“This is a very happenin kind of donut/lil coffee shop It's a local hanout spot for regulars in Harbor City in cute yet safe kinda way. Tho the neighborhood some would say maybe a bit on the rough side,,it does Harbor City prouD. It sits on a famous & for some a very historical landmark .. "Normandie & Lomita". A few steps and youre on Pch and Normandie.. . Favorite Doughnuts is in the right smak dab of HC . I would say that hands down this little cottage has definite, character & good vibes all day. I frequent there alot in the early evening & the night guy is always just a breath of fresh air to anyone He is always working hard with a very contagous joy to him ,& a bedside manner that is almost gaurenteed to make anyone smile. It has a lottery ticket machine ,an ATM,&even some old-school classic gum ball machines with all kinds of cool nicknacks that a quarter or two might getcha. They have great sanwhiches, chips of different sorts, a variety of candy for sale, even cigeretts, the best priced with in 10 a 10 mile radious,& hands down delicious coffee -& donuts. I give this place 5 stars anyday. This little joint has spaz, with some serious Cali swagg,✌️❤️ . ,?~ Heather B, a resident in Harbor City for 2years-“

“Excellent coffee drinks, food and desserts. The atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. Clean and inviting with indoor and outdoor seating. My Aunt is not a coffee connoisseur and she ordered a coffee drink that was not really what she should of ordered. The lady working here asked her how she likes her coffee and remade one for free that was exactly what my Aunt really wanted. Customer service that goes above and beyond. A++ in every facet!“

“Love it miss it. When I lived around the corner I would go all the time. Everything they have is good. No matter what you get you can’t go wrong. The service is friendly. Make sure you bring cash. You’ll want to go back again and again. And as a bonus you also get to meet some of the people there in the neighborhood as well as some of the people you already know. I’ve been away from the area for several years now, but I’ve still managed to drop in every now and again.“

“got a couple of cookies from crumbl. the one with the frosting and chocolate chips on top was super soft and had a nice balance of sweetness. the other cookie, with a simple but great flavor, was equally good. both were fresh and perfectly packed. if you’re into cookies with a rich, indulgent taste, definitely give these a try.“

“The best bread ever. I always get the filled ones they sell at the counter. $4.50 for 4 large rolls. They vary the fillings from strawberry, cream cheese, nutella, guava. All of them are excellent. This is my go-to place when I want to treat myself.“

“Excellent all around. It's very inviting inside that you want to get a cup of whatever and a pastry to hang out a bit. Plenty of parking here and the selection is big. I like their coffee here to go or to chill out a bit. They open very early too.“

“Mochi donuts are amazing here! Fair variety, fast service, the display is high so it's easy to browse without squatting or bending over (a huge plus for me)!
Parking can be rediculous as it's mall parking, best to NOT park where Google tells you to (in front of the main entrance to PF Chang's and Lazy Dog) and go over to the side of the building by the entrance to the Mitsuwa Food Court for easiest access!
My family was so excited to try mochi donuts as they'd never had them! These did not disappoint!!!!“

“We ordered our food to go but sat in the lounge area outside to eat our pastry and sip our coffee. Our cashier offered to bring out my peanut little once it was done. It was delish!!! The gf vegan chocolate muffin was not lacking and I would definitely get the chocolate goodness again. It wasn't dry and was ooey gooey. The coffee was delicious too. Even the drip. The patio was also dog friendly.“

“Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

“For the most part the bread is always fresh. I think it just depends on how fast it sells. Conchas and Bolillo are always fresh. Cochinitos not always, it's my favorite bread and I've gotten a couple of stale ones. Parking here can be difficult to find.“

“A normal corner donut shop. I decided to try it out. Overall satisfied. Service was great. I ordered half a dozen donuts and got an extra for free ?? Giving it 5 stars because it is what you'd expect and the prices were decent~ Would come back for the donuts. Didn't mind my sausage, egg, and croissant sandwich. The blended mocha was yummy too. I do want to try one of their smoothies next time. Total cost for 1/2 dozen donuts, two blended mochas, and a #7 was about $21 if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, hella worth the price.“

