“My friend was craving English pub food. We ordered a beef pastie, bangers and mash, artichoke soup and lobster and cheesey bread. My friend was disappointed that the potatoes were from a box, not a fresh potato mash, it needed a bit more gravy as well. I was surprised the artichoke soup had a tang like it was from a jar. The lobster, cheesey bread was nice, I thought it would be more of a doughy, chewy bread. The bangers were tasty, not as chewy as other sausages we are use to. Service was nice.“
“Well first off if you're going there for food, you're not gonna be satisfied they might have some chips but that's not why you come here. You come here simply for the atmosphere and the great prices on drinks and mind you this is cash only. They do have an ATM there and there are several ATM areas there in the area like a chase bank in a Wells Fargo. Please come in prepared don't order your drink and expect them Lady at the bar to hold your drink for you forever. They didn't have a live band or anything they did have a jukebox on the wall and the place got pretty crowded and it's in a well lit area very safe area. The day I saw what look like 28 year-old girls walking down the street by themselves without an adult that is a safe neighborhood. So many Uber drivers dropping people off and picking people up like I said the area is very charming. It's very small, but very nice. I would suggest having the espresso martinis.“
“This bar is both charming and fun. Monica is the best bartender I've had. She will make any drink requested, with ease. She makes a killer espresso Martini! If you're in the area and need a pick me up, this is your place! The ambiance and fun is well worth the price you pay. Coke to Paddy Flynn's for a good time“
“I have been coming here since it was Prince of Wales, usually on Tuesday evenings when the Silicon Gulch Jazz Band (Trad Jazz) plays. I like the selection of beers and ciders on tap, the fish & chips, the burgers, and the general "dive pub" feel of the place. I do not like the actual atmosphere - the cigar/cigarette/vape smoke that comes in from the back patio. They need to improve the ventilation somehow.Street parking only, usually easy after work hours.“
“Had the California burrito and chips and salsa. Ordering was at the bar and someone brings out your food. Everything was delicious only downside was it was chilly outside and "inside" all the doors were open so it was equally chilly inside.“
