Not everyone's cup o' tea but they make up for it with their food. It's gourmet. I had a cheeseburger with fries and my fiance had the chilli fries and I can't remember the burger he had. Fries are thicker than the thin fast food fries, which I liked. Food came out hot.
Menu is next to the order window in large print and clear pricing. Looking at the menu does not disturb those who are ready to order. I believe there is a veggie burger so it can cater to veggetarians? I'd double chech their menu just to be sure it is there. There are 2 tables nearby to wait for your orders to be done. “This place is one of my favorites whenever I crave for phoa. However in my recent visit my order for phoa has some basil leaves that have some insect bites in them and they were not welded out when served with my order. I complained to the server but he mere said sorry and not change the basil served to me. I hope they will be more careful in serving fresh veggies to customers.“

“Quick drive thru, used to eat there when I worked in Hayward and we would always go. Hadn't been there in 30 years and it tastes exactly the same. I always got the carne asada super burrito. The salsa goes great with it. Highly recommend if you want to grab a great burrito on the go or to take home or work“

“Gong Cha is always a staple of mine whenever I am looking for boba and they happened to have a convenient location near shopping and some good restaurants.

Note: Gong Cha locations use a non-dairy creamer but beware, these almost always still contain whey which is a dairy derivative. It's a common misnomer so always ask for non-dairy milk if you are vegan like myself or adverse to dairy products/have an allergy.

In order to get a non-dairy drink, I was told to order from the Fresh Milk Menu. I did so with my Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Oat Milk and it was satisfying overall. It is indeed quite sweet even with 50% sugar so I'd advise to go even less if you aren't wanting a completely sweet drink.

“Hayward has always been a pass through town for me, that is until Brosco Bill and his little stab Coco de Avantè told me about Pick-A-Deli.
They claimed it's the best deli in the bay area! Well....That's a pretty tall statement, so I left my little hamlet of Napa and made the trek to Hayward to see for myself. When I get a request to visit a new deli I always order the same thing, a simple ham sandwich, and leave the rest up to the maker. I got my sando, and it was perfectly prepared, an even distribution of meat, perfect amounts of mayo and the dijon was well balanced, the sliced sourdough was a great accompaniment as were the chips and a crisp kosher pickle.
Is Pick-A-Deli the best deli in the bay area...No, Is it in the top 10, ...Yes!

“I had a couple carnitas street tacos and she had a couple fish street tacos.Both were really good and tasty especially the fish was really good..Pickled carrots, lime slices, roasted Pico salsa...This is a semi-permanent taco truck.What the deal is is that they have rent on a whole corner plot of land with parking, the truck AKA kitchen, and a large covered seating area for all weather.These guys have been here for years and they operate a nice kitchen.Very consistent, good prices, most extras come with, and cold drinks.“

For an all you can eat place, the sashimi doesn't taste like it's been sitting around. For the most part, it tastes fresh and cut to order. The beef skewers have a great taste and tender meat. The only skewer I didn't care for as much was the pork belly. It was a little on the dry side and tougher to chew. Basically everything else I've tried, from the fried calamari to the varieties of fish, it's been good!“

“As a first responder, I love caffeine first thing in the morning to start my day! I remember that previously I had ordered a coffee and their machines were down so they couldn’t prepare the coffee I had ordered but the manager of this establishment had still gotten me a coffee to help me with my troubles and gave me a refund for my original order! Not only did I leave a tip but that was an amazing way to start the day! Usually I am always taking care of someone else…but it was really nice to have someone take care of me too the love in the community of Hayward is why I do what I do and this just made my day!