“Super clean locale! Great tasting coffee! The bread is delicious! I had their chocolate doughnut which was deliciously soft and just the right amount of sweet, I also tried the mini conchas, the mini croissants and the orejas and they were amazingly good. The prices are so affordable. Definitely a good choice if you visit someone and need to take sweets to share when visiting, everyone will love it for sure. The customer service is friendly and fast. This the place to go for authentic Mexican sweet bread!“
“A friend ordered cookies for me from Jungle Bakes as a gift, and they were very well-packaged (none of them were damaged, which was a feat considering how buttery and delicate they are), beautifully decorated, and delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Good pan dulce, good burritos, and excellent bolillos and beans. The burritos are good but they only put 2-3 ingredients, for example if you order a carne asada burrito it’s only like carne asada beans and slasa. I can’t remember the exact ingredients, but don’t expect pico de gallo, rice, guacamole, sour cream, etc. Nonetheless, the burritos are tasty. My recommendation is the bolillos and the beans, that’s where this place truly shines. Parking is a bit iffy, it’s located right at the corner of a somewhat busy intersection, so be careful.“

“Cara Mia catered my mother-in-law's memorial service beautifully and on quite short notice. The owner was so incredibly kind and helped us pick out the right things to feed 30+ people, was super responsive via email, and even met us in person when we picked up our order to offer her heartfelt condolences. They went above and beyond to help make this difficult day easier and we were blown away not only by their compassion, but the quality of their baked goods! The memorial guests devoured everything and many of them remarked to us how great the food was :) I can't recommend Cara Mia enough and hope to visit again under happier circumstances. Thank you!!!!“

“First time customer yesterday while waiting for my boba beast drink next door. Spent $29 the first time & tried various pastries. After eating two pastries I just had to go back & buy more for my staff at the hospital. Spent another $49 & left with a box full of pastries & the employee even threw in a freebie. Staff is friendly & answered my questions with absolutely outstanding customer service. I'll be returning to try the cakes! 😁🍰🍩 Plenty of parking too !“

“These heart cookies with the pink frosting were literally my lifeblood in the early 2000s as a young chimp running around the AMS Elementary School.I came back here for the first time in a minute this weekend, now a full grown orangutan, and can confirm these heart cookies with the pink frosting ($1.50) are still literal crack cocaine. I really don't even mess with frosting on cookies usually, but Becker's is just different.I paired an americano with my cookie, as they now have a Hi-Fi Espresso in here which I think slangs some of the best espresso around. It makes me feel like I'm in Europe idk how else to describe it.I almost bought a shirt, but I have SO many shirts already so I opted against it. However, when I was doing my due diligence for this review a sense of regret shot through my spine like it was an epidural when I saw Beckers has been around since 1942. I had NO idea that Beckers has been around since Joseph Stalin was the Time Magazine Person of the Year. Still so crazy he was Time's Person of the Year.......The business is still in the family after 3 generations (Shoutout to the OG Harry Becker for kicking it off), which really makes me want to go back and buy a shirt. I love places passed from generation to generation. No wonder these heart cookies with the pink frosting still taste exactly the same as they did when I was just a little chimp. Some free game for y'all, if you go to someone's party in Manhattan Beach and they don't have a box of Becker's cookies, they are a big fat phony..... ahaha I'm playin but actually OGs will always have a box of Beckers for a function.I should mention that they also have a deli here that people love, but I've really only ever been here for the cookies. You know why I'm here.As the money and botox continues to move into Manhattan Beach, this is one of the 5 or 6 places left keeping the soul of what I knew as a small local beach town alive.THANK YOU BECKERS NEVER SWITCH UP! I'M COMIN BACK FOR THE SHIRT!IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__“

“My Mom like going to get cake from Bonjour French Pastry because this is a really good place for a good cake. I have some of the cake that Mommy like. The Matcha Cake is good. The Mango Cake is also really good. And I also enjoy having some of the Tiramisu Cake which is good. So I recommend going to this place if you want to get some good cakes. And also the limit to get inside is 6 limit so you have to be patient to get inside to get your cakes.“
