“We recently hired Raquel and her team for a private dinner party. From start to finish her whole team understood our vision. Not only did they provide delicious Authentic " Elevated" Puerto Rican Food but we used their party decorators which completely understood the assignment and everything was flawless and beautiful. There was no moment in which i felt stressed. They handled everything. They even contacted the venue and coordinated directly with them for set up., etc.. we walked into our party and were completely blown away. I am still dreaming about it all!“

Every bite was seasoned just right, and the breading had that satisfying crunch. The sides are all amazing too. The collard greens were cooked low and slow, bursting with savory goodness. The red beans and rice were perfectly balanced, with tender beans and flavorful rice. Yams were candied to sweet perfection, and the dressing was like a fluffy, savory hug on a plate. I couldn't resist the mac and cheese, and it was rich and creamy, just the way I like it.But wait, there's more! Patty's also has incredible fried catfish. Golden brown on the outside and flaky on the inside, it was every bit as good as the chicken. And for dessert? Don't even get me started on the banana pudding ice cream! I recently tried a slice of cake from them, and it was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious. “Vegetarian options: My husband and I are the second time we have ordered from this Bakery. On Thursday we ordered a vegan, sugar-free cake for our baby who was turning 1 year old. The theme was kittens, butterflies and flowers because that's what my baby likes the most. And the truth was it was the most beautiful and exquisite. I highly recommend it.“

“I was coordinating and planning an event for a client and they were looking for high end tacos for a wedding. I immediately knew Juan and his team were the right people for the job! The taco cart catering company came on time upon arrival, we're very responsive with communication, professional, clean, on time with dinner service, fast with servicing the dinner buffet and the tacos were delicious! As an event planner we sample a lot of banquet style food and many are mediocre but these tacos were elevated! The meat was seasoned perfectly, the rice was so fluffy and they had so many salsas to offer. If you're looking for a fantastic taco cart seek out Juan and his team, you won't regret it.“

“I give EMUNA my Biggest Thumbs zip and Gratitude ! I am so amazed by Edmuna and especially John ( who was do caring and understanding at my last moment nite call )! It rare during Passover to find anyone who sells food - not GRUMPY ! I want to share it with the world . Kosher catering is usually acceptable but not beautiful or extremely delicious but I was amazed by everything Emuna and John did for me . I usually do all the cooking on holidays for my family and rely on caterers for things I don't do ie. Defile fish , Matzoh balls etc. However this Passover I had not expect to be in LA, due to commitments in NY so I didn't make big plans for Passover . since my children ( grown and 2 out of 3 married )!!BH At the last minute the thought of not being with my children and granddaughter made me feel very sad . They also kept complaining they would not have my " famous" brisket . With so little time I relied on the kids her butchers I do business and also had to quickly kosher my house etc. A friend recommended Edmuna and I said what do I have to lose ..., the other caterers have been less than exciting and I really was in days of Passover . I called emuna and instantly I knew I was dealing with next level people . As an avid chef and coming from NYC we have so many great options. I found in LA that was not the case. John couldn't commit at first since he was basically done taking orders . I wanted his chef to come to my home and he laughed ( it's a NYC type of option). We spoke so many times over the next 24 hours - and my guest list was growing . At B the very last moment my younger daughter announced we need a birthday cake for her husband ! John I not only accommodated everything but he even did 4 beautiful Seder plates for me . I kept changing and adding things until the last moment . When the food arrived I expected and believed it would be good but to my utter shock IT WAS BEYOND AMAZING !!! It didn't present or taste like the kosher catering I have experienced over my life. Everything was beautiful, fresh beyond belief , done exactly to my requirement and tasted as if I had a secret Michelin starred chef in my kitchen !! I think EMUNA is exactly as definition !!! I will never use another caterer and I'm the future I will feel so comfortable putting more of the food load on Emuna and really enjoying my family! I can't recommend EMUNA enough and I am a very difficult customer to amaze when it comes to food ! I work with all the top chef's and restaurateurs plus I am a cook myself but Emuna went above and beyond and you see, taste and feel the love for what they do and the customer's enjoyment ! I give EMUNA a 6 STAR B review on a scale of 1-5 ! I am so lucky to have happened upon them and I know this is the beginning of a very long relationship . I love Emuna and if you like beautiful , delicious , "home cooked" food you will too! There are no words to say how amazing they are and I feel I was so blessed and from my last minutes panic and attention to detail this relationship was meant to be !!! Food !!! “My roommate decided to try the coffee after hearing about it through a friend in CA (we are in RI). My roommate says it is by far one of the best coffees he has ever tasted. Very aromatic! Smooth and just, well, a must try! It was also ground well, packaging was great, delivery was on time. Website was easy to use. We'll be back for another shipment!“

