“Best Indian Restaurant in Hayward. Food is so delicious and taste amazing. We tried Briyani, Garlic Naan, Noodles, MoMo(Dumplings), butter chicken and everything was amazingly delicious.“

“Oh G Burger is a cozy place tucked on A Street in Hayward. With a wide seating area and bright, red, white and blue walls, it brings a more retro atmosphere, helped by the selection of 80's, 90's and 00's music. Aesthetically, it's somewhere between an old-school diner and a cafeteria, and I greatly appreciate that.

During my visit, the owner made sure to meet my needs in a timely and respectful manner. Ice for my drink was available on request, as well as water (and water cups). I noted that the owner was also very close with his regulars, but also willing to give a customer space if he felt that they wanted to be alone. It seems that management is in good hands.

On this first visit, I ordered the Hayward Burger combo. To be honest, I didn't take a closer look at the menu and just picked on the spot - almost none of the ingredients in the burger itself were anything I would have normally had. Based on its individual ingredients, I should have hated what I ordered... but I didn't! The combination of flavors made what would have been an unpleasant experience in lesser hands, a pleasantly surprising one. Even if I don't know whether or not I will order another Hayward Burger, it's certainly changed my opinion on bell peppers for the future. For that, I have to give a 5 star rating for the food - at any other place, I think I would have hated it.

“This Thai/Lao spot is truly a hidden gem in the Industrial area of Hayward off Highway 92. Fortunately, it's right off the freeway at the Clawiter/Eden Landing and you can spot it along the freeway.

Offering Thai and Lao food with some sushi rolls but I'm here for the Thai/Lao food as I love Nam Khao which is Southeast Asian crispy rice salad (with Lao pork) with plenty of flavor and textures accompanied with peanuts, mint, cilantro and lettuce for wrapping.

Royal Lao does a good one with plenty of bold flavors and heat (I asked for medium). The only comment I have for this dish it wasn't crispy (and not due to take out) so no crunch to it at all...no worries...popped into the air fryer and perfect! 4/5

:: Chicken Larb - ground chicken, herbs like mint, lime and fish sauce and chili with some cucumber and salad. - Flavorful and yummy. 4/5

:: Pork skewer (4) - good and juicy but could've been charred a bit to render some of the fat and get some caramelization from the sugars. Accompanied by a tomato-based sauce 3.5/5

Service friendly and efficient. Spoke to the owner, Noi and she mentioned the place has been there a year. Great option for Thai/Lao in the area as not many unless you go to East Oakland (Champa!) and head to Stockton's Angel Cruz Park.

Highly recommend stopping by. Place has a few tables for dining (no table service) but set up for take out. Pricing in line with similar spots. I'll definitely return to try other items and for the Nem Khao! Thank you Noi!

“Gong Cha is always a staple of mine whenever I am looking for boba and they happened to have a convenient location near shopping and some good restaurants.

Note: Gong Cha locations use a non-dairy creamer but beware, these almost always still contain whey which is a dairy derivative. It's a common misnomer so always ask for non-dairy milk if you are vegan like myself or adverse to dairy products/have an allergy.

In order to get a non-dairy drink, I was told to order from the Fresh Milk Menu. I did so with my Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Oat Milk and it was satisfying overall. It is indeed quite sweet even with 50% sugar so I'd advise to go even less if you aren't wanting a completely sweet drink.

“Had a delicious meal here. The birria tacos r the bomb!! The meat is tender and juicy and very flavorful. The mom is a excellent chef!! The place is super clean. U sit outside under a canopy surrounded by beautiful fruit trees and plants. It is a mom and pop food truck set up. It is not a wine and dine type of place. If u r looking for a place to have good food, this is it!! They r only opened on Sat and Sun and close when they sell out. I would definitely come back here again for more delicious tacos, refried beans and rice!!!😍“

“This place is a gem! I’ve been to Boba Nation a few times now and it’s quickly become my favorite boba spot. The variety on the menu is great there’s something for every mood, whether you’re into fruity teas or creamy milk-based drinks. Last time I got their strawberry matcha latte, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.“

That's the way I like them . The burgers are generous for the lettuce and tomato and there are plenty of condiments. You can get sodas or shakes or both.
There are other locations around the East Bay, not as many as there used to, but they're all pretty much equally good including the two that are on MacArthur boulevard, one near High Street and one near fruitvale.
All in all, one of my go-to burger places.
Pro tip, have plenty of napkins ready or just bring your roll of paper towels that you keep in the car.“

“Wine tasting in Hayward are words I never thought existed, but apparently Hayward is the perfect place for the best Chardonnay. We always pass by this hidden gem and so glad we stopped by this time. 🙏

Houston Family Vineyards in downtown was such a cute place with tasty wine and wonderful service. We are absolutely getting our wines here instead of the store from now on. 🍷

Service is great and quick. The food is consistent and delicious! The vibe and atmosphere is chill and family-friendly.

A highlight is their Lunch Special, which is a really solid deal for your own personal pizza. (Great for students who attend Cal State - East Bay!)

The best part is that they really pack the food in, you get a ton of value for what you pay for. Unlike other places like Panda, which cheaps out on quantity. We came from Modesto and there's no places like this there for good Filipino food. So we are very pleased to be here and get to eat all types of Filipino food. This is mainly for pick up but there’s around 16 to 20 seats if you want to dine in. The pizza at this location taste the same as I remember when we used to dine at the Redwood Shores location. “I had a couple carnitas street tacos and she had a couple fish street tacos.Both were really good and tasty especially the fish was really good..Pickled carrots, lime slices, roasted Pico salsa...This is a semi-permanent taco truck.What the deal is is that they have rent on a whole corner plot of land with parking, the truck AKA kitchen, and a large covered seating area for all weather.These guys have been here for years and they operate a nice kitchen.Very consistent, good prices, most extras come with, and cold drinks.“

“Hayward has always been a pass through town for me, that is until Brosco Bill and his little stab Coco de Avantè told me about Pick-A-Deli.
They claimed it's the best deli in the bay area! Well....That's a pretty tall statement, so I left my little hamlet of Napa and made the trek to Hayward to see for myself. When I get a request to visit a new deli I always order the same thing, a simple ham sandwich, and leave the rest up to the maker. I got my sando, and it was perfectly prepared, an even distribution of meat, perfect amounts of mayo and the dijon was well balanced, the sliced sourdough was a great accompaniment as were the chips and a crisp kosher pickle.
Is Pick-A-Deli the best deli in the bay area...No, Is it in the top 10, ...Yes!

I remember that previously I had ordered a coffee and their machines were down so they couldn’t prepare the coffee I had ordered but the manager of this establishment had still gotten me a coffee to help me with my troubles and gave me a refund for my original order! Not only did I leave a tip but that was an amazing way to start the day! Usually I am always taking care of someone else…but it was really nice to have someone take care of me too the love in the community of Hayward is why I do what I do and this just made my day!
