“driving down Main Street yesterday looking for a Dunkin' Donuts and see this cute little shop very well lit inviting. the Portuguese sweet breads are out of this world the custard tarts are to die for this place is a gem.“

“This little spot is efficient, delicious, quaint, and has great service. Great spot for a quick bite. The parking can be tight. Their bagels are FANTASTIC! The bagels stay soft for more than one day, unlike their competitors whose bagels become bricks overnight. I go out of my way to buy from here. Oh, and they have a great selection of bagels, cream cheeses, and breakfast sandwiches.“

“We hired Oscar one week before our event on 7/13/24 and he did not disappoint. His churros were delicious, flaky on the outside and nice and doughy on the inside. “I am lucky enough to work with Victor’s mom and once in a while she brings Victor’s cheesecake to work and then I lose my mind! I don’t know if I can find the right words in the English language to do them justice but here it goes! Victor’s cheesecakes are like a cheesecake became the queen of England but it never lost its cool and warmth of a regular person! You still have the cheesecake, the smooth cheese taste and texture we all love but then the cheesecake gets so refined by the flavors that it comes in that you just have to stop after every bite and really taste the bouquet of flavor and sweetness that just makes you sit down and really enjoy it! If Victor lived next to me, I would be 500 lbs! I have loved every flavor I tried but my favorite is definitely hands down ube, and apple, and peach, and pineapple! Never mind, I can’t choose one! They are all to die for! Amen!“

“It's a place of it all, sweet breads and mexican food too. Sometimes you can buy bread from them at a low price. There's a lot of options for the sweet bread though, sometimes with jelly, some with a whole lot of sugar, which are my favorites. The staff don't walk around, you just order, they give you your bread and you're out. Easy, but if you order genuine food, it'll take around 7 minutes for them to serve a basic meal. They have a lot of options for a bakery. And their cakes look nice, I've never eaten one but they have some for display and they look pleasing. Overall, 4 for me, I love going there for either bread, food or ordering some bread to eat at home with things like beans.“

“I was craving rice cakes filled with sesame and sugar one day and was ecstatic to find out that one of the best rice cake places in the Bay Area was near me. When I went in around Sunday 7am, the owners were busy making bulk orders but kindly paused to show me a few of their small selections for sale. Sadly, no honey rice cake was available for the day but after asking, they advised to call beforehand to confirm what they have in stock that day since the menu changes each day. It’s a good idea since it seemed like their hours vary based on what I read from the notice on the door. Bring cash.

I picked up two (pictured) rice cakes and they were both warm, soft, and delicious. I will be returning for more.

I really wanted to eat real honey rice cake, not the hard honey rice cake sold at the market, so I looked for it, and luckily, there was a traditional rice cake shop nearby, so I rushed to it in the morning. There was no honey rice cake that day, but I regretfully bought injeolmi and bean rice cake with anko and I was not disappointed. It's the same taste I had in Korea when I was young. I would like to thank the owner who works hard from early in the morning to make delicious rice cakes for Koreans living in other places. I hope you do this for a long time. You are already receiving a lot of love in Northern California, but I hope you prosper even more.“

“OMG!!! ❤️❤️❤️ A little piece and a little slice of Hawai'i right in our backyard! Tina is such an amazing baker. So blessed that she could share her passion with our little ohana. We special ordered the Hawaiian Chantilly Cake and Toffee Lemon Crunch cupcakes. Everything was perfect not to sweet, light, and pillowy - it was biting into a piece of heaven. “Adorable little home bakery with pickups in HaHa Ramen & Sushi restaurant located in downtown Hayward. My cousin ordered this amazingly cute birthday cake for our grandma and asked me to pick it up. She had contacted the baker via WeChat and was able to request a customized design on their taro flavor cake. My cousin used a popular design style from China for their reference and they were able to replicate it pretty accurately! The cake came ribbon wrapped in a clear cake box - presentation was through the roof great!For the cake itself, it was 3 stars for flavor and texture and +1 for design. It wasn't too sweet (which is the Asian standard) and the cake part itself was fragrant and fluffy. The taro cream was light and subtle. Would have liked to tasted more taro-ness but that might be because the baker uses fresh, natural ingredients instead of artificial flavors - which is appreciated.They also offer creme puffs and drinks as well but hours may vary from what's posted because when I went for pickup (2:30pm on a Sunday) the baker themselves weren't there and only the sushi restaurant staff were present. Double check you have the right order before you leave in these scenarios because I was given the wrong order by the restaurant staff. I just said I was picking up a cake and was handed another person's order - I had mistakenly assumed there was only 1 cake order that's why they didn't ask me for the name or what was ordered. Only when I took a picture for my cousin to let her know I picked up the cake did I find out I got the wrong order. Good thing I lived close enough to quickly swing back. Street parking in front of the restaurant is sparse but I didn't have trouble finding a spot on the block.Overall, a great home bakery that offers cute cake designs on this side of the East Bay!“
