“Alex! it's obvious you've never been to Don Ruben's Mexican food! The food is good the customer service is good I have no complaints I'm giving it a five-star review prices are excellent you can ask for more there's nothing fishy about it you need to get out and try something and if a place is good of course they're going to have all good reviews I feel sorry for you never seen a good place or tasted good Mexican food and I'm 100% Mexican so get out some try something new unless you're from another nearby restaurant trying to put a negative spin on something but don't revenge is excellent five stars for sure!“

“Beautiful cafe with plenty of space (and outlets) for a productive study session. I got the mocha latte w/ oatmilk, and it was just the perfect amount of chocolatey taste. The staff was incredibly sweet, with a welcoming nature, and overall were just ready to serve all their customers' needs. While I did not get the chance to eat anything, the pastries looked soooo tempting. Would highly recommend.“

“My coworkers recommended this place and I finally stopped by on a weekday lunch. So glad I did!

It's a cute little spot tucked in a small plaza next to Atoyubu, with a few tables and bar seating. The owner greeted us right when we walked in.

I went with the plain thick yogurt bowl topped with honey drizzle, grapefruit, kiwi, and yuzu puree. My friend got hers with chocolate syrup, strawberry, mango, and mochi with granola on the side. Both were amazing.

The yogurt is honestly hard to describe...somewhere between ice cream and cream cheese, but lighter. Like Greek yogurt without any of the tanginess. It felt indulgent but still on the healthier side, which I really appreciated.

Some might say it's a bit pricey, but you really can't find anything like this elsewhere. The yuzu puree topping is an absolute must! I'll be getting that every time. Definitely coming back!“

“Came here on a whim for a solo date. My server, Logan - was incredibly knowledgeable about wine and helped me choose an amazing seafood pasta off the menu. At first I wasn’t sure about the squid ink, but it was probably one of the best pastas I have ever eaten. The affogato for dessert was delicious as well.

Side note: They were playing cool music, early Black Sabbath off Vol. 4 🤘🏼

“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)“

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

“This was our second time visiting Fuego Cravings. It’s such a hidden gem in Whittier and has become one of our favorite places to eat. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The food was so good too! We got an al pastor burrito, birria tacos with consommé, carnitas taco, fish taco and chips, salsa and guacamole.

Masala Waves is an absolute gem. We started with the tandoori fish and the samosa chaat and wow both were bursting with flavor. The fish was perfectly cooked tender and packed with smoky spices and the samosa chaat had the perfect balance of crispy tangy and comforting. The mango lassi was so refreshing and creamy easily one of the best I’ve had. The chicken biryani truly stole my heart. It honestly reminds me of my mom’s cooking. The spices the aroma and the tenderness of the chicken made it feel like a warm homemade meal made with love. I always thought cafes should have a time limit for people with laptops or a bar set up on the wall just for people with laptops.
