“Had some relatives visiting me decided to bring them here, and they LOVED IT. The quality of the meats was very good, the tomato broth was our personal favorite, and we all really liked the sauce bar! It was their first time having any kind of hot pot and they really enjoyed themselves. We also did get the hand pulled noodle (it was great 😃👍🏻) and our waiter Siying was so helpful and attentive!! “Love this sukiyuki restaurant! We get the standard vision, and it's very good! The meat quality is excellent, and melts in my mouth. The sushi is fresh, and I like their tuna sashimi as well. Curry is pretty good. Their milk tea is pretty good quality, and I recommend you try it. I definitely will come back to try better vision here. I recommend people come here early so parking and waiting time would be less, and make sure to eat wagyu as much as possible if you are hungry.“

“Exploring new places for hot pot and picked this one to try. The selections of vegetables and seafoods were abundant. It’s included with the meat choice of combo. From the basic to the waygu beef premium. Order your cuts of meat through the servers and the rest is at the cooler for your picking. Mix your own dipping sauce at one of the stations. They have small selection of dessert items, very basic, fried milk bun served with condensed milk. It was a bit dry since it was sitting out for quite sometime, the red bean filling sesame balls were a bit stale. Service was great! We went there around 5:30pm on a weekend night and there was no waiting.

“Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. Their service was great, for sure we're going again this weekend ?“

“This was our first time visiting this chain’s location in San Gabriel. It is more spacious and the food quality is good. There were only two minor issues: There was no one checking the waitlist at the main entrance when we got there. The bathrooms only allow one person at a time. Other than those overall it is a very well managed restaurant.“

“Ah Lien owned by a small Taiwanese family may close by the end of this month due to slow business. This is one of the best hot pots and probably the last authentic Taiwanese hot pot in SoCal. The soup broth is tasty and authentic to Taiwanese flavors. They have a high quality and vast selection of meats. The service is fast & efficient as they are very quick with getting your orders. The price point may be a bit high compared to shabu shabu or AYCE places, but their quality is top notch. “Absolutely loved my experience at Chun La Hao Chong Qing Hot Pot! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The spicy broth had a real kick, just like you’d expect from authentic Chongqing hot pot. There were tons of ingredient options, from premium meats to fresh vegetables and handmade fish balls.

Service was excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to refill broth and bring extra sauces or drinks. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional Chinese décor and lively energy that made the whole dining experience more enjoyable.

“If you say Xiaolongkan, Lameizi, and Chunlahao are traditional hot pot places, then Yuan's is the fashionable style, both in renovation and decoration. Yuan's might be the high-end hot pot in Los Angeles.

The restaurant has private rooms with full-time waitstaff and serves free snacks that you would normally have to pick up at the dipping station in other hot pot restaurants. The free Sichuan pepper chicken feet were delicious, and the fried sesame balls were hot, crispy, and tasted good.

The food was not more expensive than other hot pot places. The specialty was their wagyu beef, which had better quality than others.

I don't remember whether they had the nine-block pot. What I saw looked like a Mercedes logo shape, so you could have three kinds of soup base - one especially for fish, one for wagyu, and one for everything else. The pot was funny, with a copper-colored tiger head on the side. I don't know if the direction the head pointed to meant anything.

Hot pot is just hot pot. As long as the raw ingredients are fresh enough, it will not be bad. Nowadays, the soup base is no longer a secret. Hot pot is one of the foods that requires the least cooking skills from the chef.“

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.

It's so, so, so delicious, and I haven't been able to get my mouth full since I ate this place from Korea. I'm sure there's no such delicious malatang anywhere in the world, not even in mainland China. It's so delicious that I wonder if something was really done to the soup, and it's so addictive that I'll be eating it for a week. I think about it three times. Please, please drink it. Please.“

The bad part is that there isn’t enough workers so it’s hard to get their attention when they’re cooking.

“This is my absolute all-time favorite hotpot place in Rowland Heights!! I visit here with my family every time I’m in California. The broth is super flavorful, as well as the meat and appetizers. They also offer a variety of drinks. The service was excellent too! She was very kind, made suggestions, and was trying her best at servicing the whole restaurant by herself. She also helped guide us through the menu and took a polaroid for my family when I asked. The place is always very clean and the all-you-can-eat option is well-priced. My family and I always struggle to walk afterwards from all the meat we ate! I hope to visit again sometime soon.“

“Very authentic Korean restaurant!!

We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, seafood onion pancake and beef soup. The spicy braised short ribs is so flavorful, it comes with radish and rice cake. The beef soup reminds you in Korea, no MSG! And the seafood onion pancake is huge, good to share. Their banchan also changes everyday!

The service is friendly and many old diners and family in the restaurant- that’s how you know it’s a legit place! There’s dinner rush so come early