“Bites & Bashes is a cute little breakfast spot run by a mother-daughter duo, using produce from their family farm. The menu comes off as Asian-Mexican fusion with burritos and bulgogi items. We had the ube lava pancakes, Korean breakfast, crack fries, and the CFO. The ube lava pancakes comes with three moist, fluffy pancake generously drizzled with ube syrup and coconut flakes. This was soo good! The Korean breakfast is a skillet of beef bulgogi, onion, peppers, and two eggs over rice. It was a very satisfy and delicious comfort food. The CFO is a burrito with scrambled eggs, pork, beans, rice, and scallions. I tried a little of it and it was pretty good. The crack fries are a great appetizer. Service was really great and we got to meet the owners: Crystal, the daughter, and the mom, Chef Julie.“

Last day I brought my roomies and they all loved the food and atmosphere as well. Food is freshly cooked and cheap. My roomie states: super good Vietnamese coffee and chicken adobo (~$14 total) below is a photo of her food. Healthy portion of food for the price as well. Chicken adobo is a bit sweeter than normal but not complaining very tasty!“

Liset provided me with a quote for a 20-person birthday party for smoked ribs, brisket, mashed potatoes and cheesy potatoes. The pricing is reasonable and most importantly the food was DELICIOUS! Being that this is my first time ordering from them, there was some hesitation but let me say, that I was pleasantly pleased by the flavor of the food. The meat from the ribs was tender and falling off the bones. The briskets so tender and full of flavor. The mac and cheese and cheesy potatoes was all sooo delicious! My family all asked where the food was from and kept raving about it. It was so fulfilling and we will certainly consider using them again and refer them to friends and family!! “Three words: Lahaina Fried Chicken! I highly recommend it. These fried chicken nuggets are extremely crispy, tasty and moist. The entree includes rice, macaroni salad and ramen cabbage salad. The portions are pretty big and the prices are reasonable. The decor feels like you're back home in Lahaina. You might get lucky and catch a live band!“

“As you can see, I frequent this restaurant a lot. Lately, I’ve noticed a new cashier, short brunette hair glasses, and she doesn’t know what you offer. 2 times, today being the second, I’ve come in and ordered the BLT wanting a side salad for my side dish and she has replied that you don’t offer it. Luckily, it was another lady in front who interjected and said “we do” and showed her where it was on register. Today I come in wanting a BLT w/side salad and with an unflattering tone said “we can’t do that”. I ask her does she remember us going over this the first time she says “no we don’t offer that here”. There was another lady there who was on the phone and I proceeded to wait until she got off the phone to ask her. When she sees me about to take it a step farther by asking someone else ONLY THEN she says “I guess we can do that.” She was trying to get me to pay an extra 6.99 for a side salad. I wonder how many who have gone through this who did not ask any further questions to someone different has this happened to. The lady gets off the phone and I ask her she states “yes, you can get a salad as your side.” I order an executive box with 3 cookies. As always, they forget to give me my cookies. I tell the cashier w/glasses they forgot to put cookies in. Do you know this lady has the audacity to say “let me check your bag” after she seen me checking bag as if I was lying trying to get free cookies. She says after throughly searching “you did not get 3 from here” pointing to basket. I say no. She says “ you can get three”. She didn’t say thank you after handing me my receipt, no greeting just NOTHING! She needs to learn the menu and improve her customer service immensely. I love coming here but I dislike after paying $14 for lunch, leaving restaurant in a sour mood d/t inept customer service.“

“What a nice surprise to run into this pop up booth from Primal Alchemy today. Got the smoked brisket breakfast burrito which was awesome! Some of the most tender brisket I have tasted in a while. Had a good chuckle as well when I ordered my breakfast burrito with salsa on the side and the owner or chef was taken away by my request, like how dare I not trust him! Long story short the cook put the salsa inside my burrito anyway which was fine. Salsa on the side or inside it's still a great burrito and definitely will be back for their next pop up! Greek Grilled and charbroiled Kabobs Chicken,Fillet Migon are my favorite. The portions are squeezed into small styrofoam containers. Not good for the environment! But the food is delicious. Prices are the maximum I pay for street eats. The service? They have a hard working good group, so tip them. No pictures here, because I'm hungry. Only caution, They take on line orders, hopefully you don't get behind a slew of them,or your order may take a little longer, but you can bet it will be worth the wait.“

Expressed to the owner that it be made clear to anyone viewing the business on TikTok or Instagram understand that the restaurant is subject to close without notice late afternoon at any given time, if they have evening catering commitments.Another point to consider: Covid has distorted the taste buds of many people. Could be applicable here with these two reviewer's, and their distaste for the food they ordered. My rating: four stars!“
