Gansito ice cream - ice cream with chunks of gansitos. This made my dreams come true! For those of you who aren't familiar with Mexican treats, a Gansito is sort of like the Mexican version of the twinkie dipped in chocolate and with a jelly filling.

Cajeta - Super deliciously sweet.

Fruity pebbles - cereal milk flavored ice cream with fruity pebbles mixed in.“

They let you mix and match flavors which allowed me to walk out with a bit of every flavor I wanted which is great! Also, the pricing here is really good which makes it a no brainer. “I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. “I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 20 years and yesterday I had maybe the best customer service experience EVER in my life. I was not able to get the young man’s name but I have this picture here that he let me take. This young man was so warm and hospitable towards everyone who walked in the store. He was very patient with me and all my sampling requests which was probably annoying because I came at a busy time, but his positive attitude never wavered. His smile lit up my day and made my ice cream taste even sweeter than it already was! I loved my experience with that young man so much that I might only get ice cream from salt in straw from now on! He also gives the best scoops, filled with a lot of joy… and ice cream as well, so request him if you can. “Honeymee in Gardena is a sweet little spot that’s definitely worth a visit! The serving area is small, but the quality more than makes up for it. The signature honey topped ice cream is absolutely delicious, simple, creamy, and perfectly sweet. I tried the Passion Fruit and Chocolate Dream, and both were amazing in their own way. “Amazing ice creams!!!

I was walking by after dinner and saw some people who were eating ice creams and feel like it is what I need right now, I looked for ice cream shops nearby and found Jeni’s. It was a really good ice cream shop. They have a wide variety of flavors, and I got one scoop of Strawberry Pretzel Pie and one scoop of Texas Sheet Cake. Both were absolutely delicious but I like strawberry more - the second one was a little bit sugary for me. The flavor in both was rich and creamy, and it felt very fresh, so it tasted really good. I really enjoyed it.

I ordered ice cream in a waffle cone, and the portion was pretty generous, bigger than I expected. The waffle was pretty good, not dry but crispy. The prices are reasonable for that amount of ice cream.

The place itself is nice inside, looks like regular ice cream spot. There are no tables inside but you can find some on the street. The staff was friendly and helpful, she told me about different flavors and let me sample.

Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The ice cream is amazing, I really enjoyed it, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors.“

Today was our first time and we had the Mexican Hot Chocolate (smooth and delicious!), Strawberry Pie (more fruity and delicious) and Mint Oreo (Lots of Oreos and delicious). You can taste the ice cream is fresh and made with real ingredients. Get it in a cone! Will definitely be back!“

Blaring bright lights in a commercial kitchen environment. Employees are dishing out ice cream in an assembly line fashion. It’s actually a very large shop set up to handle a large volume. Salty caramel truffle is my fave.“

Anyways I tried the Chocolate Gooey Brownie and the Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Out of the 2 I would get the Salted,Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough again. The Chocolate Gooey Brownie is very choclatey and a bit boring. Salted, Malted is the way to go along with a waffle cone. Prices are reasonable, portions are fine, good ice cream but I probably would pick other spots just because of their variety. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back.“

The service was fantastic from the man working there and you can even have free samples to ensure you like your flavour before committing to a flavour. Good:
- Tofu donut was super unique, I couldn't tell that it was tofu
- The soft serve was amazing- so creamy and not too sweet, and the serving size was large enough for 2 people to share or maybe even 3!

Bad:
- Long lines! Super popular place so you'll wait about 10 min for your order outside and there's limited seating
