The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! And the Grilled NY steak with green garlic chimichurri, chorizo aioli and pommes pont neuf, thick cut fries…my son prefers over the fried chicken.”

“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!”

“What a great spot. If you live in a beach town most restaurants have an indoor outdoor vibe that is great but can be loud and chilly. This place is more like a European pub/restaurant with great food and a quiet vibe. Drinks are wonderful. Well priced for the area and the quality of the food. It's upstairs with no patio but warm and intimate. Great for a date or a table of four. I'll be back.”

“I’ve driven past hundreds of times, not really knowing what they’re all about. I was stopped at the traffic light one day and they were handing out a free meal. That was three months ago and since then, I am eating better and rarely go to the store except to get milk, eggs and bread! Discovering Ready Fit Go came at a perfect time. I was getting ready to have hand surgery and knew my recovery would be difficult and long. I started out with the 5 day meal plan and had it delivered. Everything I purchased was delicious and so fresh. That was the beginning of a new way of eating for me. There’s always fresh and healthy food in my refrigerator now, no more running out to pick up take out. I’m saving money, time and eating healthier then I ever have before. Bonus, the owner and staff are all very helpful, friendly and nice.”

“Red & Louie’s makes one of the best cheese pizzas I’ve ever had — simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. The crust was spot-on, the sauce had just the right balance, and the cheese was gooey perfection. I also tried their craft soda and loved it — super refreshing and a nice change from the usual. Great spot in Hermosa Beach. I’ll definitely be back!”

Food and service are always great and Andrew has been fantastic at taking care of our guests on our wedding day. Love their Iris Azul, El Pistachio and all the mezcal drinks. “The Baseline: For a sit down upper-scale restaurant is the quality of the food, existence of any unique offerings, quality of the service, and ambiance of the overall dining experience.

Food: There was not a single dish that we had at Slay Hermosa that wasn’t great. Appetizers were the Fried Calamari and Watermelon Salad and wow to the salad. The Watermelon salad had an incredible white vinaigrette and tajin spice. Get this salad! The Double Smash burger was a solid burger. The entree star was the Pork Chop that was cooked perfectly and the bed of sweet corn risotto made it wonderful. For the finish was the Butter Cake that was warm and dense like I love it. Mixed with the ice cream with berry drizzle and my Cafe au Lait it was a perfect ender to the meal.

Service: Fantastic top notch service that covered us for our visit. We were always asked at the right time if we needed anything. Also we got the best suggestions from our waiter.

Ambiance: Hermosa Beach on a rooftop dining area right at sunset… perfect time to dine and all will be fine. Great setting for a great meal. Didn’t use the restroom but it was getting cleaned when I left. The dining area was clean and the restaurant while compartmentalized is very serviceable.”

“Beautiful beachside cafe and retail shop located on Pier Ave in a historic building.. they have a beautiful patio and also a small dining room inside. Enter left for cafe, right for retail store.. excellent baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of great beverage selections. The egg white breakfast burrito was veggies rather than the typical breakfast meats and it was great. The chicken breast sandwich on the buckwheat bread was toasted to perfection and super tasty. The atmosphere is very charming beachside historic and reminds you of the age of Hermosa Beach.. original flooring and trim have been preserved from one of the oldest original buildings in town. The service was friendly and efficient with honest recommendations and everyone came out fast and perfecto even though they were nice and busy on a Saturday. Gum Tree is a great place to sit and relax, have a nice meal or a snack, shop for cool and unique housewares, gifts and beach related treasures. Located on the south side of Pier Ave between Monterey and Manhattan.”

Last night's (7/30/25) Showcase lineup was out of this world. Very exciting mix of original work by talented musicians. This night had a number of repeat appearances from the last 15 months of the program along with first-time appearances. It just keeps getting better!
Always a nice and friendly crowd responsive to and supportive of the performers.
Craft beer from Hermosa Brewing Company and Project Barley on tap. Mixed and canned drinks. Opens at 7 PM, so eat dinner first.
Can bring in food (clean up after yourself if & when you do). No wait staff: order drinks at the bar.

“Had a morning moment in Starbucks and this little shop was quaint and cozy. Nestled only a few feet from Hermosa Beach, when I walked in there was no line. I ordered my fav, Mango Dragonfruit refresher, and the turnaround time was super fast (get it with lemonade). Patrons come in waves, so by the time I figured out what baked good I wanted (yes, I get out of line so I can think about it) the line was a bit longer, but, again, it was a super quick turn around time. Always a great stop if you want your favorite drink by the beach, but know that parking is an issue, so plan to use this spot only for a beach day.”

The Source Cafe (est 2017) is a popular and fun little breakfast spot right on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach. It has a cool vibe, lots of fun things on the menu, healthy smoothies, and baked pastries. Interior design and layout were brilliant with abundant natural light.

We came on an early weekend morning to grab breakfast; it was my first time at this cafe. I was warmly greeted by a male staff with a smile. I ordered an iced coffee and avocado toast. Both items were solid. Breakfast AT was delightful and healthy.
Services were spot on. Prices were fair for the area. Plenty of street metered parking.

Overall, this cafe is a good spot for breakfast. I recommend it.”

I love the pepper bar… I’ve always like pepperscini with my french fries but I can only have that every so often lol they have outdoor seating that’s heated they have a fountain filled with wonderful drinks and they’re open until 10 PM Monday through Sunday!”
