“Alex! it's obvious you've never been to Don Ruben's Mexican food! The food is good the customer service is good I have no complaints I'm giving it a five-star review prices are excellent you can ask for more there's nothing fishy about it you need to get out and try something and if a place is good of course they're going to have all good reviews I feel sorry for you never seen a good place or tasted good Mexican food and I'm 100% Mexican so get out some try something new unless you're from another nearby restaurant trying to put a negative spin on something but don't revenge is excellent five stars for sure!“

“I have visited this place about 4 times. at first I just wanted a snack since I was waiting for my clothes to wash at the laundry matt. Since the girl that helped me ( Andy?) was so polite and recommended a few things, I decided to come back.

1) the place was nice and clean
2) The cashier was friendly and patient
3) the drink was straight out mouth watering ( horchata latte)
4) omg the sandwich that I order was not only made fast but nicely wrapped for me, but the flavors made me dance in my seat.

I am not a person to do many reviews, but I believe they truly do deserved it. I also loved that it is family owned, and it feels like they truly care about the food and the quality of it.“

“I just cleaned up a chunky monkey bowl 😆 and I have no shame in it (lol). I loved this treat for my breakfast today and I would do it again! I read past reviews and I have to say, just come in and appreciate the list of goodies provided. I'll be honest, I got lazy to make anything at home, but I do appreciate this place for existing around the corner to help me make a better choice for breakfast. “While almost everything was closed on Christmas Day, this restaurant was open, and we were so grateful. We stopped by to order food because, let’s be honest—we love tamales and pozole, but after a while you want to change your palate and have something that’s not Mexican.
It was really nice of them to stay open for the holiday and offer takeout for everyone. Even though there were probably only two or three people cooking and taking orders, they were incredibly kind, patient, and professional. I truly appreciate them being open on a holiday.
The wait was long, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious! We ordered sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, chow fun noodles, BBQ pork, and vegetable egg rolls—and everything was amazing.“

“I was referred by a friend to visit this location since I eat yogurt everyday fir breakfast. I ordered drinking yogurt:Earl Grey & persimmon($1 additional). You can't taste Earl Grey strongly, but it was flavorful. As for persimmon, you can taste lumps of persimmon as you sip the liquid yogurt. I actually like the taste of yogurt by itself and I would prefer to order plain next time.“

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“
