“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. “I recently stumbled upon your establishment and must say, the name perfectly captures how I felt after trying your food. I ordered fried wings, rice, and vegetables, and each dish was exceptional.

The wings were piping hot, and the aroma that wafted from the box was simply incredible. The blend of spices and flavors was perfect, and I was truly blown away.

“Super Dumpling at Fox Hills Mall where Wokcano used to be is cool! The hot and sour soup was flavorful, the California roll fresh, and the complimentary spicy chicken dumpling was a great touch.

The kalbi ribs is my favorite but if you like spicy get the spicy pork. Another fave is the bulgogi and pork belly. They give a good amount of food for the price. Always fresh! Check them out. “We had an outstanding experience for our first catered event with LA Spice. The event planner, Andrea, was pleasant and easy to work with. She came and did a site visit to assess the possibilities for the party set up.

A few weeks later we had to change the venue. She was completely unflustered, came back for another site visit and made new suggestions about the set up.

As for the menu, she listened carefully to our parameters, then put together a menu that looked great on paper. She also worked with us to design the party layout including the colors for the table coverings, garden umbrellas, chairs, etc.

On the day of the party, she arrived early to oversee the set up. The catering staff came shortly afterwards and worked in a well orchestrated fashion to put everything together in just about 30 minutes.

The food that had looked good on paper was superb in both appearance and taste. The guests raved about the food long after the party!

The service by the staff of five (Chefs: Conrad & Dante; Servers: Agustin & Dawn; Bartender: Seth) was top-notch — pleasant, professional, attentive, and good humored. Many of our guests complimented us on how we’d found this group for our event.

For the size of our party and the food and service provided, the cost per person was very reasonable and lower than in our past experience with caterers.

We will definitely use LA Spice for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone else.“

“I hired them for my daughters Carnival themed Bat Mitzvah. I was happy that I did. From the customer service and planning, to the reasonable costs, the variety, the food and the staff were exceptional. The game booths were great as well. My guests are still talking about it. “I’m visiting a new area and I took a chance and ordered from DoorDash. I ordered a half a rack of ribs and even though they came very odd looking there was an extremely healthy portion. (There were not a lot of rib bones, but a lot of the bottom portion of the spare ribs, but I did not mind because it was a generous serving) The barbecue sauce was outstanding and all of the side dishes were delicious. They were running a two for one on some of the sides so I got a ton of food.“

“Worked here a few weeks before COVID lockdowns happened in late March of 2020, flights cancelled at a rate of 90% is what I was told a week prior to the lock downs began. It was an ok work place, worked in the area where you put gummy bears, chips etc in the trays that fit into the carts. I'm not sure if it's a continued practice or not to this day but when I was there we repackaged any food that was unopened over and over again, much of the same food's been on multiple flight's.“

Let me tell you, Carlos and his team are such professionals that they took a major load off our backs mainly my fiancé. We sat down with Carlos At his office a year prior to our wedding and he asked us what we’re looking for and he had his pen and paper noting everything down. Months passed and we again met with Carlos this time at the South End hall for the food tasting and he didn’t disappoint....the food was amazing and our guests told us after the wedding how much they loved food. We again met with Carlos and his daughter Karla and they showed us the table setting with the colors my fiancé wanted and she loved it since that’s what she envisioned. We wanted custom chairs for our sweetheart table and Carlos went above and beyond to get them for us. We couldn’t wait to see the final product and the day of the wedding we were amazed!!! Oh and the cocktail hour setting and appetizers were a major plus as well. For those out there reading these reviews, look no further. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed and with his help along with his family and his other staff, you’re planning will be not as stressful. Just as long as you provide him with details as to what your looking for and envision on your big day, Carlos can make it happen.
