, but it's all delicious.

“New favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! Small dining area but very clean and tasty. Staff was friendly, attentive and welcoming. Fresh, flavorful salsa and guacamole. I had a rice, bean, cheese burrito and a guacamole taco (vegetarian), both delicious! My companions had chicken enchiladas and cheese enchiladas. There were many more meat options. Can't wait to go back!“

“The food was very good. However, the waitress brought me shrimp soup instead of Siete Mares Caldo. She gladly changed it for Siete Mares and when we were done eating the bill was like $69.00 I ask the waitress why and that it was wrong. She gladly corrected it and it came down to 61 and change. I wasn’t happy because I had added the food that we consumed and it was less than $60. I believe the owner saw me adding and noticed I wasn’t happy so he called the waitress and gave me the new bill for $56.00 I am telling the truth and that is why I gave this restaurant a 5 star because the owner did the right thing, after all said and done. Honesty does pay with good rewards. Thank you owner/manager, we appreciate your honesty and truthfulness. I will recommend everyone to eat here, for all the right reasons. Thank you“

“First time here and I was surprised.
The place is nice, but its empty from the inside. Its somewhat quiet, so it's calm. The waiter was polite and gave us chips and salsa. She was really patient.
I ordered a quesadilla "herradero" which is pretty big and it has a wonderful taste. I feel like it was a reasonable price.
At the end the waiter gave us peppermints. :)“

“We arrived in Santa Maria in the evening. We chose California Birrias Y tacos because it was next to our hotel and the rating was above 4.5.It's one of the best Mexican we've had. The portions are huge for us but it's so good that we ate almost everything.Delicious. You can go there with your eyes closed.“

I am a bit of a spice weenie so it was a bit out of my comfort zone, but nothing "Mas crema, por favor" could not solve. :) My husband, who has a higher spice tolerance, absolutely loved it! I highly recommend this place. The jamaica is really good, too. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Santa Maria.“

this tiny, hole in the wall restaurant. They have the most fresh beans and great salsa. The food was so good that I was able to finish my entire plate lol which I rarely do. I had to order more since I wanted some for tomorrow. And the portions are huge!!!! Highly recommend for a quiet lunch or dinner. Great staff and drinks!! Fast friendly service with great food!!! Can’t wait to go back. Took my 90 year old father for lunch and he loved it too. And he hates everything lol!

“BEST CHILAQUILES IN SANTA MARIA!!! Holy shit, I wasn't prepared for how bomb these were going to be. I was on a mission to find the best Chilaquiles in town and I found them! I got mine with chorizo and hashbrowns, the beans come with it. So tasty and good! A good crisp with freshly fried chips, not soggy at all like other places. Paired with some cafe de olla and it hit the spot. Plus, the have a MILITARY DISCOUNT!!! Always a plus in my book too.“
