The prices are pretty pricey, but for the love ingredients and originality of the cocktails I guess it's alright, but I'm not staying for more than two lol. We ordered 4 cocktails and two mocktails and it was about $100 so time to go home lol. They have yummy little snacks and overall we were happy with this new Long Beach spot.“

“This place is so cute!! My friends and I were looking for a place to get some yummy fresh food after a day of paddle boarding. We also had a dog with us so needed to find a place that had outdoor seating and was dog friendly. This place was perfect! The food was incredible. Our server Matthew was so attentive and recommended some great plates for us. We had the oysters, the bread and lobster butter that was TO DIE FOR! The steak salad, and the barramuti fish was great ! “This was my 2nd time here. First time was for drinks and dessert which I loved so I decided to come back for a birthday dinner. We had no problems getting a table for 5 on a Saturday at 7pm. We were seated in the back room. The atmosphere was very Vegas lounge like. They even had a dj come in at 8pm to play. The service here was really nice. Food and drinks we loved too. Asian fusion style of menu. We tried 3 of the desserts and all 3 were soooo good. Definitely a place for date night or celebrating a special occasion. They even gave the birthday boy a little birthday gift. A must try for sure for all. =)“

I'm not sure if there's free parking in the area, but we parked in the parking lot next to the restaurant which is not free. Had to pay at the kiosk. This place serves american food and alcohol. Came here during lunch time with coworkers. They ordered alcohol and returned to work right after. I ordered the american style kobe burger. It was very delicious but be aware that it's not real kobe beef. Staffs were friendly and had a good meal here. Really nice restaurant by the beach. Would recommend eating here. “After going to the Garden Amp for a concert, a group of us were looking for a place to grab and drink and a bite to eat. We found this place on Yelp and so we decided to give it a try. This place is in a industrial but the wife and I like dives so we came in. Unfortunately, the owner let us know that the kitchen was closed so I went out to inform our group. We decided to have a drink anyways but when we walked in Paula met us at the door with that huge smile and said that they could offer us a limited. We quickly ordered 5 burgers and fries. BTW, the buns are made there at Henry's, that is a nice and rare move for a small dive bar, right? The beer offerings were pretty decent. I had a Blue Moon and my friends had Fuzzy... something or other. I was laughing and talking so I don't know exactly. My wife did get the Cardiff Cab Sauvignon that was pretty decent. What makes a great dive bar is the crowd and this place had a great group. The table next to us was serenading the room with both Bolero's and some great country hits. Their fun was infectious. “We were up in the Long Beach area for the weekend and my husband wanted to watch UFC so he found this bar showing it at no charge! The place is big with lots of TVs, seating and games. It was a bit cluttered. Lots of stuff that were sitting in piles all over the place. It seems like it should be in a storage room but maybe they are short on storage. Other than that, it was fine. The staff was great. Like I said, it is a big place but we did not have a problem getting drinks or food. I ordered the pretzel bites and a Nathan's hot dog Chicago style. The dog was really yummy and filling. My husband ordered the quesadilla and he liked it. Said it was nice and spicy. If we are back in the area we will def return.“

Needless to say, they have certainly nailed the nighttime vibe. Wonderful small plates, super yummy pizzas, creative and beautiful dishes. Recently, my group of four and I shared a pizza and a few small dishes as well as entrees. Out of all of the dishes, my Alaskan halibut was agreed upon as the best, which was surprising! The creamed leeks beneath the fish were unlike anything I've ever had. We also REALLY enjoyed the snap pea salad. Such unique flavor combinations! It was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly! One of the best steaks I have ever had! Also tried their sausage with hatched chilies and it was just wonderful. We literally licked the plate clean! Yesterday, I got a carne asada wet burrito for lunch. OMG!!! Literally the BEST wet burrito I have ever had, EVER!!! The meat was so thick and tender and they do not skimp out on the meat. It's loaded with meat and a pretty big portion as well. I highly recommend any one who wants delicious food and a great environment for live music, to come to Maderas steakhouse! “I've been here a bunch, just realized I've still never written them a review, so fixing that finally. They are definitely a "neighborhood bar" first, cocktail bar second - it's a great chill vibe, the sort of place that's never too busy (at least when I've been there) and where the music is never too loud to be able to talk. Their bartenders are all great, and they have quality spirits and reasonably priced drinks. And they do *have* a cocktail list - but compared to, for instance, Wicked Wolf nearby, for similar prices, cocktails that aren't quite as complex or as exciting, necessarily, but they have all been great cocktails. I also particularly like that they have, at least at the moment, Buffalo Trace on hand, so I can put that in any whiskey cocktail for about the same price. On their current menu, I particularly liked the "Cameoi" (bourbon, basil, lemon, blueberry, hibiscus cider) and the "Conquistador" (corn vodka, frangelico, romepope custard liqueur - as-is, it's basically a drinkable dessert, which is great if you're looking for dessert, but it's also an easy drink to swap different spirits in - I've also tried off-menu versions with mezcal and with Buffalo Trace that were also great.) I have only actually gotten food here once, and it was a couple years ago - their flatbread was nothing I'd go out of my way for specifically, but it's definitely also something I'd be happy to order if I were hungry and I was here. That said, the *real* draw that keeps getting me to stop in here, is the live jazz they have every Saturday at 8 PM. The jazz trio that plays here is fantastic, so whenever I'm out that direction on Saturday in the evening (most likely because something's going on at Wicked Wolf), I also try to arrange to pop in here during the live jazz. Cocktails go great with live jazz, and they're a super talented jazz trio. (But it wouldn't be such a draw if they didn't *also* make great cocktails.)“

“This is my neighborhood bar. I could literally walk here. So I come quite often. Happy Hour is pretty good. Unfortunately, they don't have a kitchen onsite but you can bring your own food or order and have it delivered; which is pretty cool.They also have free pool tables and a juke box for your listening pleasure.My only gripe is there is one bar tender (shorter guy, with longer brown/black hair, and mustache) who has a bad attitude which can ruin your mood. Especially since he is providing a service and customer service is important. I usually don't stay long when he is working.“
“This place is a sunset beach staple. Been going here for 25 years - well before it was redone. Our band played there when we got out of high school, and back then it was pretty rowdy. Peanut shells on the ground, the bar was falling apart, and the jukebox had CDs. While I miss the old "Mother's Beer & Wine", they did a nice job restoring it, and you can always count on a cold beer, a friendly bar staff, and cool patrons when you arrive. Peanuts are optional.“
