“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the 2 meat plate which came with 2 sides and a drink. It came to about 30 after tax and it was worth it.

The beef link was spicy and delicious, the amount of brisket I got was surprisingly large and the corn was amazing.

“This place served us authentic and delicious Thai dishes. The service lady was very nice and polite. We ordered a lot of food for lunch and they managed to bring them out on a good time even though there were a good number of customers. Massaman curry, pad Thai, pad sew ew, larb, fried rice, sticky rice with fresh mango, were all amazing delicious. The ceiling were decorated with colorful upside down umbrellas which made for some great pictures. Their prices were very reasonable.“

“We had a great experience with Chef Dora Presents for our daughter’s bat mitzvah. We were planning for around 135 to 150 guests and had some important dietary requirements to work around. Everything needed to be dairy free and gluten free, and because our daughter has severe Celiac Disease, avoiding any cross-contamination during food prep was essential. They were also very thoughtful about accommodating other guest needs, including allergies, kosher preferences, and vegetarian options. For the event setup, we went with a buffet for the kids and a plated dinner for the adults, which worked perfectly. Chef Dora and Stuart were both easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout the process. We started planning months in advance, had a few meetings along the way, and did a private tasting that really helped us finalize everything. Their level of professionalism really stood out. They were both present during the event and even stepped in to help with a few things that came up, which made a big difference since we didn’t have a day-of coordinator. The food was truly delicious. Sometimes gluten free food can be a concern in terms of flavor, but everything they prepared was excellent. Some of our favorites were the kalbi beef tacos for the appetizer and the turmeric chicken served with lime rice and vegetables. Both items were standout hits, and we were thrilled to have some leftovers afterward. We would definitely recommend Chef Dora Presents and would happily work with them again.“

“I had my wedding banquet in my backyard, and we picked Pimenta because they are really transparent that they don't have an extra charge on the invoice - only what they mentioned on the website. It's also because my partner stays in Brazil some of the time, and we were engaged in Brazil, too, so we wanted to have a Brazilian BBQ at the party. And I could tell the taste is the same as in Brazil! Pimenta is owned by a Brazilian couple, Marcelo and Maria, and my partner informed me that they speak Portuguese to each other. So it's really authentic!

And the portion is so big that we couldn't finish the food with 36 guests! Marcelo and Maria are great, too. Easy to work with. We will find them once again if we host big events again! “Super Dumpling at Fox Hills Mall where Wokcano used to be is cool! The hot and sour soup was flavorful, the California roll fresh, and the complimentary spicy chicken dumpling was a great touch.

We again met with Carlos and his daughter Karla and they showed us the table setting with the colors my fiancé wanted and she loved it since that’s what she envisioned. We wanted custom chairs for our sweetheart table and Carlos went above and beyond to get them for us. We couldn’t wait to see the final product and the day of the wedding we were amazed!!! “Recently my nephew got married and on his reception taken place on universal city Hilton hotel and we found Mazze banquet from Pasadena for catering. The food was excellent the service was excellent everything was on time. We had 250 guests and everything went smoothly. Food quality was 10 out of 10. Service was 10 out of 10. So happy so happy. “Worked here a few weeks before COVID lockdowns happened in late March of 2020, flights cancelled at a rate of 90% is what I was told a week prior to the lock downs began. It was an ok work place, worked in the area where you put gummy bears, chips etc in the trays that fit into the carts. I'm not sure if it's a continued practice or not to this day but when I was there we repackaged any food that was unopened over and over again, much of the same food's been on multiple flight's.“
