The sweetest gentleman showed up at the house early, prepared and got busy right away setting up on the 7’ long dining table. He brought beautiful wood crates to create multiple levels of assorted cheeses & meats, hummus & crudités, nuts & beautifully sliced fruits, multiple types of small crackers & breads… even supplied small jars of honey & dippers as well as small jars of spicy mustards. Gorgeous Protea flowers were carefully placed for the finishing touches. One hour after he arrived… we were blown away with the end result!! Our guests were impressed!! She was incredibly patient, informative, and responsive throughout the entire process. She was especially helpful when it came to navigating my company’s legal requirements, including the COI, handling everything with professionalism and grace. Although our event hasn’t taken place yet, I feel confident that it will run seamlessly thanks to Katrina’s exceptional support and attention to detail. “This predominantly vegan restaurant serves a good variety of delicious, fresh and healthy fare. I recommend the lentil loaf, colossal kale salad, flautas, and the orange cauliflower lo mein among others, and I hear the breakfast items (served all day) are excellent. Arlene is a fantastic server. In addition to the mostly vegan items, the eclectic menu also recently added some vegetarian but non-vegan entrees and even fish. This has drawn some unfair criticism. Please keep in mind that times are very difficult now for restaurants, and at least doubly so for vegetarian and vegan restaurants. If the inclusion of a few non-vegan items helps keep this gem of an eatery with a predominantly vegan/vegetarian menu afloat, then all the better for all of us.“

“I am from Philadelphia,Pa. I come from an area with very good Italian food and I worked for an Italian Market in Warminster. The Bruschetta was meticulous and delicious, my wife had the Picatta and I had a Calzone. Pasta was perfectly to the tooth. The chicken tender and flavorful. My Calzone (I make my own and have eaten them all over) was exceptional and the sauce was fresh and lovely spotlight on the tomato. On my list for returning and highly recommended if you like Nonna-style Italian food!!!!“

“Amandine is consistently good for me because the flavors are great, the service is also dependable, and they have tons of options that I love. I’m a deep fan of French food and love this mini bistro. There are many locations around town and all are solid. This location has easier parking than some of the others and inside is quite large with many different seating options.

The staff was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. I have tried many of their sandwiches, but this time I chose the Steak and Eggs and thought it was great. They also have a ton of pastries and coffee options so it’s a great place to grab a snack as well if you don’t feel like a full meal. Everything about it really hit the spot and I would recommend to anyone in the area. It’s a great option for breakfast or lunch.“

“We had an outstanding experience for our first catered event with LA Spice. The event planner, Andrea, was pleasant and easy to work with. She came and did a site visit to assess the possibilities for the party set up.

A few weeks later we had to change the venue. She was completely unflustered, came back for another site visit and made new suggestions about the set up.

As for the menu, she listened carefully to our parameters, then put together a menu that looked great on paper. She also worked with us to design the party layout including the colors for the table coverings, garden umbrellas, chairs, etc.

On the day of the party, she arrived early to oversee the set up. The catering staff came shortly afterwards and worked in a well orchestrated fashion to put everything together in just about 30 minutes.

The food that had looked good on paper was superb in both appearance and taste. The guests raved about the food long after the party!

The service by the staff of five (Chefs: Conrad & Dante; Servers: Agustin & Dawn; Bartender: Seth) was top-notch — pleasant, professional, attentive, and good humored. Many of our guests complimented us on how we’d found this group for our event.

For the size of our party and the food and service provided, the cost per person was very reasonable and lower than in our past experience with caterers.

We will definitely use LA Spice for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone else.“
