“This is one of my favorite local spots. I go there a few times a week, and they always deliver great food and friendly service.
The chorizo and avocado breakfast burrito is my favorite—it’s flavorful and really well-made. They’re also pretty quick, which is great when you’re short on time.
I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area.“

“I love this place! Huge portions of fresh made healthy foods & treats! They even have a healthy doggie menu! The 80’s music rocks! Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, ect. Great coffee drinks right down to the movie themed cup warmers. Staff is actually DESERVING of tips!!! Great experience EVERY time I visit Huntington Beach!“

“Amazing breakfast!! We had an omelette and aeal with pancakes and both were fantastic!! They served a hot sauce from Red Beards that complemented the omelette perfectly and bought some online afterwards!! When we're back in Huntington Beach, we'll definitely make another stop at the Sugar Shack!“

“We enjoyed meeting the owner. She was very nice and friendly. We love that the bread is made with the freshest ingredients . We had an apple strudel the pastry was filled with apples, raisins, cinnamon, and top with powdered sugar. We enjoyed this with a coffee. I definitely recommend to try this place.“

“I love this place but I can't tell u how many times I've arrived here only to see it closed on a holiday or too early in the day. My suggestion is to open earlier because this place doesn't even open after I get out of early AM gym which is around 6am.“

“My new favorite spot! The breakfast burrito was so delicious! The Cali-Burrito is my favorite! Filled me up! Anthony is the owner, and he's such a great person! The staff here is amazing! I'm curious to try their breakfast plates. 10/10 recommended as I'm big with service, size of food, and taste.“

“CASH ONLY. French Toast Combo eggs, bacon $12. That’s unheard of it was delicious service was superb. I just wish there were some signs pointing it was cash only as cash is tight right now. I get it though they can keep the cost down haven’t been to a cash only joint in years.“

“Nice spot, especially out on the patio. The kitchen was a little slammed so our food took awhile. The food was solid but not fantastic. I’m a little bit of a foodie so I look for something with pizzazz. Still it was a nice day and a great place to connect with a couple of friends.“

“I dropped just about everything that was set in front of me and Katy was quick to come to my rescue every time. Drink and food were amazing and all requests were accommodated. She even played into our humor which most servers would probably be annoyed with because if you have worked in the biz, you know when 8 ladies walk into the restaurant, it’s gonna be a treat. Katy for president!“

“At Java Point is just crazy cool. This little coffee shop combined two of my favorite things: coffee and surf boards. In honesty I'm more a fan of the boards than the coffee! Also, you don't actually buy the boards from Java Point, but since it's located inside HSS (Huntington Surf and Sport) you kind of can't avoid them.Java Point offers a good selection of coffee and teas and it's currently my daughter's favorite place for chai. I'm not a big fan of chai, but she says it's one of the best in the area. They also have small pastries and may even do some lighter meals, think sandwiches and the like. Just be careful not to knock on the glass as it scares the donuts (iykyk).So if you need a cup of coffee and a light snack and love surf and the beach, head to Java Point. I think you'll like it. You can even take your coffee right across PCH and walk the Huntington Beach pier while you enjoy it!
Vegetarian options: They have some great pastries that i believe are vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place, lots of things to explore.
Parking: There's a lot of parking options and if you are ok with walking a ways there are some free options too.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is.
Dietary restrictions: There are a couple different GF options available in the pastry section as well.“

“Food was pretty good. I wanted to give 5 star service for the employee/cashier who right off the bat greeted us and gave us a heads up on the food wait. He was also super patient while we tried to figure out the menu. The food did take a bit of time to come out as forewarned but was not that bad of a wait. I’ve waited longer and judging from the amount of people in the dining area, it was reasonable. The only real negative thing was that were no napkins in any of the napkins dispensers. I’m a messy eater, I need my napkins!! Haha!“

“One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! The server is also incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to. Overall, this place is such a phenomenal experience and we would highly recommend it for vacationers and gelato connoisseurs alike!“
